Street Fighter 6: The Best Ways To Farm Zenny in World Tour

Street Fighter 6 World Tour players are gonna need a lot of Zenny, the game's currency. Here are some of the best ways to earn it.

Street Fighter 6 has been released, and it's been getting a lot of love in its reviews from both fans and critics. Many are calling it not just one of the best fighting games in recent memory, but also arguably the best Street Fighter game there's ever been. Front and center of what a lot of people are loving about this game is the new World Tour Mode.

World Tour Mode is like one long, extended tutorial with a solid plot and even some RPG elements. These are designed to ease in new players who might not have much experience with the fighting game genre. It doesn't, however, hold these new players' hands. Instead, it gives them the tools to succeed on their own. There is a lot to be done in World Tour Mode, such as unlocking Ken's Fighting Style , or finding various cosmetics to craft a unique character design. As such, players are going to need to get their hands on a lot of Zenny, the currency of this game's universe. Here are a few tips on the best ways to earn it fast.

Completing Optional Objectives in World Tour Mode

As players work their way through the World Tour Mode, they may notice the vast majority of random battle encounters they face have optional bonus objectives. These bonus objectives include things such as using a specific move or combo, or winning the fight within a certain time limit. Each one comes with its own reward upon completion. Players can see what these bonus objectives entail and what their rewards will be by pausing the game at the start of each fight, and from there, they can determine which ones to go for. Often, these rewards include experience boosts, useful items, or even just a handful of Zenny for the player's pockets.

Exploring Every Corner of the World Tour

There are several chests that players can find and open all across the World Tour Mode , each with green and orange coloring and marked "SiRN". These chests can contain a fair chunk of Zenny, as well as healing items and cosmetic clothing that will help the player save their Zenny for other things. Additionally, it's entirely possible to just find small piles of Zenny just lying around on the ground, especially during the night. These chests and random money piles can often be found down hard-to-find alleyways or even on rooftops, so players should be prepared to explore as much as they can.

Use Food To Boost Income During the World Tour

Eating food in World Tour Mode grants the player's character some bonus temporary buffs depending on what they've just eaten. In the Metro City area, if players eat the cereal Corn Flex, they get a decent-sized boost to their income for five minutes. In the Old Nayshall area, this same boost comes instead from Nayshali Bread. Using either of these meals in conjunction with other money-grinding methods vastly improves that method's effectiveness.

Part-Time Job Mini-Games in World Tour Are Infinitely Repeatable

By far, the absolute best way to earn Zenny quickly is to find part-time jobs across the World Tour Mode. When the player accepts one of these jobs, they are taken to a quick mini-game that will give them a fair amount of Zenny upon completion, and they can replay that mini-game as often as they'd like with no diminishing returns. The best of these part-time job mini-games is Scrap Heap, which can be found in a place called Abigail's Scrap Metal, near the Southern end of Metro City.

Scrap Heap becomes available to the player during Chapter Three, and only requires players to destroy a truck as quickly as they can -- a task that becomes easier as the player's character grows stronger. Scrap Metal can grant the player as much as 2,500 Zenny on each attempt if they can destroy the truck within 15 seconds. Scrap Metal and other part-time job mini-games can be found by looking for brown "Z" icons all across the map.

Fastest ways to make Zeny in Street Fighter 6 World Tour cover image

Fastest ways to make Zeny in Street Fighter 6 World Tour

Michael Hassall

Michael Hassall

There’s more to Street Fighter 6’s World Tour than beating people up. Well… not really, but also you can earn Zeny, and here’s the best ways!

In Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode, Zeny is the primary in-game currency used to buy food, costumes, gifts for Masters, and other things. But what’s the best way to earn Zeny? Luckily we have some good ways to grind SF6’s World Tour currency.

