Testimonials
In 2022, after COVID lockdowns, we decided to do a remote area tagalong tour with ‘Big Sky’. Once meeting, we immediately felt comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, with many inclusions and some extra surprises. Daily breakfasts were a huge help when camping. We had several mechanical issues, which they sorted and kept us going. The hosts were very knowledgeable on the history and the bush. We loved the banter and night-time gatherings. Once we got home, we immediately wanted to go again. Ourselves and 2 of the other couples are now going on another tour together with them, next year! Svante & Helen
A big thank you to you both for our tagalong tour with Big Sky. It was a unique opportunity to explore the Darling River from beginning to end. Your hospitability has been exceptional and the energy during the entire trip was amazing. You have created an extended family atmosphere and we have enjoyed the easy going banter throughout.
We wish you well with all your future tours, stay healthy. Ray and Cheryl
Thank you for everything; it’s been a great trip. Burke and Wills tour. Lynden and Joy
Having just completed Big Sky Tagalong’s Burke and Wills Tour, I can absolutely say it was a most enjoyable and interesting trip. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and easy to get along with. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and enjoyable with plenty of laughs as well along the way, hence the time went very quickly. I would definitely recommend it. Bill Hill
This was the first time we have travelled in a group/convoy and will do it again, as it was an all-round, memorable, unique experience. The hosts Dave and Jacque were very welcoming, friendly, and made us feel comfortable, and the group we travelled with were also friendly, helpful, and entertaining. Everything was planned out from the cooked breakfasts to the evening get togethers, although you do get time out to do your own thing if you prefer once you have settled into your campsite for the day. We usually stick to the main roads when travelling, but these tours take you to places that you wouldn’t normally go to. About 60% of the travel, we did on tour were on gravel roads, but we found these roads to be in good condition which built up our confidence to try the back roads on our own for the future. There are things to see on these backroads that you probably would never see unless you are with a professional tour such as BIG SKY. They not only know the best places to go, but they also explain the history. Dave and Jacque also have a plan B if any unforeseen circumstances occur, they are well prepared and have done their research to adjust the tour accordingly. If you have difficulty positioning you van/camper or setting up your equipment, Dave and Jacque are only too pleased to help. (Very helpful for the novice). BIG SKY are offering more than a tour, it is an adventure that we would highly recommend. Well Done BIG SKY. Lynn and Richard (DARLING RIVER TAGALONG TOUR 29 JULY 2023 TO 4 AUGUST 2023)

Taking your four-wheel drive on a tagalong tour
Travel & Touring | Camping & Caravanning
11 July 2023 By: John Bormolini
Four-wheel drive tagalong tours can be a great way to go offroad in safety, meet lots of other like-minded adventurers and see sights that you’re never going to see from a highway.
Remote four-wheel drive trips that take in the natural wonders of Western Australia’s vast and varied landscape are truly unforgettable experiences.
Our huge backyard presents amazing opportunities for this type of off-road exploring, whether you’re immersed in the South West forests, cruising along hundreds of kilometres of unspoilt coastline or driving deep into inland bushland and seemingly endless desert.
In spite of WA’s high rate of SUV and four-wheel drive ownership, only a minority ever venture off the highway, let alone to very remote parts of the country. Often four-wheel drive owners lack the skills and confidence to take on an offroad trip, especially with a family on board. Being unsure of the vehicle’s capability can also be an issue.
Like many things in life, being guided or accompanied as you gain firsthand experience is often the best (and safest) way to do things. That’s why four-wheel drive tagalong tours are a great option.
RELATED: A guide to taking your four-wheel drive off-road in WA »
The concept has proved popular over the years and still services growing numbers of camping-oriented off-roaders that are looking to maximise their road trip experience and learn along the way.
WA has numerous four-wheel drive tagalong tour operators, some that specialise in particular regions and others that offer extensive, longer-range tours to just about anywhere.
The benefits of tagalong tours
There are lots of plusses for paying to tagalong on a four-wheel drive trek with an experienced tour operator.
Those new to off-roading get to experience different and sometimes tricky terrain, with all the expert guidance needed to safely navigate it, along with vital local knowledge of the track.
Beyond the safety factor, let’s not forget there’s also a lot of fun to be had travelling and camping in the company of others and sharing the adventure.
Tagalong tours also reduce the stresses of covering every element of pre-trip planning. The tour operators will make sure you are well informed about the route and what you need to bring.
Ultimately, you’re paying for valuable prior experience and a great deal of off-road training along the way.
