Everything we know about the Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour 2023

Alert the BeyHive!

Virginia Gil

Beyoncé is embarking on a world tour this summer and, naturally, the BeyHive is abuzz. She'll be crossing continents in support of her seventh studio album, Rennaisance , traveling from Stockholm to Warsaw to New York City to Miami as she hits more than 40 cities on this two-leg adventure spanning from May through September.

The last time our queen hit the road on a headlining tour, the year was 2016 and buying concert tickets isn't the disaster it is today. This was before the Taylor Swift debacle and the cringe-y Ticketmaster hearing in congress (Who knew so many senators were Swifties?). That said, getting your hands on tickets will require some strategic planning and preparation (and might break your soul).

Below, we've outlined everything you need to know about Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour 2023, from which cities she'll hit to what you need to do ahead of time in order to buy tickets.

How can I get tickets for the Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour?

First, you'll need to register as a verified fan . This genius step will, hopefully, keep what happened to Swifties from affecting the BeyHive by filtering out buyers looking to resell tickets. Registration does not guarantee tickets but will create a better ticket-buying experience for fans.

Shows are grouped together for registration, and you'll need to sign up for each group should you want to buy tickets for multiple shows. Deadlines to register vary by city, so be sure to check the dates for your desired tour stop before the window closes.

No official on-sale dates have been announced, but the type of registration you sign up for (BeyHive Verified Fan, Citi Verified Fan or Verified Fan Onsale) will determine how quickly you can potentially "get in line" for tickets. The key takeaway, for now, should be to pre-register and check your emails regularly for updates on the next steps.

Beyoncé Announces Renaissance World Tour

By Evan Minsker and Allison Hussey

Beyonc

Beyoncé has announced that she’s touring in support of her latest album, Renaissance . The tour begins with a European leg in May, followed by dates in Canada and the United States that extend from from early July through late September. It’s her first tour since her 2018 co-headlining On the Run II Tour with Jay-Z behind their collaborative album, Everything Is Love , and her first headlining tour since 2016’s Formation World Tour behind Lemonade . The Renaissance World Tour is produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation. See all of the dates below.

Renaissance arrived July 29, rising swiftly to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and marking Beyoncé’s seventh album to summit the albums chart. It is the first act in what will be a three-part series, she has indicated.

Beyoncé hinted at her world tour in late October, during the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala, where the raffle included “ a UNIQUE experience ” to see her on the Renaissance tour. Purported images from the auction featured descriptions of the summer 2023 trek. Valued at $20,000, the package included first-class plane tickets, a three-night hotel stay, two concert tickets, and a guided backstage tour from Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles aka Miss Tina. Beyoncé was reportedly in attendance at the gala. In January, she performed at the opening of a new luxury resort in Dubai, but did not play any Renaissance material at the private concert . It was her first live performance since 2020.

Since sharing Renaissance , Beyoncé has made a few adjustments to the album; she replaced ableist lyrics in “ Heated ,” and removed an interpolation of Kelis ’ “Milkshake” on “Energy” after Kelis said she was not informed by Beyoncé and her team that her music was going to be used on the new album. Beyoncé also dropped Honey Dijon and Madonna remixes of “ Break My Soul .”

In 2019, Beyoncé released Homecoming: The Live Album . The next year, she shared Black Is King , a visual album based on her 2019 soundtrack for The Lion King: The Gift . (Beyoncé voiced adult Nala in the CGI remake film.) On Juneteenth of that year, she surprise-released “ Black Parade ,” which would go on to win the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance . At the same ceremony, she also won Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song (for her feature on the remix of Megan Thee Stallion ’s “ Savage ”), as well as Best Music Video (for The Gift ’s “ Brown Skin Girl ”). “ Be Alive ”—her contribution to the King Richard soundtrack—was nominated for an Oscar at last year’s ceremony.

Beyoncé is nominated for nine honors at the 2023 Grammy Awards : Record of the Year , Song of the Year , and Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Break My Soul”; Album of the Year and Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for Renaissance ; Best R&B Performance for “Virgo’s Groove”; Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa”; Best R&B Song for “Cuff It”; and Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Be Alive.”

How Far Would You Travel to See Beyoncé?

Members of the BeyHive are going to extraordinary lengths — some of them trans-Atlantic — to ensure they don’t miss the superstar on her coming world tour.

  • Share full article

Beyoncé, wearing a sparkling silver and pink body suit, is surrounded onstage by dancers in glittery purple tops and red pants.

By Sandra E. Garcia

How far would you go to see the winningest artist in Grammy history? Is it more or less than 5,800 miles?

For Janny Nascimento, a 29-year-old English teacher in Brazil, missing Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour — the singer’s first solo tour since 2016 — was not an option. So she plunked down 850 euros, or about $900, for a pair of tickets to see her favorite artist on June 24 in Frankfurt, Germany.

“I would do it again if I had to because this is the dream come true,” Ms. Nascimento said from her apartment in Campos dos Goytacazes, a town four hours northeast of Rio de Janeiro. Though she has never before traveled outside Brazil, “now I’m going through two continents to a place that I have never been to, a country where I don’t even speak the language,” she said.