Best ways to make Zeny in Street Fighter 6 World Tour

There are literally dozens of ways to make Zeny in Street Fighter 6, but we’d say the three fastest ways are as follows:

Explore the rooftops and hidden areas

Check rooftops and trucks for free Zeny (Image via esport.gg)

While you’re exploring, you’ll occasionally find Zeny on the ground. But if you look in the right places, you can find hundreds of thousands of Zeny just lying around! The best place for this is the rooftops in Metro City, especially around the Hong Hu Men Area of Metro City, near Chun-Li’s location in Chinatown. Simply use Master Actions to navigate the awnings and rooftops to earn hundreds of Zeny

Beat up random punks on the street

Random punks drop Zeny in Street Fighter 6 World Tour (Image via esport.gg)

Random people who try to attack you are actually a great source of income. Many of these punks have hundreds of Zeny, and some will trigger bonus drops of Zeny if you defeat them quickly or with Specials. Just knock the Zeny out of them! It’s pretty easy, and it’s quick.

You can sell items for lots of Zeny in SF6 (Image via esport.gg)

You’ll pick up plenty of sellable and not-so-useful items in World Tour. Things like Bronze ingots and other materials that specifically say they’re for selling bring lots of Zeny, and we recommend selling them as soon as possible. Also, if you find you’re not using some of the healing stuff, just sell it. Honestly, healing is pretty easy in World Tour; you probably won’t need the items.

Complete Sub Missions for extra Zeny

You can get thousands of Zeny for completing Street Fighter 6's sub missions (Image via esport.gg)

Side Missions will give you good Zeny as a reward, and usually, if you’re beating people up in the mission, they’ll drop Zeny as well. You might find yourself accidentally over-leveling the challenge in the story if you do too many side missions, but you’ll also be a zeny-illionaire, so who cares!

Play the Mini Games for load of Zeny

We found destroying the Truck to be the best way to earn Zeny in Street Fighter 6 World Tour (Image via esport.gg)

The Mini Games in Street Fighter 6 World Tour are some of the most-lucrative Zeny earners around. We found the truck destruction mission in the Scrap Heap from Junkyard Smallz to be the easiest and best earner. By destroying the truck in just a few seconds, you can earn around 3000-4000 Zeny a time. And it can be repeated infinitely. We quickly earned enough Zeny to buy presents to unlock Outfit 2 for several Masters.

How to unlock Cammy as a Master in Street Fighter 6 World Tour

Cammy is one of Street Fighter 6’s most dangerous femme fatales, and we’re giving you the low-down on making her your Master in World Tour!

SF6 World Tour Guide: Best gear, money and EXP by chapter - Technobubble Gaming

Here are recommendations for gear, where to farm money and experience, plus chest locations in street fighter 6’s world tour mode..

sf6 world tour easy money

Want to start Street Fighter 6’s World Tour right?

This Technobubble Gaming guide will get you on the right track by showing the best gear for starting the game as well as the best options for farming money (i.e. zenny) and experience depending where you are in the game.

SF6 Modern Controls Guide: All Missing Normals, Unique Attacks and More

Also, check out the embedded video for item chest locations as well.

Now let’s talk gear.

The best early gear for Street Fighter 6 World Tour

In addition to boosting your stats, some gear also come with special perks such as boosting Drive gauge recovery or reducing incoming damage, for example.

For the early game, the best gear can be acquired through a mix of exploration, acquiring them from mobs by fulfilling specific conditions during a fight, or getting them as rewards. Well, that and tapping your capitalistic side and just outright buying them at the store.

Here are some of the best gear that will tide you ever until the second area of Metro City opens up at Chapter 7.

From Beat Plaza, head west past Faith Avenue to Beat Street until you see a ladder underneath Greedy Grill restaurant, which has a picture of a bear holding wieners on  a skewer.

More: Is Street Fighter 6 for casuals or hardcore players?

Climb up the ladder and you’ll see a chest that has the Knit Beanie Alpha . This headpiece has better stats than the Street Cap that you buy earlier as part of the story. Don’t forget to talk to the Watcher to get an Elixir and also climb the next ladder to get a permanent Punch Booster item.

