Geevon 22116 Accurate Atomic Alarm Clock

AUTOMATICALLY SETS: By radio communication with its built-in antenna, the modern small digital clock regularly updates the hour, minute, and second of the day for continued accuracy from its source, the United States Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado.

Just select your time zone at the setting buttons of the digital travel alarm clock. Additionally, the small travel clock adjusts automatically for Daylight Savings Time (ON/OFF option)in the spring and fall.

7 Time Zones:-4(AST), -5(EST), -6(CST), -7(MST), -8(PST), -9(AKST), -10(HST)

BATTERY OPERATED - (Requires 2 x AA battery - not included)

Tips:Please note that in order to prevent reception interference, all buttons are temporarily unavailable when the atomic clock is receiving the signal (the whole process may last 1-2 minutes)

Once the atomic clock receives the signal, Everything is back to normal.

Auto Light Function

When it is in darkness, the small travel clock triggers a soft nightlight to illuminate the display automatically after the switch is flipped to "ON"

The backlight can also be manually operated (8 Seconds)

About Auto Set Feature

The time of 7 time zone in the United States are downloaded to the clock. All you need to do is selecting your local time zone and turn ON/OFF the daylight saving time function. You are good to go, no other settings needed.

Important Placement Guidelines

• To ensure accurate temperature measurement, place small atomic clock of direct sunlight and away from any heat sources orvents.

• In order to well receive the atomic signal, place units away from large metallic items, thick walls, metal surfaces, or other objects that may limit the reception.

• In 12 hour format, an "AM" or "PM" sign will appear to indicate morning or evening hours.
• Temperature appears after a few seconds when you power on the alarm clock.
• Hold down SET Date . The digits of month, date and year flash.
• Continue holding SET Date and press HOUR/ Month , MIN/Date , or 12/24/Year to change the month, date, and year.
• Release SET Date to confirm.
• Hold down SET Time . The hour and minute digits flash.
• Continue holding SET Time and press HOUR/ Month , MIN/Date , or 12/24/Year to select the time and hour format.
• Release SET Time to confirm
• Hold down SET Alarm . The hour and minute digits flash.
• Continue holding down SET Alarm and press HOUR/MONTH , MIN/DATE , 12/24 Year to select the time and hour format.
• Release SET Alarm to confirm.

Switching Off the Alarm

There are three ways to switch off the alarm.

Slide ALARM switch to ON , press SNOOZE to turn the alarm off for 24 hours.

Slide ALARM switch to OFF to switch the alarm off completely.

Replace the battery when the display dims or sound weakens. To replace, slide the battery compartment tray out. Insert the battery of the same type (3V, CR2032) plus "+" side up.

Slide the tray back into the compartment until it clicks.

The clock and alarm settings cannot be stored and will need to be set again.

• Keep button-cell batteries away from children. Swallowing a button-cell battery can be fatal.
• Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.
• If you do not plan to use the timer for more than a month, remove the battery. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts.
• Keep your alarm clock dry; if it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Keep your alarm clock away from dust and dirt. Handle your alarm clock carefully; do not drop it.
• Avoid contact with any corrosive materials such as perfume, alcohol, or cleaning agents.
• Do not subject the alarm clock to excessive force, shock, dust, temperature or humidity. Any of these conditions may shorten the life of the alarm clock.
• Do not tamper with any of the internal components of this alarm clock. This will invalidate the warranty and may cause damage.
