The Vasmer Cross is an expiatory cross in the Mitte district of Bremen, Ostertor district, on the street Beim Steinernen Kreuz No. 10. Also within walking distance (about 10 minutes on foot) from the city hall is the impressive Berliner Dom cathedral with its magnificent domes and turrets towering over the city. Berlin’s most beautiful buildings also include Charlottenburg Palace.

Architecture lovers will also be delighted by the 19th century Evangelical Memorial Church. Although the building suffered damage during the Second World War, it is still possible to admire the surviving part and the geometric blocks of the new church built right next to it.
