Grupo Niche came on the Latin scene with the appearance of the album 'No Hay Quinto Malo' published on November 30, 1983. The single 'La Negra No Quiere' immediately became a fan favorite and made Grupo Niche one of the fastest growing talents at that moment. Conciertos en Miami 2024: Grupo Niche traerá su vibrante sonido al Adrienne Arsht Center con el “Pachanguero Tour”

La emblemática agrupación musical colombiana, Grupo Niche, como parte de su gira internacional “Pachanguero Tour” en conmemoración de la salida del éxito de 1984 “Cali Pachanguero” compuesto por el inolvidable Maestro Jairo Varela y un tributo monumental a cuatro décadas de pasión, música y éxito sin igual, llega este viernes 22 de marzo al Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.

Durante su espectáculo, Grupo Niche en Miami ofrecerá lo mejor de su perdurable repertorio a sus fans latinos, que incluirá una actuación especial de la canción “Cali Pachanguero”, un clásico e himno a la ciudad de Cali-Colombia, con sus letras le canta a la nostalgia, al amor y orgullo de la ciudad, considerada la “capital mundial de la salsa”. Grupo Niche is a Colombian salsa orchestra formed in 1979, recognized by critics and the public alike as the most successful in Latin America over the last four decades. It was started in the city of Bogotá by Jairo Varela Martínez, a native of the department of Chocó. With the passage of time and in search of inspiration, they decided to travel to the city of Buenaventura on the Colombian Pacific coast, and finally, in 1983, they settled in Cali, in the western region of the country, which would become their base for operations. In 1990, Jairo Varela produced "Cielo de Tambores," the group's most successful album. Songs like "Una Aventura," "Busca por Dentro," "Se pareció tanto a ti," "Sin Sentimiento," "Cali Ají," and "Debiera Olvidarla" broke new ground and were an undeniable success throughout Latin America. With their tours, the group used their newfound influence to entertain their immigrant compatriots and the ethnic groups of each country. On August 8, 2012, teacher Jairo Varela suffered another heart attack that caused his death. There was great grief over his passing in Colombia and several other countries. His funeral lasted four days due to the ovation of his fans. Numerous tributes were received from governments and individuals, and the legend of "Jairo" began. – 2016 Nominated at the Latin Grammy and Anglo Grammy Awards – 2016 The Premio Lo Nuestro, the Afro-Colombian award of the year – 2017 Latin Billboard Awards – 2020 Winners of the Latin Grammy and Anglo Grammy.

El 8 de agosto de 2012, el maestro Jairo Varela sufrió otro infarto que le provocó la muerte. Hubo una gran aflicción por su fallecimiento en Colombia y varios otros países. Su funeral duró cuatro días debido a la ovación de sus fans. Artistas nacionales e internacionales protagonizarán Latin Music Tours 2024

Sergio Vargas, Grupo Niche y Willy García, Chiquito Team Band, Luis Vargas, Ala Jazá, los típicos Urbanda y El Blachy, Erika Lane, entre otros amenizarán el festival

El festival Latin Music T ours celebrará su 23 aniversario con una atractiva cartelera artística del 16 al 17 de agosto próximo en el Centro de Convenciones del complejo turístico Barceló Bávaro Gran Resort .

En un encuentro con la prensa de espectáculos celebrado este sábado, Fernando Quezada , presidente de Quepe Music & Events, y la directora comercial de Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort, Zarina Montalvo, compartieron los detalles del festival que será protagonizado por destacados artistas nacionales e internacionales.

"Durante tres días, turistas nacionales e internacionales tendrán la oportunidad de disfrutar de la música de relevantes figuras que gozan de amplia aceptación en el gusto del público", comentó Fernando Quezada .

Reconocimiento a Sergio Vargas

Fernando Quezada anunció que el Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort, Latin Music Tours , y en colaboración con la Academia Dominicana de Periodistas de Arte y Espectáculos (Adopae), le otorgarán un pergamino de reconocimiento al popular artista Sergio Vargas por sus aportes a favor de la difusión del merengue en el país y en el extranjero.

La directora comercial de Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort, Zarina Montalvo, destacó que el Latin Music Tours y la gerencia del complejo turístico se unen a esta gran celebración poniendo a disposición del público las excelentes instalaciones del lugar.

La cartelera reunirá a exponentes del merengue , bachata , salsa, música urbana y merengue típico.

"La oferta de Latin Music Tours de este año incluye tres noches de fiesta y un Beach Party el sábado 17 desde el mediodía. Las atracciones artísticas del fin de semana largo incluyen desde Colombia al Grupo Niche , Willy García , y de República Dominicana a Sergio Vargas , quien recibirá un reconocimiento por su trayectoria.

Además, la salsa de Chiquito Team Band, la bachata de Luis Vargas, la música urbana de Jay One y en representación del merengue típico El Blachy y Urbanda, mientras el Beach Party contará con la animación de DJ Mariposa y Mariachi Budda", afirmó Quezada.

Cartelera por día

La cantante y compositora dominicana Erika Lane tendrá a su cargo la apertura del Latin Music Tours. La artista, quien estuvo en el encuentro con la prensa, expresó su agradecimiento por la invitación para estar en un evento que ya ha hecho un gran aporte a la industria cultural.

El jueves 15 de agosto será la Noche de Bienvenida del Latin en la Discoteca Bávaro del impresionante complejo turístico, con música típica de Urbanda y El Blachy, desde las 10:00 de la noche.

El viernes 16 de agosto a las 9:00 de la noche en el espacioso Centro de Convenciones del Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort será la Noche de Blanco a ritmo de salsa, merengue y música urbana, con el Grupo Niche desde Colombia, y del país Chiquito Team Band, Ala Jazá con el merengue de ahora y el urbano Jay One.

El sábado 17 de agosto, para despedir Latin Music Tours 2024, en el mismo escenario del Centro de Convenciones, a las 9:00 de la noche, el público disfrutará con el pegajoso repertorio merenguero de Sergio Vargas, la salsa del colombiano Willy García y la bachata de Luis Vargas. A todo esto, se suma ese mismo sábado 17 al mediodía, el esperado Beach Party, con las mezclas de DJ Mariposa y la animación de Mariachi Budda.

Texas-based hitmakers Grupo Frontera have announced a new 2024 United States tour.

The band will kick off their upcoming jaunt across the country on August 2nd in Las Vegas. They’ll then go on to play shows in cities like Nashville, Brooklyn, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping up in Edinburgh, Texas, on October 5th.  See the full list of their upcoming dates below, and get tickets here .

What Is Grupo Frontera’s New Tour?

The new tour celebrates Grupo Frontera’s latest album, Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada , which dropped on May 10th. As such, Grupo Frontera have fittingly dubbed the new run the “Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada Tour.” Each date will find the band performing their biggest hits, like “No Se Va,” as well as cuts from the new release and other fan favorites.

Leading up to today’s tour announcement, Group Frontera performed “Amor Propio” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and “Ya Pedo Quién Sabe” on The Tonight Show .

How Can I Buy Tickets to Grupo Frontera’s “Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada” Tour?

A Live Nation pre-sale (use access code SOUNDCHECK ) for Grupo Frontera’s 2024 dates goes live on Wednesday, May 15th at 10:00 a.m. local time. The general on-sale will then follow on Friday, May 17th, also at 10:00 a.m. local time.