Next up, follow the Skywalk Lane all the way south to Bayside Park. Just down from the stairs, you will see three trash cans next to a lamppost and fire hydrant. I’m not sure if this is a fixed or random drop but when I destroyed it, I got a Sports Visor , which has slightly better stats than the Knit Beanie. The visor also becomes available at the Drippin’ Style shop when you get to Chapter 2. The Sports Visor should be your best option until Chapter 4.

From here, walk around and go underneath the stairs by the purplish blue flowers to find a chest with the Square Glasses . This accessory comes with the Aware skill, which momentarily gives you Outgoing Damage Boost (M) when your Drive Gauge gets depleted. Use this to replace your Training Gloves.

Now it’s time to get you a new shirt. The best option stat-wise at this point in the game is the Oversized Shirt Beta , which drops from several folks in the Downtown South Area basketball court near the Skywalk. It’s a bit tricky to get since you must defeat its wearer without taking damage but if you get the shirt, you’re pretty much good until the next section of Metro City opens up in Chapter 7. By the way, you can check a fighter’s drops and the requirements to get them by walking up to them and pressing the appropriate button (Triangle for PlayStation and Y for XBOX). Otherwise, you can pause the game mid-fight as well to bring up the drop requirements.

If you’re having trouble getting the black oversized shirt, a good alternative is the white Casual Dress Shirt Beta that also drops from some of the fighters in the same place as the black shirt. In my case, it only required me to hit the enemies that carried it with three low attacks. The stats are a bit lower but it’s still solid. By the way, you can hold on to your spares, which you can customize by changing colors or using as enhancement material once you reach Chapter 7. Also be on the lookout for Rough Riders in this same area. They can carry the Leather Jacket Alpha , which they drop if you land a successful attack or throw when they glow white. It has one less point of Defense than the black oversized shirt. But it’s great for customizing your style via the change Appearance option, which lets you use the look of a gear you’ve acquired while actually equipping a different piece of gear with better stats.

For pants, you get your best early option at the Drippin’ Style shop once you reach Chapter 2. This would be the Chino Pants , which have a higher defense than the other pants options at this point in the game. You won’t get a better option until maybe Chapter 6 and these pants have higher defense than the Denim Jeans that drop from enemies at this point.

The new stock at Drippin’ Style should also include the Riding Boots . This should be your best footwear option at this point and it will last you until Chapter 7.

You can also buy the Wireless Headphones at this point, which gives the Enlightened skill. This provides the Drive Gauge Regen Rate Boost (L) skill but it also comes with a penalty called Incoming Damage Boost (S).

For a safer option, the Chapter 2 boss in Chinatown also drops the Boston Glasses , which comes with the Focus I skill that gives Drive Gauge Regen Rate Boost (S). By this point, I unlocked my second accessory slot as well. Granted, you’ll look like a doofus if you decide to wear two glasses at the same time but you can hide the second one via the Appearance menu. Enemies can drop these glasses as well.

Once you get to Chapter 4, you’ll be able to get your next new headgear. Open up your map and look for a subquest called Safety First . This quest involves some construction workers and will reward you with the Safety Helmet . In addition to having better stats, this also comes with the Rock Solid skill, which activates the Incoming Damage Cut (XL) ability once per battle.

Chapter 5, meanwhile, gives you a subquest involving Retsu. Retsu will drop the Gold Chain Necklace accessory, which gives you 15 extra points for your Throw Strength stat. It also comes with the Throws I skill, which gives you the Throw Strength Boost (S)

Once you get to Chapter 6 you can acquire an accessory called the Thigh High Socks - Bordered . This comes with the Defense I ability, which provides the skill Incoming Damage Cut (S). This is a great accessory to pair with the Wireless Headphones since it helps address the headphones’  incoming damage boost penalty. You can get the Thigh High Socks - Bordered as a drop from Merchant Hawker in the Brazil stage. In my case, it required landing a 10-hit combo, which you can easily do by hitting him with Chun-Li’s Hoyoku-sen lightning kick super.

This is also where you can acquire the full Blanka-chan costume by talking to Blanka and agreeing to be his Jungle Sprite double. This has to be worn as a full set so you can't wear any other gear but it provides the best overall stats at this point, especially for Punch, Kick and Unique Attack Strength. This set can tide you through a good portion of World Tour and can even be upgraded so I recommend using it and just layering the look you want.

