● For General Admission (Free Standing), only individuals aged 14 years old and above are permitted. Pregnant women and patrons with medical conditions will not be permitted entry. Babies and toddlers are strictly not allowed.

● For reserved seating, only individuals aged 5 years old and above are permitted. However, they must be accompanied by a ticket holder aged 18 years old and above.

⛔ Latecomers will only be allowed entry at an appropriate time. Late entry cannot be guaranteed.

We urge all fans of the concert to adhere closely to all our local sensitivities by dressing up accordingly. 

⛔ All types of professional cameras and drones are prohibited and will be denied entry, and will be confiscated if found being used at the event.

⛔ Video and audio recording devices are strictly prohibited. Tapes, films, or other recordings may also be destroyed. Those who violate the rules will be asked to leave the venue and restricted from entry.

Security Check

● Enhanced security checks are in place on arrival at National Stadium, we ask you to please support and cooperate fully so our team can efficiently carry out these measures to ensure your safety and make sure you are inside the stadium for the show.

● Kindly keep your personal belongings to a minimum and only bring your essentials. Please do not bring large bags, as these will not be allowed into the venue.

● For the safety of our audience, a security check is required upon entry. No suitcase is allowed. Any items against security regulations will not be allowed entry.

● There are storage counters located around the venue for any items not allowed in the venue. RM15 per items stored. Only credit/debit card will be accepted.

Know Before You Go

How to get here - public transport.

We strongly encourage you to use public transport to get to the venue. Using public transport is the easiest, safest, and fastest way to National Stadium Bukit Jalil.

Please take Sri Petaling Line to Bukit Jalil LRT station. The stadium is an 8-minute walk from the LRT Station. Let's reduce our carbon footprint by taking public transport! Make sure your Touch ‘n Go card have sufficient balance!

Bukit Jalil LRT Station will be operating until 1AM. Interchange Stations will also be extended for commuters to reach their destinations.

How To Get Here - Own Transportation

Parking at the Stadium is wholly operated and managed by Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia and its authorised parking contractor. Please visit www.stadium.gov.my for more information.

There's very limited parking space available at the stadium, you can explore the additional car park available below:

To avoid getting stuck in traffic, you may arrange for a pick-up/drop-off at National Hockey Stadium.

CAT 3 General Admission Ticket Holders Must Know

● Comfortable clothes are recommended! As for standing zone ticket holders, kindly wear covered shoes to stay away from any potential injuries. No HEELS are allowed in the standing zone!

What if it's raining?

As it is an outdoor event, we strongly recommended that you prepare a reusable raincoat in advance (No disposable raincoat). Helmets and umbrellas will not be permitted into the venue. Patrons are advised to stow their helmets and umbrellas prior to entering the venue.

Sustainability

What you can do to be part of coldplay's sustainability mission.

● Join us in harmonizing with Coldplay's sustainability mission! Please recycle and sort your waste into designated bins: Plastic, Paper, Metal, General Waste, and Organic which are located around the venue.

● Empty refillable bottles will be permitted into the venue for SEATED FANS ONLY. If you have a GA floor ticket you will not be allowed to bring a bottle, due to security restrictions. PLEASE NOTE - no larger than 1 litre, and no metal (steel, aluminium, etc) or glass will be allowed.

● Water stations will be available throughout the concourse, field area, and outside the gates. Help us cut down on waste by reusing and refilling.

● Reduce trips and emissions by carpooling on Grab's GrabShare service from the concert venue and save up to 20%.

● Hopping on the LRT to the Coldplay concert is another great way to reduce your carbon emissions, avoid traffic and support public transportation.

Coldplay To Perform In Malaysia For The First Time On 22nd November, Tickets Start From RM228

For days, there has been buzz surrounding the news of British rock band Coldplay possibly having a concert in Malaysia for their ongoing world tour. Now, Malaysians can all cheer aloud, as the band themselves confirmed that they’ll be gracing our country for the first time ever on 22nd November 2023 .  

Here’s what we know about their upcoming concert in Malaysia:

Coldplay announces Asia tour dates, including a stop in Kuala Lumpur

Coldplay’s rumoured concert in Malaysia was the talk of the town all week. Much to fans’ glee, the rumour isn’t a rumour anymore – the British band confirmed on their social media platforms and website that they’ll be having a concert in Malaysia for the very first time.

They are set to blaze the stage of Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur on 22nd November.

The concert will be part of their tour titled Music of the Spheres, and Kuala Lumpur was announced as a stop along with several other cities including Tokyo, Kaohsiung, Jakarta, and Perth.