The announcement of the tour on Instagram last week immediately touched off a frenzy for tickets, with fans losing their minds with presale (and resale) anxieties. Chances to snag tickets before they went on sale to the general public were offered to members of Beyoncé’s official fan club and holders of certain credit cards through exclusive presale drops.

But early in the registration process, Ticketmaster issued an ominous warning that “demand already exceeds the number of tickets available by more than 800 percent” in several cities, prompting some worried fans to consider an unlikely option: If I’m determined not to miss this tour, is it possible that the rational thing to do is cross an ocean for a concert?

Bre Harper, 27, a creative partnerships manager at Spotify who lives in Los Angeles, realized her chances of getting tickets to a North American stop on the tour were slim to none.

“I, with the rest of the internet, went on Ticketmaster, where you have to be verified as a fan,” Ms. Harper said, referring to restrictions on sales for U.S. tour dates .

“I did not make a Verified Fan account with Ticketmaster,” she added. “I just have a regular account. I didn’t feel like fiddling with the whole Verified Fan thing.”

While scrolling on TikTok, Ms. Harper learned that she did not have to be verified to buy tickets to the European leg of the tour. She also noticed that tickets for European dates were often hundreds of dollars cheaper than comparable tickets in the United States, she said. When she asked her boyfriend if he would be willing to travel with her, he said yes.

The only European city she could find with tickets available in the “Club Renaissance” standing section was Warsaw, Poland. Ms. Harper, who said she believed the 40-city tour could be the artist’s last, bought a pair of $475 tickets as quickly as she could.

“She now has a life, a family,” Ms. Harper said. “I think this is going to be her last hurrah and I didn’t want to miss it.”

Tickets to the tour, which is in support of Beyoncé’s seventh solo studio album, “Renaissance,” went on sale to members of the BeyHive fan club on Monday. Ticketmaster’s decision to require Verified Fan registration reflects one of the company’s most muscular attempts yet to thwart bots and stop scalpers from buying tickets and reselling them at absurd markups.

Late last year, Ticketmaster was forced to cancel a planned general release of tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour after an overheated presale period ended in chaos. Ms. Swift’s fans complained that tickets were being sold at preposterous markups of up to tens of thousands of dollars on sites like StubHub.

The Justice Department has opened an antitrust investigation into Live Nation Entertainment , which owns Ticketmaster. Last month, during a nearly three-hour Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, politicians painted the concert giant as a monopoly that hinders competition and harms consumers. Shortly after the announcement of the Renaissance World Tour, the Senate Judiciary Committee issued an ominous warning to Ticketmaster on Twitter .

Ticketmaster, whose parent company’s president has acknowledged problems with the presale for Ms. Swift’s tour, did not immediately respond to questions on Friday.

The tour is scheduled to begin on May 10 in Stockholm, cutting a path across Europe through June before heading to North America in July.

Ms. Harper, a self-described military brat, said she had traveled through Europe extensively, but she had never been to Poland.

“It’s not that frightening to me,” Ms. Harper said. “You only live once — let’s go!”

Ms. Harper, who posted on Twitter about acquiring her tickets, said that, as a Black woman, she was nervous about only one thing.

“I had a lot of people comment or quote my tweet and tell me that there are some racial issues in Poland currently,” she said. “That’s probably the only thing that I’m just a tad bit nervous about.”

“But the BeyHive is so supportive,” she added, referring to the superstar’s legion of fans. “There are so many folks that are in my DMs saying that they live or they have relatives in Poland. They are already offering to help me with places to go, eat, and how to navigate the metro.”

After she missed an opportunity to see Beyoncé in Rio de Janeiro in 2013, Ms. Nascimento was resolved not to let another chance go by. Although she doesn’t have a passport yet, she has already taken a photo for it.

“I’m still struggling, looking at the credit card receipt,” Ms. Nascimento said. “I would do it again if I had to,” she added wistfully.

“This is inspired by the album,” Ms. Nascimento said, her pink box braids pulled away from her face. “When ‘Break My Soul’ came out, I was in a very dark place in my life,” she said, “and it was like Beyoncé wrote this thinking about me.”

“She knows that I’m struggling, she knows what’s going on,” Ms. Nascimento added. “She was like, release your job, release your mind, you know, let down your hair.”

poland renaissance tour

It’s hard to believe that Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour has made its final stop in Kansas City. The era of Renaissance was marked by stadiums filled with eager Beyhive stans in shiny metallics and chrome colors all in celebration of her landmark album.

Fans can only assume what the subsequent acts in the Renaissance trilogy may be, but Beyoncé is giving us plenty of content to hold us over—on Saturday, Parkwood Entertainment and AMC Entertainment have announced their collaboration to bring the “Break My Soul” artist’s monumental RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR to cinemas worldwide.

Beyoncé’s Tour Gets Film Treatment: ‘RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ’

The worldwide tour is more than deserving of such a visual, considering the tours record-breaking numbers. Billboard reports that Beyoncé’s world tour generated a staggering $179 million in just one month , shattering her own previous monthly record and positioning her to join the ranks of artists such as Coldplay and Rolling Stone with some of the highest-grossing tours in history. Moreover, Beyoncé’s contribution to the American economy through the Renaissance tour is estimated to reach a staggering $4.4 billion, as reported by the New York Times .

With RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ , the Houston native becomes the second artist, after Taylor Swift , to bring her tour to the big screen in theaters. This isn’t her first foray into making her concerts available for home viewing either. In 2019, she treated fans to Homecoming , a documentary of her 2018 Coachella performance, on Netflix. And back in 2014, she premiered her joint On The Run tour with JAY-Z on HBO.

Titled RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ , this documentary-style film chronicles the artistic genius, intense dedication, and remarkable vision that brought the tour to life. Parkwood Entertainment and AMC Entertainment are teaming up to bring this tour to the silver screen, allowing fans around the world to relive the magic of Beyoncé’s unparalleled performances across the world.

There’s an abundance of incredible footage to choose from during her tour, including her special birthday show in Los Angeles, where she welcomed Diana Ross, and her Houston homecoming, which featured fellow Houstonian Megan Thee Stallion. It’s been reported that Beyoncé captured the Renaissance World Tour in her hometown of Houston, TX over a two-day period in late September, however only time will tell what makes the final cut of the film.

On Instagram Sunday, she shared the trailer for the upcoming film, writing, “Be careful for what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply.”

From its inception to the final, breathtaking show in Kansas City, Missouri, RENAISSANCE offers an intimate look at Beyoncé’s creative process, her unwavering commitment to perfection, and her determination to craft a legacy that transcends generations. Her extraordinary performances during the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, have served as a sanctuary for freedom, acceptance, and shared joy. With over 2.7 million fans from across the globe attending her performances, Club RENAISSANCE became a destination of pilgrimage for Beyoncé enthusiasts worldwide.

Now, the joyous spectacle that is the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR will come to cinemas, allowing millions of moviegoers to join the “Joy Parade” and celebrate their right to be themselves, all from the comfort of their local theater.

The RENAISSANCE experience will hit thousands of movie theaters, starting on December 1, 2023, in the United States. To accommodate fans’ schedules, the film will be shown on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for a minimum of four weeks, with multiple showtimes throughout the day.

This cinematic masterpiece, titled RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ , is set to premiere on December 1, 2023.

Where can you get tickets?

Tickets for the North American leg of the tour will be available through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program. Tickets will go on sale Monday, Feb 6, with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members, according to a Live Nation press release.

Verified Fan registration is now open. Once you register, you'll be placed in a lottery system that determines which fans get invited to purchase tickets. Registration alone doesn't guarantee tickets. If you're selected, you'll get an access code the day before tickets go on sale. Everyone else will be placed on a waitlist. According to Live Nation, this process is intended to help Ticketmaster weed out the resellers and verify your account so that actual fans get priority to buy tickets.

Citi cardmembers will have a special Citi Presale after the Verified Fan process. Get more details here . Verizon will also offer an exclusive presale through their customer loyalty program Verizon Up .

Will Beyoncé be using Ticketmaster like Taylor Swift to sell tickets?

Yes, but given what happened with Taylor Swift's Eras tour (and the fact it led to Congressional hearings about Ticketmaster ’s practices), it seems very likely both Beyoncé and Ticketmaster would want to avoid repeating that mess. That most likely explains the usage of the Verified Fan system.

Where will Beyoncé be playing?

The Renaissance World Tour will hit 40 cities in North America and across Europe. Stops include Paris, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, and many more.

What has Beyoncé said about the Renaissance World Tour?

She just announced it was happening with a post on February 1. Her website didn't immediately contain any more details. But during the Wearable Art Gala in October 2022, she appeared to confirm it would start this summer, as a backstage tour with her mother Tina Lawson was up for auction at the event.

Will Beyoncé be performing at the Grammys (on February 5) and sharing more tour details there?

Not clear yet, but she is the most nominated artist at the ceremony . On January 21, Variety reported that “ talks with show producers are ongoing for a possible onstage appearance ” by Beyoncé.

What can we expect from the tour on stage?

Beyoncé hasn't shared that yet either, but given the artistry she put into her recent Dubai show , it's fair to say we can expect no less than excellence, elaborate costumes, and an incredible experience.

This post will be updated the moment more detail is released.

Kingdom of Poland Tour

Move back in time to the heart of multicultural poland..

10 – day tour through the historical Kingdom of Poland and other parts of 19th century Poland occupied by Russia (today’s Central and Eastern Poland and Lithuania).

Download the booklet

PO Kingdom of Poland Tour is our newest proposal (offered since 2015), created for those who are deeply interested in the history, culture, and traditions of Poland, especially for those of you who have their family roots in the former Russian partition of Poland , including today’s Lithuania.

It is a ten-day journey in Central and Northeast Poland, and Lithuania. Most of all we will show you how diverse, multicultural, sometimes mysterious and exotic this land used to be! We will show you two capitals: Warsaw and Vilnius, along with the region where the cultures of Polish nobility and peasants, Jews, Karaites , Lithuanians and Tatars intermingled and clashed. We will also see where the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches and Western and Eastern European cultures meet.