Once you reach Chapter 7, you’ll unlock the second area of Metro City, which comes with new enemy groups as well as a new store with more powerful gear, though the Blanka-chan outfit is still a great option that lasts you a good while as I mentioned.

Best way to earn money early in Street Fighter 6

CHAPTER 1-6

Mini-games are your best source of grinding money early on and the hands down best option is the Junkyard Smalls’ Scrap Heap game.

For starters, it’s way easier than the other two early games you get access to. It also gives way more money than Hado Pizza and is also a lot easier to consistently earn a good amount of money in a short amount of time than Board Breaker Ren’s Kung Fu Target game.

All you need to do is switch on Modern Controls and spam your Chun-Li style’s Assisted Combo with the Heavy Attack button for an easy 3,000 zenny per run on the mini-game’s Easy Mode. Another easy option is spamming Luke’s Rising Uppercut via his fighting style, though it doesn’t hit quite as hard.

Either way, not bad for less than a minute of work.

Junkyard Smalls is located north of Chinatown. So basically just head west from the Chinatown gate and then go all the way north to reach him. You can’t miss him if you use your map.

The best way to earn experience for leveling up early in Street Fighter 6

You can earn experience a couple of ways in Street Fighter 6.

One is by sparring with the citizens, especially those that drop boosted experience if you fulfill their battle info goals. The other way is by fighting gang mobs.

Sparring with citizens can take longer since not all citizens provide extra dropped experience so you have to look around. I do recommend sparring with students of masters you have enrolled with, however, since they’re a great way of boosting your affinity level for a specific Master, too. Speaking of Masters, they can give good experience, too, when they offer to spar with you when you reach certain levels of affinity with them.

As far as early quick leveling, though, hanging out in places with waves of gang members is a great way to rack up those levels quickly, provided you survive said waves. One of the best places early on is the alley and wire fenced area just below the skyway where you get the oversized black T-shirt drop mentioned earlier. I actually got ambushed here while farming gear drops and after clearing multiple waves, I jumped from Level 7 to Level 15 very quickly. In some cases, I was getting more than 800 experience per wave, which is the same amount you get from your early spars with Masters like Chun-Li.

Otherwise, the parking lot on South Street has some high-level enemies, as does the Westbay Promenade area near Chinatown.

How to Farm Money in Street Fighter 6

Davi Braid

You need cash to purchase gifts and clothes in Street Fighter 6, but it can take a while to gather a sufficient amount.

Fortunately, there are ways to obtain zenny in this game, but which one is more effective?

After attempting various methods, we’ve found a way to farm money in Street Fighter 6 quickly and easily.

Locate the Scrap Heap Minigame

sf6 world tour easy money

Find Junkyard Smallz to initiate the Scrappy Metal Minigame. It shouldn’t be too hard to locate.

This place is a reference to Street Fighter 5’s Abigail and Street Fighter 2’s bonus stage. It is located to the south of Beat Square.

Be careful when going to this place since you might be attacked by members of the Mad Gear gang.

sf6 world tour easy money

Once you’re finally there, you can talk to Junkyard Smallz to finally start beating up some trucks.

Initially, you will only be able to play it on easy mode, but this is more than sufficient. If you continuously hit the truck with a heavy attack on Easy, you can quickly destroy the truck.

If you have Ken’s and Marisa’s styles, be sure to utilize Ken’s medium punch to heavy punch target combo and then cancel it into Marisa’s special kick, Quadriga.

By doing this, you will manage to destroy the truck in less than 10 seconds, earning about 5,000 zenny each time you play this minigame.

In about a minute, you will have accumulated over 30,000 zenny.

This should be enough to accomplish a lot when you are starting the World Tour. Harder modes of Scrap Heap will be unlocked later at Abigail’s Scrap Metal.

These modes will grant you more money if you successfully destroy the truck, but it will be slightly more challenging since the trucks will have more weak spots.