What you need to join a tagalong
A four-wheel drive vehicle that is in good condition and able to handle the terrain encountered during your tour is essential.
Typically, most tour operators don’t provide the vehicle. Some non-four-wheel drive owners may take on the expense of hiring one, but the greatest strength of this concept is drivers learning more about their own vehicle’s capabilities and their own driving ability. Your guide will determine if any pre-trip driver training is necessary but usually most of this is done during the trip itself.
Basic spare parts and a toolkit are essentials as are proper, rated vehicle recovery points on the front and rear of your vehicle. You’ll also need an in-built or handheld UHF radio for convoy communication and, if the tour is very remote, a second spare wheel in addition to a tyre repair kit.
You’ll need to bring your own camping gear, for sleeping, cooking and relaxing and your own personal First Aid kit, even though tour operators do also carry them.
Some companies will provide catering but usually only on short trips. Tagalong members generally need to cater for themselves, which means planning around keeping things cool or bringing portable refrigeration. Operators who understand the conditions well will provide good advice in regard to this, especially when you’re on an extended trip into a remote area.
An adventure to suit everyone
Nick Underwood, founder of WA’s long-running Western 4WDriver magazine, has run tagalong tours called Campfire Escapes for decades. Together with business partner Andrew Farden, they have guided off-road tagalongs in and across every corner of the state.
Apart from the typical long-range, remote camping tours, Nick and Andrew have hosted father and son groups along with photography and drone enthusiasts. They also do inland wildflower trips, tours that retrace early explorer routes and even some that follow the very first bush tracks and roads laid down in WA.
“Because you’re in a group, there’s definitely an element of safety,” Nick says.
“There’s no getting lost because you’re following other people and if you get into any trouble, someone’s there to help you out. Plus, of course, they’re a lot of fun and a great way to meet people and share the camping experience.”
Over the years that he and Andrew have been running Campfire Escapes, they’ve seen 85 per cent of people rebook for further tours, with some becoming ‘regulars’.
“Tagalong tours are definitely family-friendly and suitable for all ages and offer such an easy way to get started with off-road exploring and camping.”
Budgeting for your trip
There’s no shortage of options when it comes to this kind of touring in WA, with interstate operators also offering tours here.
So, if you have a destination or type of off-roading adventure in mind, shop around as you’ll often find comparable tours to the same destinations.
Tours usually range from shorter three to four-day getaways to places within reasonable proximity to the metropolitan area, through to week-long escapes, and longer 15 to 18-day tours into more remote parts of the state. Factoring in your fuel costs on these longer trips is an important consideration when working out your road trip budget.
If you’re heading to the Pilbara, Roebourne-based Ngurrangga Tours offers an easy one-day tagalong. The Aboriginal-owned company will take you to see some of the Pilbara’s incredible rock art and teach you about local bush tucker and bush medicines. You’ll also hear traditional stories along the way. The tour is around $250.
Get Lost Tours offer a range of smaller group tagalongs. Their four-day Anzac weekend trip to the Yeagarup Dunes and Warren River near Pemberton costs $560 per vehicle with two people on board. The eight-day Goldfields tagalong is $1950 and the 10-day Hyden, Israelite Bay, Esperance trip is around $2130 per vehicle.
The stipulations are no pets and no ‘soft roader’ or SUV type vehicles as they will not manage the long dune climbs, deep, soft sand and ground clearances required.
Explore WA Adventures has an extensive range of tagalong tours, including more extensive treks such as the Canning Stock Route for 15 days at around $4500 and the Kimberley Oombulgurri Track for 15 days costing $6500 (very challenging). Their epic Coast-to-Coast from Cocklebiddy in the Bight to 80 Mile Beach in the Pilbara, right across the middle of the state, is just under $3000.
These serious tagalongs do require well-equipped vehicles though. The Coast-to-Coast tour for example, requires a minimum 1000-kilometre fuel range.
Epic 4WD Tours and Global Gypsies are amongst other groups to research. For a great introduction to the tagalong tour concept, Pemberton Discovery Tours offer half-day tagalongs through the Yeagarup sand dunes near Pemberton. It's an ideal way to get comfortable with using a vehicle off-road for those new to four-wheel driving.
Reputable tagalong operators usually have various industry-related accreditations, including as a licensed commercial tour operator, certified four-wheel driver training, First Aid accreditation and as sustainable tourism operators. So check for relevant accreditations before you book.
There’s no doubt these tours offer enormous value to every kind off-road adventurer, with the learning experience being one of the biggest drawcards.
