I pick you up at 7 am and we visit 4 -5 factories in a day..

I am an expert at getting around Vietnam and visiting factories. I have been doing it for 10 years and know many factories on a first name basis. I know clothing factories, shoe factories, leather accessory factories, plastic injection moulding factories, back pack factories...if I don't know them, then I know how to find them.

My business model is unique. I don't get paid commissions from factories. I am not an agent. I work for you. After I introduce, then you produce directly with the factory. If you need additional help then we can discuss.

My record is 7 factory visits in one day. Ask me for references if needed.

We usually leave early to beat rush hour morning traffic and show up to first factory at 8 am when they start work. Then we finish the third factory visit just before lunch so we don't waste timing waiting around for the factory to get back from lunch. We transit during the lunch hour.

Put your skills to the test at Alluvia Factory after the harvest, where cocoa beans are transformed into ready-to-eat bars through various steps, including fermentation, roasting, and drying. The factory produces around 1,000 bars of chocolate every day so there are plenty of chances to nibble on their chocolate samples – there is something for everyone, whether you are into the traditional dark and milky bars or the new flavors of chili, cashew, ginger, and pepper. 

The technical (but necessary) guide on transportation to Cho Gao

If you are a bit lost on how to get to Cho Gao District from Saigon, worry no more. There are two main ways to travel to Alluvia depending on your needs. The first and easiest option is by motorbike or car, but the service bus is definitely a go-to in case you can use neither. Moreover, a bus ride helps to prevent the fatigue of driving long distances. Take a bus from the city’s center to Cho Gao Bus Station and then continue on to the carrier’s shuttle bus, which will take you straight to Alluvia Cocoa Farm and Chocolate Factory:

Alluvia Cocoa Farm & Chocolate Factory is located 100 kilometers to the north of Saigon in Cho Gao District, Tien Giang Province. Its vast fields and plantations write the story of Alluvia, a two-generation family who has been specializing in bean-to-bar chocolates for over 14 years. A typical itinerary for the day starts when the farm owners show visitors about the cultivation of cocoa trees, the harvesting of cocoa pods, and gain more understanding about our bean-to-bar process. A free tasting session of various chocolate products then follows to boost up everyone’s energy. With a small fee, you can enjoy fresh coconut juice in the garden while picking your own cocoa beans and planting some new seeds.

Since we are a tropical country, fruits are always on offer. Stay healthy by dropping by Cai Be Fruit Orchard, where a dozen kinds of tropical fruits are grown and sold, including pomelo, water coconut, mango, star apple, jackfruit, and durian, to name but a few. By air-shower that blows strong winds, we brush hair or dust off with turning round and round.

By adhensive roller cleaner, we check if there is hair or dust again for the safety.

By alcohol-based hand sanitizer, we sterilize the hands or fingers carefully. we sterilize always when entering the manufacturing place.

02 Chewing gum

Made from ~ raw materials of chewing gum ~.

Main raw materials of chewing gum are the below. By utilizing each materials together, we can manufacture the tasty gum.

01 Gum base to decide “Chewability”

It's called gum base left after chewing. By this gum base, we can serve excellent chewability.

02 Sweetener to decide “Sweetness”

Gum base itself doesn't have the taste. We add the sweetness of gum by the various sweeteners later. It's not only sugar but xylitol to prevent tooth decay.

03 Flavoring agent to decide “Aroma”

We use the flavoring agent to add aroma. Peppermint as natural herbs is added for the refreshed taste, and natural essential oil extracted from fruits is added for fruity fragrance. We can make the various aroma by mixing some flavoring agents.

Efficacy of chewing gum

Efficacy often said generally is the below.

01 Enhance concentration

By chewing the gum, muscular movement of the chin and mouth stimulates the brain and it leads to the cerebral blood circulation, and brain neuron activation.

02 Relaxing effects

Chewing the gum will lead to the activation of serotonin secretion. Serotonin is also called “Happy hormone” and bring the relaxing effects & the peace of mind.

03 Preventing bad breath

By chewing gum, it brings the sialogogic effect and leads to preventing bad breath.

04 Preventing tooth decay

By chewing the sugar free gum containing xylitol, it brings the effect of preventing tooth decay.

Main raw materials of candy are the below. By utilizing each materials together, we can manufacture the tasty candy.