DSC01165

You will visit the romantic borderlands of Henryk Sienkiewicz novels, Adam Mickiewicz’s Lithuania, described in his “Sir Thaddeus”, and on to Chopin’s beloved Polish landscapes. We will help you to understand the twists and turns of history, such as the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Russian partition of Poland and the dramatic fate of the Polish people during World War II.

polesie 271

You will see remote villages where time has stopped, old noble manor houses and palaces, and the renaissance architecture of Zamość, Kazimierz Dolny, and Lublin, along with the wild forest reserve filled with Bison and other Central European mammals. Together, we will experience the delicious, local, regional cuisine, and fully experience real Slavic hospitality.

The “Kingdom of Poland” was the name of Poland since the early medieval times. It was also the “Crown of the Kingdom of Poland”, ruled by our king Władysław Jagiełło, during the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It was the time of Poland’s greatest power and influence. After the Napoleonic Wars of 1815 to 1818, this name was used for a Polish land dependent on Russia.

The Kingdom of Poland Tour will enlighten you as to what is really hiding behind all those complicated historical names.

Day 1. Arrival in Warsaw.

We will meet you at the airport or at the hotel. In the afternoon, you will have a guided tour introducing you the capital of Poland with its Old Town and Royal Castle, which was meticulously rebuilt after World War II. It is a n outstanding example of a near-total reconstruction of a span of history covering the 13th to the 20th centuries, and as a result, was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

In the evening, we will enjoy a welcome dinner together.

Accommodation: 4* Hotel in the center of Warsaw .

Day 2.  Warsaw, multicultural, pre-war capital

During most of its history, Warsaw was a multicultural society that included various numbers of Germans, Jews, Ukrainians, and Belorussians. Most of Warsaw’s population were Jews, which made up about 30% of the community! Today, we will visit the Museum of The History of Polish Jews with its core exhibition, presenting the thousand-year history of Polish Jews. We will be immersed in the world of Polish Jews, from their arrival in Poland as traveling merchants in medieval times until today. Later, together we will see Wilanów Palace and Park – a baroque royal residence and favorite place of John III Sobieski, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania .

Accommodation: 4* Hotel in the center of Warsaw.

zdjęcie 10

Day 3. A charm of a little town and the countryside.

zdjęcie 8

Today we will leave Warsaw. Our first stop will be Tykocin, one of the oldest towns in the region, and an important residence of Polish and Lithuanian kings since medieval times. In the evening, we will arrive at our hotel in the Podlasie region, on the crossroads of various cultures and religions.

Accommodation: Hotel in the countryside near Tykocin.

Day 4.  Vilnius – a city between the East and West.

Today we will leave Poland for a while and go to the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, where you will spend the next 2 days.

Vilnius, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has one of the biggest “Old Towns” in Europe (it is three times bigger than Kraków’s Old Town). Vilnius has always been an important cultural center and melting pot.  It had a very specific importance for Poles, Lithuanians, Belarusians and Russians. Because of its large Jewish community, Napoleon named it the “Jerusalem of the North”. We will also follow the Polish paths of Vilnius history. During our guided tour you will visit the famous “Gate of Dawn” (Ostra Brama) and the Giedymin Castle, with its picturesque views of the town and the Wilejka river.

Accommodation: 4* Artagonist Hotel in the center of Vilnius.

Day 5. Trakai, a town built on water, and Karaites minority.

The history of Poland and Lithuania was intertwined for centuries. Maybe some of your relatives have their roots in Lithuania as well? Today we will continue our day in Vilnius and in the afternoon we will visit and hear the story of a castle, more than 600 years old, in Trakai and located on an island.

zamek-w-trokach

A notable feature of Trakai is that the town was built and preserved by people of different nationalities. Historically, communities of Tatars, Lithuanians, Russians, Jews and Poles lived here. You will also learn about the Trakai Karaites minority, resettled here from Crimea, after the military campaigns against the Golden Horde in the 14th century.

Trakai, Karaite house. Picture by Aw58

In the evening you will enjoy the hospitality of the Vilnius people during a dinner at one of the Old Town’s restaurants.

Day 6. Podlasie region: Orthodox culture and exotic Tatars world.

We will leave Vilnius and return to Poland with a short break on the way.

After we cross the border we will visit the Orthodox Monastery in Supraśl, founded in the 16th century. With the passing of the years, the Supraśl Lavra became an important site of Orthodox culture as a result of its large library and lively contacts with other important Orthodox sites, such as the Kiev Lavra and Mount Athos Monastery.

poland renaissance tour

In the afternoon  we will travel to Kruszyniany to show you the oldest wooden Tatar mosque in Poland. Kruszyniany is often called a cultural melting pot because here is where three religions intersected: Catholicism, Islam, and the Orthodox Church.

meczet-w-kruszynianach

After the visit, we will take you to a Tatar household for a dinner with traditional Tatar’s cuisine!

Accommodation: 4* hotel in Białowieża , located at the threshold of Białowieża National Park.

Day 7. Wild nature of Bialowieza Forest.

Today, you will have the opportunity to experience the real wildlife in Białowieża forest. In the morning, we will try to show you the real Bison which often wander into the village. We will also arrive in Hajnówka to visit the Show Reserve of the European bison in the Białowieża National Park.

zdjęcie 5

There will be also some time to take a rest and relax in the hotel’s swimming pool and wellness centre.