Seeing how other four-wheel drive vehicles and campers are set up and how others manage and pack their vehicle along with picking up (and also sharing) many handy tips and tricks is invaluable. You’ll have opportunities to observe and compare how different vehicles handle the conditions and their relative strengths or weaknesses.
It’s all good, practical experience in a real setting, which is very different to an exhibition stand at a four-wheel drive show. You’ll also get to experience some spectacular country. In the end, being out there is what it’s all about.

FANTASTIC We shared a recent tag along trip of the Canning Stock Route with 3 other cars with the support of Adam . While all the drivers were competent and experienced in 4WD outback travel, for safety and backup support we sought the services provided by a tagalong arrangement . Adam was an amazing support as a guide over the roughest track in years and offered much needed mechanical and general vehicle support . His local knowledge of the best camp and points of interest made the trip enjoyable and stress free . Adam also rescued a young couple travelling solo (albeit their 2nd trip)who had managed to get themselves off the track and hopelessly bogged . Without his assistance they would have waited days for an emergency remote rescue . None of our group needed rescue thanks to being part of his tagalong . Definitely recommend a tagalong arrangement when travelling this remote and rugged track
We travelled with Adam on both the Simpson Desert and Canning Stock Route trips. Both trips were outstanding despite the Simpson Desert being flooded and closed. Adam rerouted our trip to ensure we still had a fabulous time. Adam was great company and ensured we had a 5 star experience due to his knowledge, experience and advice. This was invaluable when we encountered some vehicle issues. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone wanting to travel the outback.
I'd like to thank Adam for another exciting journey through the North Simpson Desert and across the Madigan line. As always, the trip was well run and managed, with spectacular scenery and a remote element that was truly amazing. The social interaction of an evening was always great fun, leaving those in the group good mates and ready for more.
Over the last few years I have also done a Cape trip, Hay River trip, and Darling River run with Tracks 4x4 Tagalongs all of which were fantastic, as well as a Victorian High Country trip which we will never forget, the tracks, camping and scenery was second to none.
Adam is a true professional with a vast knowledge in the off road adventure world who conducts himself in a friendly manner and at the same time brings the security that comes with at least 30 years of 4wd experience to make every trip a true adventure. I’d follow him anywhere and would highly recommend Tracks 4x4 Tagalong for any adventure trip.
We were thrilled with the skill, care and attention that Adam provided when we did his tag along trip on the Hay River Track and Madigan line. Due to a medical condition, we were somewhat anxious about travelling into the remotest parts of Australia and Adam’s background as a remote area Paramedic as well as his comprehensive levels of first aid and communications equipment made us comfortable to take the journey.
Inevitably, and probably due to our lack of experience, when we got bogged Adam demonstrated his expertise and patience to safely extract us from trouble and have us on our way.
This was the trip of a lifetime with the most picturesque scenery and great company. We would highly recommend such a tour and in such good company.
Just completed the Darling River run with Tracks 4x4 Tagalong, a great trip. Adam is a natural leader and considerate to everyones needs. Great trip, will join Adam again.
Just completed the Hay River Track loop with Adam. It really was a great trip- so well put together. Maximum exposure to some terrific places - everyday was an adventure. Adam's calm and thoughtful approach to the journey and fellow travellers ensures we travelled with confidence and achieved a great outcome. I'm in my seventies but our party was made up of teenagers, young parents and older travellers. The atmosphere within the group was always harmonious and respectful - a reflection of the enjoyment experienced by all. Many thanks Adam- we'll be back.
Brilliant trip along the Darling River. Highly recommended tour group.
Had a great time! Adam puts a fantastic itinerary together in order to give you unique experiences. Have just returned from Simpson desert trip and absolutely loved it. Tour was fully equipped with first aid equipment, safety communication devices and with permits for national parks.
Very well organised. Adam was very helpful and knowledgeable. Went out of his way to make people feel welcome. Nobody was made to do anything they didn’t feel comfortable with. We had to leave the trip early because of a medical condition and Adam kept checking in to see how I was feeling. Would love to do another trip with Adam in the future.
Adam keeps his tag along groups small, which is fantastic as you get an opportunity to know your travelling companions and you feel like you are part of something special. Which you are. I have had the opportunity to travel on 3 tours under Adam's guidance and have already paid my deposit to do the Canning in 2023. I cannot rate Tracks 4x4 high enough and would recommend them to anyone.