Alternatively, you can make decent money by breaking boards near Chun-Li’s location, but it probably won’t be as fast as assisting Junkyard Smallz.

What to Do Next?

Most masters will be thankful after you gift them with pretty much anything. That said, some gifts grant more bond points than others. For instance, Ken Masters loves cook books for some reason.

It might be a good idea for you to check which master you want to bond with or whose alternative costume you want to unlock.

That way, you might be able to spend all that zenny on more than just clothes for your avatar.

How to earn Miles in Street Fighter 6 World Tour mode

Image of Chris Penwell

Not as easy as Air Miles

“Miles” in Street Fighter 6  help your character get back to their feet after a loss. They’re essential if you’re struggling against your opponents during the single-player World Tour campaign, providing you with vital Continues in tougher battles. Thankfully, they can be easily earned throughout the open world of Metro City and other locations in the game.

Here’s how to earn extra Miles in Street Fighter 6 .

What are Miles in Street Fighter 6?

Miles help earn you Continues for tough battles in the game. With every 10,000 Miles you earn, you unlock one continue . They’re used to instantly bring back your character to life, similar to beat-em-up games like Final Fight . This way, you can continue the battle against tougher opponents, without them receiving a full replenishment of life bar. Handy for those Level 50+ fighters.

Street Fighter 6 character details to earn Miles

Finishing challenges to earn Miles

You earn Miles for almost everything you do, progressing the story, engaging in fights, heck, even just jumping over railings and cars gives you a handful of Miles, but there are more consistent ways.

One of the best ways to earn Miles in  Street Fighter 6  is by finishing objectives set by random people on the street. You can go up to anyone and fight them. Before you do that, check their Details. They seem to be randomized. For Lao Mao near Chun-Li in Chinatown, you’ll need to hit the character with eight and 15 punches to get a total of 1,350 Miles. You can also earn other rewards, such as Zenny, Elixirs, and clothing, dependent on the opponent and their objectives.

While running around Metro City, make sure to check each character’s Details to see if you can earn a lot of Miles with them. Clothes such as the Jiangshi Outfit and the Thigh High Socks can improve your stats dramatically. Don’t sleep on the various effects that wardrobe items add to your character.

Missions in Street Fighter 6

Destroying objects and completing missions

As you’re battling all over the open environments, look out for breakable objects too. You can earn Miles just by bashing them with a special move like Rising Uppercut or the Spinning Bird Kick. This is hardly an optimal way to get Miles, however, as they only drop between 5-20 Miles each. However, there can be also items inside like Energy Drinks, so let the demolition commence.

Another way to earn Miles is by finishing story chapters and missions. Look at the “Missions” menu and select the task. It will come up with the goal at hand and the Completion Rewards to the right. For example, the “Learnin’ in the City” mission gives you a reward of 7,000 Miles.

An important way to boost the number of Miles you gain comes from learning The Traveler Skill . This is located in your skill tree, accessed via the in-game phone. It costs a huge nine points but this Skill will certainly increase the number of Miles you gain from every task you complete in Street Fighter 6 . Additionally, if you want to gain more items from winning a battle, then the Scrounger Skill is also worth investing in.

Street Fighter 6: World Tour - Chapter 11 Walkthrough

Chapter 11 of World Tour mode is one of the longest and features one or two tough battles that will put players' Street Fighter 6 skills to the test.

Quick Links

Chapter 11 - 1: repping metro city walkthrough, chapter 11 - 2: the crows' nest walkthrough, chapter 11 - 3: recruitment drive walkthrough, chapter 11 - 4: to evil's zenith walkthrough.

Chapter 11 is one of the longer World Tour mode chapters , clocking in at around the one-hour mark. It also features one or two fairly challenging fights, meaning that some Street Fighter 6 players may need to spend a bit of time grinding out a few extra levels or upgrading their gear, particularly if they've been neglecting these things up to this point.