Accommodation: 4* hotel in Białowieża, located at the threshold of Białowieża National Park.

Day 8. Lublin, “the gateway to the East”.

After breakfast, we will drive to Lublin. On the way, we will stop in Kozłówka to visit the Zamoyski family residence.

For centuries, Lublin was an attractive, multicultural city, enticing entrepreneurs and providing opportunities for quick profit and enrichment. The city was located at the crossroads of important trade routes: from Poznań and Wrocław to Lviv and further on to the Black Sea. Lublin was also famous for great fairs.

That is why the city attracted not only Poles, Russians, Jews and Germans, but even Scots, Italians, the French, Hungarians and Armenians! In the afternoon, we will invite you for a guided tour of Lublin’s old town, along with the Lublin Castle and its famous Holy Trinity chapel with Byzantine paintings. We will try local cuisine at one of the charming restaurants in the main square.

Accommodation: Hotel in the Old Town Market Square in Lublin.

zdjęcie 3

Day 9.  The charming Roztocze region.

We will invite you to discover rural Poland and the Roztocze National Park: featuring Polish Pony breeding and the natural, wild forest in Florianka. We will then visit the town of Zwierzyniec, with its picturesque chapel on the water, and then the renaissance town of Zamość.

zdjęcie 4

Day 10.  Kazimierz Dolny, the town of artists.

This will be the last day of traveling. We will show you Kazimierz Dolny, one of the most beautifully situated little towns in Poland. Located at the banks of Wisła river, it has been attracting artists, actors and summer residents since the 19th century.

In the afternoon, we will come back to Warsaw to visit the Royal Łazienki Park. This is the largest park in Warsaw, occupying 76 hectares of the city center.  In 18th century it was transformed by King Stanisław August into a setting for palaces, villas, classicist follies and monuments. Today it serves as a public park, a venue for music, the arts and culture.

Beyoncé Fans Are Going to Extreme Lengths to Secure Renaissance Tour Tickets

65th GRAMMY Awards - Show

Beyoncé works hard , but the BeyHive might just be working harder right now. The rush for tickets to Beyoncé’s global Renaissance Tour from her seventh studio album started Feb. 2. And fans are proving they will go to extreme lengths—from spending exuberant amounts of money to snagging tickets in countries halfway across the world—to see the Queen.

Many fans are concerned that Beyoncé’s tour would face similar issues to last fall when Ticketmaster’s inability to handle the huge demand for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour resulted in fans having problems accessing the ticket sale platform, prompting them to look at resale tickets for outrageous prices (up to $8,000.) So far, tickets have been hard to snag to the Renaissance Tour, but it seems to be a result of the sheer demand of eager Beyoncé fans against the limited number of seats available, rather than Ticketmaster being unable to handle the surge. Even before pre-sale tickets became available, Ticketmaster said it was anticipating an 800% more demand than tickets available in Group A cities—like New York, Chicago, Houston, and Washington D.C.—alone.

There have been complaints surfacing the internet on Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing , a system that was first announced in 2011 but started making headlines during the rush for big-name tours last year. It fluctuates prices in real-time according to demand. Ticketmaster says it’s an effort to help real fans buy tickets and keep them off the resale market.

Fans trying to secure Beyoncé tickets are finding that tickets are tripling in price in mere minutes on the ticketing site. Many tickets aren’t cheap—for her Atlanta, Georgia show this summer, VIP tickets are going for as high as $3,500 plus fees. For her hometown Houston show , nosebleeds can still cost you over $150. Ticket seller Vivid Seats estimated that the average price for a ticket to Beyoncé’s last tour in 2016, the Formation Tour, was about $207.

Official Platinum pricing which raises the prices based on demand (ITS BEYONCE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE DEMAND) should be illegal. The Houston show demand is through the roof b/c she's from here. Look at this thread! https://t.co/rciIU5MFoV — BlackGirlsWhoBrunch (@blckgirlbrunch) February 7, 2023

High prices aren’t necessarily discouraging fans. A content creator who goes by “Adrian Xpression” started and promoted a new OnlyFans page on his YouTube page to raise funds. On GoFundMe , there are over 500 pages attempting to fundraise for the event. Organizer Jamaal Anderson crowdsourced funding for Renaissance tickets by explaining, “This is the only life experience I care about living before I die.” He’s raised nearly $500.

Anderson seems likely to join the elite group of Beyoncé fans who can brag “I got Beyoncé tickets” on their social media feed, sparking FOMO from peers who weren’t as lucky.

But the BeyHive aren’t gate-keepers. They’re sharing with one another how they were able to secure their tickets. One tip: use as many devices as possible and log onto Ticketmaster’s queue early. The Beyoncé reddit page, with more than 270,000 members, has fans asking one another for advice on which cities, sections and pre-sales are successful choices each time the next group of tickets are released. There are even videos that breakdown sections of the tour’s stadiums and advice on which areas to purchase from to get as much close contact with the singer during the show. (The “Club Renaissance” floor portion of the stadium seems to be the most coveted by the internet).