Starting off on our trip I stated my 4wd experience was at a novice level, after the trip I can safely say that my experience level jumped up a few notches, the trip was amazing, driving through the Simpson desert guided by Adam at Tracks 4X4 Tagalong was an experience we will never forget, driving in a convoy lead by an experienced guide, to give you tips on how to safely navigate the terrain was invaluable, driving up and over sand dunes, through salt pan's and rivers. Looking forward to doing another trip with Track 4X4 Tagalong again soon
We had a fabulous time. Camping spots were beautiful and scenery was amazing. Adam took us to some beautiful landmarks that really made the trip. Kids enjoyed it so much and it was great that it worked out to be in the NSW school holidays.
I joined Adam for a second time, this time on the Victoria High Country trip. Being from Victoria, this was the perfect short trip, perfectly fits in a week's holiday. It would be easy from NSW as well, straight down the Hume to begin in Mansfield. The trip itself was great fun. A good mix of driving, some scenic tracks to some steep rocky climbs. I've always wanted to do Billy Goats Track and it made for an entertaining drive and we were rewarded with spectacular views at the top. Adam knowledge ensured all vehicles made it safely and he had picked out some amazing campsites along the way. You don't need all the gear to enjoy this trip and the stock Prado in our group proved it. Don't wait any longer, just book it, pack the car and go.
We recently completed the Tag-A-Long trip to the Tip of Australia, Cape York, following our very knowledgeable and well-prepared guide, Adam Smith. It was a well-balanced route, offering some challenging 4WD terrain mixed with the Nth Qld rugged dirt highways. Each night we stayed at interesting locations, luckily in air-conditioned accommodation. The food was always of good quality and in country style portions. We had a great group of people on the tour who all mixed very well, making for enjoyable banter at our stopovers. It is a trip you have to do to experience the vastness of our amazing country. We’d recommend Adam’s tours for an amazing adventure.
Thanks Adam for a great trip and being a great leader. We had a fantastic time, much better than I was anticipating. Loved the scenery, touring, getting dirty, bumpy tracks, river crossings, camping and most of all our travelling companions. Will do another 4x4 for sure.
A great trip, terrific company, well improvised itinerary given the Simpson wasn't possible. Thanks Adam, plan to be back next year.
Thanks for an awesome trip....Dynamic itinerary adjusted to weather and park conditions....We had a great time.
Adam is an exemplary trip leader, we enjoyed every moment of our “Epic” adventure of ‘The Canning Stock Route N/S June 2023. Adam’s experience and appreciation of the outback is 2nd to none. We would defiantly recommend Tracks 4x4 Tagalong for your next Epic Adventure
We loved the Tracks 4x4 Tagalong trip we did with Adam . Every day provided different driving challenges ; hill climbs, river crossings, gravel roads , rocky ledges and bush tracks . The extreme driving was the fun focus and the bonuses were the views , the camping , the huts , the history and the great company of the others. A fabulous week in the beautiful Victorian High Country . Many thanks Adam
March 2024, Victorian High Country Adam Smith may well be thought the 21st Century Man from Snowy River. No runaway colts, no fancy Clancy, no rampaging mobs of horses, but he sure knows the Victorian High Country inside out. We spent five days traversing one fabulous vista after the next, through different landscapes, ascents, descents, and numerous water crossings; plenty to test the mettle and metal of the drivers and vehicles. We had a great itinerary that had us sated every night but raring to go again the next morning. Adam is a skilled guide and leader. He's knowledgeable and informative and ever ready with constructive advice when needed, and some (i.e. me) needed it more than others, believe me. And speaking of others, we were in a group of eleven and everyone fitted in like we were old mates. Tracks 4x4 Tagalong trips are a fantastic way to explore the exciting bits of our great country. Do it and have a fabulous time.
Enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks exploring Cape York under Adam's relaxed but professional guidance. Everything was well organised and being on a tagalong gave us the confidence to go places we would not have had the confidence to visit solo, even if we had known about them. Adam really knows the Cape and has all the equipment and knowhow to help you avoid and, if necessary, get out of difficulties. Highly recommended for everyone from relative novices to the experienced.

Things to do lesmurdie , kalamunda , western australia.
The secret to enjoying any of these trips is to relax and just take it all in your stride. Days will not be frantic even though some days there will be distance to cover to get to the highlights.
The overall goal is to make sure that you see things that otherwise you might not, going to places that otherwise you might not visit, and meet some new friends.
If you are new to four-wheel driving in the outback then don’t worry, their team aren’t and will therefore provide you with the support and guidance that you might need all of the time.
They will not compromise your safety or the condition of your vehicle just to get to that special spot. There are always other options that are safe, and they will take these every time.
A fun day out exploring the coastal and bush tracks from Seabird to Cervantes with some picturesque stops along the way.