01 Starch syrup to decide “Texture to suck”

Starch syrup is crucial point to make the candy. By this syrup, we can make the comfortable & smooth texture to suck

02 Sugar to decide “Sweetness”

Sugar is the main raw material of candy. We use the moderate sugar to add the sweetness.

We use the flavoring agent to add aroma. If there is not flavoring agent, its taste is only 'sweet'. So it is very important to decide the taste.

04 Chocolate & Biscuits

Main raw materials of chocolate are the below. By utilizing each materials together, we can manufacture the tasty chocolate.

01 Cacao mass bitter taste & aroma

We draw out the bitter taste of chocolate and original aroma from this cacao mass. Cacao mass is made by roasting and grinding the fermented & dried cacao beans after peeling skin of beans. We can get cocoa butter and cocoa powder from this cacao mass.

02 Cocoa butter crispy texture & melting in mouth

Cocoa butter make the big role for making chocolate's original crispy texture and melting in mouth. Cocoa butter is extracted vegetable fat from cacao mass. This fat is including in cacao mass plentifully (About 55%)

03 Cocoa powder taste-making & coloring

Cocoa powder is used in case of drinking cocoa beverages generally. In addition, it's used for chocolate taste-making & coloring.

04 Sugar sweetness

By cacao mass only, there is not sweetness but strong bitterness. So we add sugar for sweetness.

05 Daily ingredient mild taste

By daily ingredient, we can reduce the bitterness and astringency, and make chocolate more mild taste. We use the dried powdery daily ingredients(whole powdered milk or defat powdered milk) for chocolate containing few water.

Cacao polyphenols containg chocolate has great efficacy for your health. Efficacy often said generally is the below.

01 Decrease of blood pressure

Cacao polyphenols can help to widen the opening in blood vessels.

02 Prevention of arteriosclerosis

Cacao polyphenols can help to prevent arteriosclerosis. Because it has anti-oxidant action to prevent LDL cholesterol's oxide as one of the causes of arteriosclerosis.

03 Prevention of skin-aging

Cacao polyphenols can help to prevent the skin-aging. By the anti-oxidant action of cacao polyphenols, the action of active oxygen as the cause of skin-aging is reduced, and it's helpful for skin troubles.

04 Prevention of the cavity

Cacao polyphenols have the effect of sterilizing. So it reduces the action of bacteria in the mouth. But chocolate contains carbohydrate, so it's important to brush your teeth and take xylitol gum.

01 Flour pleasant smelling biscuits dough

There is so many kinds of flour by the amount of protein in it. Normally suitable flour is used, for example, flour containing much protein is for breads and noodle, and flour containing a few protein is for biscuits and cake.

02 Sugar Sweetness

Sugar is for not only sweetness of biscuits but soft texture and color luster.

03 Oil and fat Soft texture

Oil and fat's Shortening made from vegetable oil is essential for crispy texture. It's used for not only biscuits but bread etc…widely.

04 Daily product nutrition and flavor

Daily products(milk, skimmed milk, concentrated milk, butter etc..) and egg have highly nutritious foods. By these materials, we can add more tastiness and flavor.

Koala’s March production line

Start is to make dough of tasty biscuits. By large mixer, it's possible to make over 100kg dough.

2 Cutting system

Lump of dough is cut into each 16kg for next processing.

3 Rolling system

By big roller, kneaded dough is rolled into long narrow strip of dough.

In oven with dozens of meters, koala's biscuits are baked with taking plenty of time. We adjust and control the temparture in oven by considering season and dough situation.

5 Punching system

Punched cute koala's bosucuits like a jigsaw puzzle are emerging.

4 Printing system

Here is original printing system. By using rotary drum with various cute koala's character, we put these character on dough with caramel ink.

To check if there is some burnt biscuits etc.. or not by visually confirming.

8 Chocolate injection system

We inject chocolate from the behind of biscuits for not breaking cute koala's illustration In addition, we use a thin needle like injection, so hole is very small...

After inject the chocolate, biscuits are cooled and become that tasty koala's march.

12 Completion

Koala's march is manufactured for taking many minutes through the line with a few hundred meters.

11 Quality check

We carry out a metal inclusion test and quantity check here by high performance device's sensor. Besides, we check by visually confirming again here. We put the importance on quality check for your safety.

10 Packing system

We carry out Bagging and cartoning at the same timing speedy and manufacture 100boxes per minute.