@thekalenallen It's officially my second day out here with no Beyoncé tickets and a lot of people have offered to help me, but...section matters! #renaissancetour ♬ original sound - Kalen Allen

The North America leg’s pre-sale registration—which uses a lottery system to provide Verified Fans with access codes to buy tickets—is now closed. The system was not without flaws, as many fans were quick to share they didn’t receive access codes, or if they did, the codes didn’t work .

So far, Group A tour dates have concluded the sales of their staggered presale options: the BeyHive presale, the CitiBank presale and the Verizon presale. For most of these presales, fans needed access to accounts with CitiBank or Verizon to participate, which resulted in those who don’t have access to call on their friends and family members who did to help get them access.

Groups B and C, venues in smaller cities, still can still look forward to their three pre-sales in the coming weeks. For the rest of Tickermaster’s Verified Fans looking for Group A tickets., a general sale starts on Feb. 11.

But for Beyoncé’s most dedicated fans, a trip abroad is proving a better option than standing out from the crowd back home. Some Beyoncé fans in Europe have taken to social media to say they’re not having as hard of a time securing tickets, and that their prices may be cheaper too. American fans have caught on and are beginning to buy Renaissance tickets for her European dates.

One fan tweeted she’d be booking a trip to Stockholm after discovering flights and tickets to Beyoncé’s Stockholm show would be cheaper than a single “Club Renaissance” ticket in D.C. is. A viral tweet with over 45,000 likes quips, “Beyoncé got folks that ain’t ever left their home state before buying Renaissance tickets in Barcelona.” A fan responded to the post explaining, “I’m from Brazil, [I] have never left my hometown before, I got tickets for Frankfurt. I just got my passport yesterday. Beyonce [is] making me actually get up and go out there.” Another fan tweeted that she’s contemplating making the trek to Europe, “Am I insane for buying Beyoncé tickets in Poland? I’ve never been to Poland.”

After further research I discovered that I could fly to Sweden and be in club renaissance for the same price I paid for ONE club renaissance ticket in DC. — scholar of words and letters (@_veelencia) February 9, 2023
@the_real_chi_ Don’t limit yourself to America babe! 😭🫶🏽🤝🏾 #fyp #beyoncetickets #softlife ♬ CUFF IT (WETTER REMIX) - Beyoncé

Not all Beyoncé fans will get to see the Renaissance tour, but in the midst of the frenzy, they can lean on the certainties: the singer has secured her spot as the most awarded artist at the Grammys , she’s released her “CUFF IT” song remix, and is about to drop new clothing from her Ivy Park-Adidas fashion line ( despite reported lackluster sales ). There’s even buzz that she may be dropping her highly anticipated accompanying visuals from her album any day now.

Beyonce Shares Her Two Fabulous Outfits From Poland Renaissance Tour

She’s the ultimate fashion icon and there’s no doubt the ongoing Renaissance World Tour has helped Beyonce maintain this status.

One minute she’s channeling edgy pearl vibes in Germany , the next she’s all about the dramatic metallic effects, and now she’s thrown the sparkling bodysuit into the mix, as always!

Last night, the superstar singer shared on Instagram two looks she just wore for her Renaissance concert at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland, keeping it fabulously high fashion as usual. The first is an intricate nude mini-dress with sparkling crystals and fringes from Elie Saab haute couture — a look she wore with coordinating fishnet tights and pointed-toe perspex heels with crystal-covered ankle straps.

Bey added more glamour to the ensemble with tiny stud earrings, purple eyeshadow, and natural makeup while keeping her signature honey-blonde hair was given the center-parted style.

Beyonce’s second look for the night was entirely different but of course, with some sparkles. We are talking about a sparkling water green corseted bodysuit, featuring metallic sequins, and 3D embroidery sculptural, which she wore with matching boots. The carousel of images shows other photos of the 41-year-old star suspended in the air, one of which she’s on top of a holographic horse, leaving her excited fans screaming for more.

The Poland Renaissance tour will continue tonight June 28 at the same venue to officially round-up with the European phase of the tour, after which the Break My Soul singer will fly back to North America to excite her fans with the first stop on the 8th of July 2023, in Toronto, Canada.

Beyoncé Announces Renaissance World Tour 2023 with Stops in 25 U.S. Cities

The "Crazy in Love" singer confirmed the hugely anticipated stadium tour on Instagram Wednesday morning

poland renaissance tour

Beyoncé is back, baby!

The singer, who is up for nine Grammys this Sunday , revealed her Renaissance World Tour 2023 on Wednesday morning in an Instagram post — coincidentally, (or perhaps, very strategically!) six years to the day she announced her surprise pregnancy with twins .

The highly anticipated tour — produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation — is set to kick off in Europe on May 10 at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden before touring overseas in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Paris, London, Marseille, Amsterdam, Warsaw and more.

A North American leg of the tour begins on July 8 in Toronto, Canada before hitting 25 U.S. cities including Philadelphia, Nashville, Louisville, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, East Rutherford, Boston, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami, St. Louis, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Inglewood, Vancouver, Seattle, Kansas City, Dallas, and Houston.

The tour is currently scheduled to wrap on Sept. 27 in New Orleans.