CIMB cardholders can access an exclusive ticket presale on 16th May from 10am until 11:59pm online at Live Nation Malaysia and on the GoLive Ticketing app . General sale tickets will be available on the same platforms on 17th May, from 10am with pre-queue starting at 9am.

Live Nation Malaysia has since released prices for tickets on their social media platforms, including Twitter.

The different pricing tiers, excluding ticket fees and booking charges, are:

• CAT 1: RM1,288
• CAT 2: RM758
• CAT 3: RM658
• CAT 4: RM598
• CAT 5: RM498
• CAT 6: RM398
• CAT 7: RM228

There are also special packages with additional inclusions, including:

• Ultimate Experience (RM3,088) – CAT 1 seated ticket, backstage tour, photo opportunity, dedicated venue entrance and merch counters, custom merch, and sustainable Coldplay gift item
• My Universe (RM2,108) – CAT 1 seated ticket, dedicated venue entrance and merch counters, and sustainable Coldplay gift item
• Higher Power (RM1,258) – CAT 3 GA ticket, early entry, dedicated venue entrance and merch counters, and sustainable Coldplay gift item

Each transaction is also limited to four tickets only.

Well, now we know! Live Nation Malaysia has finally updated their social media and here are the official prices of the tickets.

There are 7 categories of ticket prices ranging from RM228 to RM1,288. Then there are extra 3 VIP packages ranging from RM1,258 to RM3,088.

On 16 and 17 May, you can get the tickets at http://livenation.my , http://golive-asia.com , or the GoLive Ticketing App.

The CIMB Cardholder Exclusive Presale starts at 10 am – 11.59 pm on Tuesday, 16 May 2023.

For your information, one card is restricted to one transaction only and you can purchase only 4 tickets max in one transaction.

The General Sale will be available starting at 10 am on Wednesday, 17 May. The pre-queue system starts at 9 am so you gotta be ready!

For those VIP Kayangan peeps

Are you a big fan of Coldplay and want a special and spectacular experience? Worry not, they have VIP packages just for you!

There are three VIP packages ranging from the Ultimate Experience (RM3,088), My Universe (RM2,108) and Higher Power (RM1,258).

Some tips & references for seat choosing

For those still not familiar with Bukit Jalil National Stadium’s seating, you can try to browse for the seating view first on social media before deciding on buying which areas.

To do that, simply use the #coldplayinkl, #coldplayinmalaysia, and #stadiumbukitjalil hashtags or just write these keywords on Twitter or TikTok. There will be lots of videos and pictures of the seat view from various points of view of those who went to the previous Blackpink concert last March.

You might want to avoid seats with restricted views, such as those restricted by the fences.

On Twitter, you can also type those keywords and find out tweets with tips from previous concertgoers. One such example is this Twitter thread by @brgsjks .

Musician You Need to See Live in Concert

Coldplay are a British rock band formed in London in 1997. They consist of vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion and creative director Phil Harvey.

Coldplay have announced their hugely-anticipated return to Asia and Australia with a special run of stadium shows in November 2023, as part of their record-breaking Music Of The Spheres World Tour.

Since the tour’s first date in March 2022, the band have sold more tickets than any other artist in the world, receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike and picking up accolades including Favorite Touring Artist at the 2022 AMAs and Tour of The Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards.

The dates feature Coldplay’s first Tokyo shows since 2017, their first ever dates in Kaohsiung, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur and a special one-off performance in Perth (their first in Western Australia since 2009).

Westlife returns to Malaysia for a show on June 9, with only three members this time around

Irish boy band Westlife is returning to Malaysia for another show one year after its successful two-night concert at Axiata Arena in 2023.

This time around, the group will be performing at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting on June 9 at 6pm.

Returning to the very same arena after 24 years, Westlife will entertain fans with its ear worm hits such as Uptown Girl, If I Let You Go, Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings and more.

However, this time, only three of the four members will be travelling to Malaysia for this show titled Westlife The Hits Tour 2024; Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan are raring to go while Mark Feehily has opted out to prioritise his health.

In a recent post on social media, Feehily said: "Most of you are aware that I have had some health challenges over the past while.

"It is with the upmost level of regret that I must now temporarily stand down from all Westlife touring until a time that I have had the chance to fully recover from the turbulent journey I have been through as an individual."

According to BBC, the 43-year-old recently underwent surgery to treat a hernia.

Tickets to Westlife The Hits Tour 2024 are priced at RM1,188, RM988, RM788, RM588 and RM388, subject to RM4 processing fee, and available via mmic.bigtix.io, rwgenting.com or my.bookmyshow.com from noon on April 26.
