Stayed here May 19th-21st. Rooms are clean and reception staff helpful BUT for the two nights I stayed at the hotel I barely slept. You can hear everything from the rooms next to you. After first night, I was forced to wake up at 6am as the guy next room decided to watch TV. I asked for a different room, witch I got but next night I was woken up "private noises" from next room. I always sleep with ear plugs but even that didn't help. If you're looking for a peaceful hotel, I don't recommend this place!

The hotel is clean and comfortable even if the standard rooms are very small. Location is also close to the Metro. However, the rooms have walls that are thinner than a sheet of A4 paper and the noise levels are shocking. The hotel also advertises a frequent guest programme - offering free upgrade on a basic room - but the hotel rarely honours this despite it being promotes everywhere. Wifi is also very variable depending on the room you are allocated. I would definitely avoid.

The hotel is comfortable and in a quiet area of town, even though it is right next to the Olympic stadium. The rooms are clean and the WiFi good enough. It is only a very short walk to lines 6 and 5 (circle) so you can quickly get to anywhere. The only downside is the breakfast - but it is adequate with reasonable coffee. The restaurant Tetri is very good and right outside the hotel with other good Tripadvisor reviewed hotels close by.

Excellant hotel for your money. Rooms clean and tidy. Comfortable bed.The shower was a delight, could have stayed in it for hours. (Unfortunatly I could not get any english speaking channels on the TV . I like my morning news...only a small negative though.) Quiet area but with enough places to eat out locally if needed. The hotel itself has a lovely layout and decor. All the staff speak some english, and the receptionists have very good language skills. We found them very friendly and helpful (one even came to the local bank with us to translate the cashpoint) Thank you. The breakfast is typical european buffet style. All tasty, but lacking in the choice for a typical brit. There is a metro station a couple of minutes walk and only a couple of stops into the centre of Moscow. (journeys cost about 50p anywhere) . Before you go get a metro map IN RUSSIAN. English is of no use, or even 'english russian' because all the directions and names in the stations are ONLY in russian. Very easy to navigate if you have the map. The stations are worth stopping at, just to admire the different architechture.

We stayed in Gallery Avenue Hotel from the 18 to the 21st of April, and we paid £245. The room is what you can see in the website, the hotel is new, the decoration in the room is a little baroque, the bathroom has a big shower and water runs hot! The staff in the hotel is very nice and speak good English, the girls at the reception (Tatyana and Sofia) are friendly and helpful, if you need to book a taxi to pick you up from the airport they can book it for you at a very reasonable price (we pay 1400 rublos to Domodenovo airport). The breakfast is just fair, I expected a little bit more, you have a selection of hot dishes (sausages, pizza, omelette, boiled eggs, pancakes and pudding), toasts, cereals, coffee from a Nescafe machine, orange juice, activia yogourt and kiwis and some vegetables were offered. The area around the hotel is good, 5 minutes walking to Prospect Mira Metro Station. I highly recommend the hotel, the service is good and you get good quality for what you are paying for.

Pleasantly surprised, booked after a lot of research. Location good near to Prospect Mira, circle line, as metro is best way to travel this is important. Reasonably good standard of english spoken in reception, again unusual in Moscow. Breakfast abundant, ok not spectacular but has all you need hot and cold. Rooms a little on small side and have double (not twin beds) but comfortable and I loved the decor and attention to detail boutique style and a bit like versailles, imitation art in rooms and corridors. Good power shower(though one morningwater was cold) If you book direct email or web as opposed to via an intermediary, you get extras such as dressing gown, slippers, coffe and tea, fruit on arrival, water. Free safety deposit box in room and basic ammenites and hairdryer. We also booked an economy single, room small and ok, however warning has no window for ventilation as is in middle of corridor, but if on a budget is ok. Price was good. Restaurants in nearby area, the one opposite hotel good, but expensive , found an excellent italian in shopping centre around the corner, very good food and reasonable price and menu in english.