For complete ticket information, visit tour.beyonce.com .

Beyonce's last tour was 2018's On the Run tour which hit 48 cities in North America and Europe. Beyoncé last performed a full concert back in 2018, when she and JAY-Z, 53, appeared at the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 event .

The tour announcement comes just over one week after Queen Bey performed her first full concert in more than four years, when she performed an hour-long set at the new Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai.

For more on Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour announcement, listen below to our daily podcast PEOPLE Every Day.

Moving through a decade of iconic hits, Beyoncé, 41, performed staples such as "Crazy in Love," "Beautiful Liar" and "Naughty Girl," as well as more recent tunes including "Freedom," "Spirit" and "Be Alive."

The singer wore a set of dazzling looks during the performance, including a yellow custom-made Atelier Zuhra corseted dress, which was topped with a feathered skirt and matching backpiece, when she opened the show performing a cover of Etta James ' "At Last."

Then, the mother of three changed into another custom gown, an all-red Nicolas Jebran ensemble composed of a skin-tight bodysuit that was decorated with gold jewels across her torso and chest. She accessorized the look with a matching, billowing skirt and an intricate headpiece.

Notably missing from Beyoncé's set was any song from Renaissance .

Renaissance , which has been billed as the first of a three-part project , marks Beyoncé's first solo album in six years.

She previously released Dangerously in Love (2003), B'Day (2006), I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008), 4 (2011), Beyoncé (2013) and Lemonade (2016), following her tenure with Destiny's Child . Beyoncé also appeared on the 2018 collaborative album Everything Is Love with husband JAY-Z , as well as 2019's The Lion King: The Gift , a soundtrack for Disney's live-action adaptation that features original music by the artist.

A visual album for Renaissance has been previously teased , but no release date for it yet has been announced.

Poland’s president becomes the latest leader to visit Donald Trump as allies eye a possible return

NEW YORK (AP) — Former President Donald Trump met Wednesday in New York with Polish President Andrzej Duda , the latest in a series of meetings with foreign leaders as Europe braces for the possibility of a second Trump term.

The presumptive Republican nominee hosted Duda at Trump Tower, where the two discussed the war in Ukraine and Duda’s push to boost NATO members’ defense spending, according to a readout from Trump’s campaign. Duda, who has long expressed admiration for Trump, is also a staunch supporter of Ukraine and has encouraged Washington to provide more aid to Kyiv amid Russian’s ongoing invasion . That funding has been held up by Trump allies in Congress.

As he arrived, Trump praised the Polish president, saying, “He’s done a fantastic job and he’s my friend.”

“We had four great years together,” Trump added. “We’re behind Poland all the way.”

Following the almost 2 1/2 hour meeting, Duda said only that it was a “friendly meeting in very nice atmosphere.”

His aide, Wojciech Kolarski, also in attendance, described it as an “excellent meeting” of “two friends who reminisced on the time when for four years they cooperated while holding presidential offices,” a time that was “very fruitful for Polish-U.S. relations.”

Poland's President Andrej Duda speaks during a joint media conference with Lithuania's President Gitanas Nauseda during the Lithuanian-Polish Brave Griffin 24/II military exercise near the Suwalki Gap close to the Polish border at the Dirmiskes village, Alytus district west of the capital Vilnius in Lithuania on Friday, April 26, 2024. The week-long military exercise which started April 22, is to test a defense scenario on the bilateral so-called “Orsha” plan to defend the Suwałki Gap, a corridor of almost 100 kilometers (62 miles) between the two NATO members Poland and Lithuania. (AP Photo/Mindaugas Kulbis)

Duda is the latest foreign leader to meet with Trump in the weeks since he locked up the Republican nomination. U.S. allies across the world were caught off guard by Trump’s surprise 2016 win, forcing them to scramble to build relationships with a president who often attacked longstanding treaties and alliances they valued. Setting up meetings with him during the 2024 campaign suggests they don’t want to be behind again.

Even as he goes on trial for one of the four criminal indictments against him, Trump and Democratic President Joe Biden are locked in a rematch that most observers expect will be exceedingly close in November.

While some in Poland worried the visit might damage the country’s relationship with Biden, Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn. — a Biden ally and a major voice in his party on foreign affairs — said such meetings make sense.

“The polls are close,” he said. “If I were a foreign leader — and there’s a precedent attached to meeting with candidates who are nominated or on the path to being nominated — I’d probably do it too.”

Murphy noted that former President Barack Obama did a lengthy international tour and met with foreign leaders when he first ran for the White House. So did Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, who challenged Obama in 2012 and whose trip included a stop in Poland’s capital, Warsaw.

Duda’s visit comes a week after Trump met with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, another NATO member and key proponent of supporting Ukraine, at the former president’s Florida estate.

In March, Trump hosted Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán , an autocrat who has maintained the closest relationship with Russia among European Union countries. Orbán shared a montage of footage of the visit on his Instagram feed, which included an image of him and his staff meeting with Trump and the former president’s aides in a scene that looked like an official bilateral meeting.

Trump also met briefly in February with Javier Milei, the fiery, right-wing populist president of Argentina who ran a campaign inspired by Trump , complete with red “Make Argentina Great Again” hats. Milei gave Trump an excited hug backstage at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference outside Washington, according to video posted by a Trump campaign aide.