RELATED: Street Fighter 6: The Best Master Gifts in World Tour Mode

Despite its length and challenging nature, though, Chapter 11 of World Tour mode can still be a lot of fun, with players introduced to a few new characters here and also getting to explore another brand-new location. With only a few chapters remaining after this one, Street Fighter 6 players should aim to enjoy the experience while they still can.

To get the ball rolling, players will need to speak with Thrasher in Metro City. He can only be found at night, so players should head to the Hangout and change the time of day if needed. From there, they'll want to head around the corner past the police station, and up to the rooftop where they first encountered Thrasher back in Chapter 4 . He'll agree to let them represent the Mad Gear gang at the upcoming tournament, but only if they deal with a rival gang first.

After speaking with Thrasher, players should talk to Mad Gear Tequilla, who is standing nearby and reveals that the Crows' hideout is on the west side of Metro City. Players should head there next and then talk to the NPC named Crows Burungak at the gate in order to gain entrance. Players will be ambushed not long after they make their way inside, after which, they'll be introduced to the Crows' leader, Rudra.

Rudra suggests a team battle between Mad Gear and The Crows to decide who gets to rep Metro City in the tournament. Players will then need to return to Thrasher, who seems happy to accept Rudra's challenge. Unfortunately, however, Mad Gear doesn't have too many great fighters , meaning that the player will need to head out and recruit three skilled combatants before the team battle can take place.

The "Recruitment Drive" main story mission sees players returning to Nayshall, where they'll need to make their way toward Mount Vashal. The only way to get there right now is via the Lowlands, by heading across the metal pipe near the entrance and then across a wooden plank. Players will soon come to an NPC named Bao, but, after speaking with him, it soon becomes clear that he isn't a good fit for the team fight.

Soon after, players will run into a mysterious fighter known as the Cardboard Combatant. They'll need to beat him in a two-round battle, which may prove to be a little tricky for some players. He hits like a truck and can melt through the player's health bar like a hot knife through butter if he's allowed to really get going. As with the Rewancha fight in Chapter 7 , though, he can be dealt with fairly easily by blocking his attacks and then following up with powerful Punish Counters.

Once they've dealt with the Cardboard Combatant, players should head back down the mountain to trigger a message from Thrasher. He'll make some suggestions as to who they should recruit, with players able to choose who the second and third members of the Mad Gear team will be. Unfortunately, it really doesn't matter who they pick here, so they should just speak with Damini in the Central Bazaar area and then head back to London to recruit Violet. They can then return to Thrasher, who reveals that he will be the fourth member of the team.

Now that they have a full team, players should return to the Crows' hideout at night. They'll need to climb their way to the tallest rooftop, either defeating or fleeing from all of the Crows members that they encounter along the way. The good news is that these gang members do not respawn, so if players need to leave to go and buy some healing items from Shopkeeper Udon in the Urban Park area, they can do so without having to start their ascent from scratch.

When they do arrive at the tallest rooftop, players should watch the first three fights and then speak with Rudra to trigger the final one-on-one showdown. This will probably end up being the player's toughest World Tour mode match so far, as Rudra uses Dhalsim's fighting style , which is somewhat difficult to counter as it requires players to go on the offensive, leaving them vulnerable to hard-hitting counters. Thankfully, there are a few strategies that can really help here.

Rudra is an excellent ranged fighter , so players should aim to get in close where possible. Unfortunately, jumping and dashing are ill-advised here due to his stretchable limbs and fireball attacks, but Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick and Ryu's Tatsumaki Senpukyaku can help players to close the gap quickly, and, for the most part, safely. Once they do get in close, Manon's Manege Dore Special can be incredibly effective and grows stronger with each use. Of course, players can also use consumables to heal up as and when needed.

After beating Rudra, players will need to return to Nayshall and speak with Punch at the Lowlands arena. Doing so will bring an end to the "To Evil's Zenith" main story mission, with players getting 7,000 Miles and two Street Fiber (Torso) upgrade items as a reward. They'll then need to find Yua in the Central Bazaar area of Old Nayshall, as it's only after speaking with her that players will unlock the first part of Chapter 12, "Kalima of the Resistance."

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