Biden administration officials have been careful not to weigh in publicly on foreign leaders’ meetings with Trump, acknowledging he has a real chance of winning the race.

While some officials have privately expressed frustration with such meetings, they are mindful that any criticism would open the U.S. to charges of hypocrisy because senior American officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, meet frequently with foreign opposition figures at various forums in the United States and abroad.

Security and policy officials monitor the travel plans of foreign officials visiting the U.S., but generally don’t have a say in where they go or with whom they meet, according to an administration official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss protocol.

Trump has been back in his hometown this week for the start of his criminal hush money trial , which has dramatically limited his ability to travel and campaign. While in town, aides have been planning a series of events that began Tuesday evening when Trump, after court adjourned, stopped by a Harlem bodega where a man was killed to rail against crime, and to blast the district attorney who made him the first former president in U.S. history to stand criminal trial.

Duda, a right-wing populist who once proposed naming a military base in his country “Fort Trump,” described the dinner earlier Wednesday as a private get-together between friends at Trump’s former residence while he is in town for meetings at the United Nations, where Duda is to deliver a speech.

“I have been invited by Mr. Donald Trump to his private apartment,” Duda told reporters, saying it was “a normal practice when one country has good relations with another country” to want those relations to be as strong as “possible with the representatives of various sides of the political stage.”

“We know each other as people. Like two, I can say in some way, friends,” said Duda, whose term ends in 2025.

Duda’s visit comes as House Republicans wrangle over a $95 billion foreign aid bill that would provide new funding to Ukraine, including money for the U.S. military to replace depleting weapon supplies. Polish leaders have been urging the House to approve the aid bill and ease domestic concerns.

Many Trump allies in the House are fiercely opposed to aiding Ukraine, even as the country warns that it is struggling amid a fresh Russian offensive . Trump has said he might be open to aid in the form of a loan.

One area where Trump and Duda agree when it comes to the conflict is a desire to push NATO members to increase their defense spending. Duda has called on fellow members of the alliance to raise their spending to 3% of gross domestic product as Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine. That would represent a significant increase from the current commitment of 2% by 2024.

Trump, in a stunning break from U.S. precedent, has long been critical of the Western alliance and has threatened not to defend member nations that do not hit that spending goal. That threat strikes at the heart of the alliance’s Article 5 , which states that any attack against one NATO member will be considered an attack against all.

In February, Trump went even further, recounting that he’d once told leaders that he would “encourage” Russia to “do whatever the hell they want” to members that are — in his words — “delinquent.”

Trump’s campaign said the two discussed the NATO proposal during the meeting. The two also discussed Israel and the Middle East, Trump’s 2017 trip to Warsaw, “and many other topics having to do with getting to world peace,” the campaign said in its readout, which described the men as “great friends.”

The visit was met with mixed reaction in Poland , where fears of Russia run high and Duda’s friendly relationship with Trump has been a source of controversy.

Poland’s centrist Prime Minister Donald Tusk, a political opponent of Duda, was critical of the dinner but expressed hope that Duda would use it as an opportunity “to raise the issue of clearly siding with the Western world, democracy and Europe in this Ukrainian-Russian conflict.”

Scislowska reported from Warsaw. Associated Press writers Matthew Lee, Zeke Miller and Seung Min Kim in Washington contributed to this report.

Seven hotels earned at least one MICHELIN Key in Washington D.C.

Washington D.C. MICHELIN Keys Travel Hotels

poland renaissance tour

On April 24, 2024, the MICHELIN Guide announced its very first Key hotels in the United States — a brand new distinction recognizing the most outstanding hotels in the country. We're thrilled to report that, in Washington D.C., seven hotels earned at least One Key. And while hotels in the capital have historically skewed towards the traditional, our seven Key hotels run the gamut of styles. Among the newest and hippest, the Eaton DC sports a boho aesthetic and a firm commitment to a progressive ethos — this hotel, set downtown on K Street, is a launchpad for progress, where rotating art exhibits fill the first floor and activists and political groups make use of its radio station, screening room, and co-working space. Representing the more traditional luxury hotels, the Hay Adams has been an institution — set in a monumental Italian Renaissance building just across from the White House — since 1928. Here, the feeling is of old-world elegance. Between the Eaton and the Hay Adams, we find the rest of our Key hotels somewhere in the stylistic middle. For waterfront views try the Pendry , with its modernist, Parisian-influenced aesthetic set on the Potomac in the city’s Southwest Waterfront. Or head to Georgetown and the Rosewood , where vistas from the rooftop bar overlook the C&O Canal. Other highlights: the  Dupont Circle Hotel , one of the only hotels privileged enough to set up in Dupont Circle, with its sophisticated restaurant and a swanky cocktail bar. The Jefferson , another option downtown, has the Quill, an upscale cocktail bar and lounge in its historic building dating back to 1923. At the Riggs , in the city’s Penn Quarter, there’s both an enchanting cafe and a subterranean bar. You can hardly go wrong. Below, explore the map of every Key hotel in Washington D.C.