A great opportunity to come along have some fun and gain some experience using your 4WD on coastal tracks and beaches.
The nature of this driving is that we will experience some overgrown coastal tracks.

This way we can plan with confidence and make sure that the trip is EPIC in all respects.
The real secret to enjoying these trips is to relax and just take it all in your stride. Days will not be frantic even though on some days we will have distance to cover to get to the highlights. We will give you a heads up each day on what our plans are, even though times can change due to circumstance and track conditions. Whatever the case we will make sure that you are aware of what is going on and when meal times are at least planned for.
Our overall goal is to make sure that you see things that otherwise you might not, go to places that otherwise you might not visit, and meet some new friends and enjoy their company in a friendly, safe and secure surrounding. Why not join us, it will be fun.
If you are new to four-wheel driving in the outback then don’t worry, we aren’t, and we can and will, provide you with the support and guidance that you might need, all of the time. We will not compromise your safety or the condition of your vehicle just to get to that special spot. There are always other options that are safer, and we will take those – every time.

TAG A LONG ADVENTURES
Looking for a thrilling adventure and an opportunity to learn more about your vehicle's capabilities? Join our tag along tours and explore the beauty of the area with the safety of numbers.
Our guided 4WD tour takes you through the dunes to the beach, and back via the old growth Karri forest. You'll have the chance to communicate with others in the convoy using our UHF Communications (including Hand Held units) and we always carry all recovery gear. Plus, for those without tyre compression equipment, we have an air compressor on board.
We understand that not everyone is familiar with 4WD operations, so we offer a great introduction for beginners, and for those who simply want to learn more about the area. And if you're interested in doing a course, our Certified Trainer and Assessor, Graeme, is ready to help you out.
During summer months, we'll take you over the mouth of the Warren River and up CALCUP HILL for a bit of a challenge, but please note that it's not always available.
To make the most of your adventure, why not combine it with camping? Check out our Glamping or Yeagarup Hut options on www.wawilderness.com.au .

Detailed Itinerary - taken as a passenger onboard the ecotour
(For those of you that want to know EVERYTHING without the reality of doing it, we have written the story below - however we find it really hard to describe... so please read our trip advisor or facebook reviews - the people who write those are our actual clients and have written from the heart.)
Depart Pemberton at 9am or 2pm daily and commence an interpretive journey to the Warren National Park with explanations about the farmland vistas viewable from the comfort of your seat. Explore the Warren National Park; discover the old growth giant Karri forest amongst seemingly impenetrable bush trails.
You will experience a diversity of wildlife from Kangaroo's, snakes, emus and forest Red Tailed Black Cockatoo and other bird life unique to this pristine area. River valleys to towering Karri forest, down to the dense coastal forests, Graeme or Colin will reveal tales of Aboriginal history, early pioneering settlers and even show some of their early horse drawn trails in the security and comfort of our 4WD.
On entering the D'Entrecasteaux National Park we stop and give your time to stretch your legs on the banks of Dead man’s Lake and learn about its history. Make use of the facilities available and take a glimpse at the start of the largest landlocked sand dune system in the Southern Hemisphere.
We traverse the sandy tracks to the giant wall of sand looming above you; it is inevitable, the dunes will swallow the forest. Together we will ascend these dunes and experience the wonder of the Yeagarup sand dune system.
Driving through this pristine dune area, Graeme will stop so you can take in those memorable picture post card views and experience the desire to leave behind footsteps in the sands that will be smoothed away by winds direct from the Great Southern Ocean only a breath away.
For the young and young at heart, "Sand Angels" are a must! Help record the movement of the dunes, through a series of photo locations mapped out with the support of the local Deparment for Parks and Wildlife (DEC/DPaWs).
On the South side of the dunes, travel through coastal heath with ancient flora with its beautiful mass of wildflowers in season (Sept - Nov). On reaching the Great Southern Ocean you may wish to go for a swim in the river mouth or simply go for a short stroll. The mouth of the Warren River opens and closes, depending on the amazing powerful force of the water flow.
The endangered Hooded Plover and Fairy Tern nests can be seen in these areas. Data is collected during February on the tours in an effort to further understand these birds. Your help is greatly appreciated.
On returning to the Lake enjoy lunch or afternoon tea in the peaceful and natural bush setting before your return to civilisation at around 1pm or 6pm.
Graeme and Toni Dearle started Pemberton Discovery Tours in January 2000 and have successfully built up a quality tour guaranteeing a means of access for thousands of people to otherwise inaccessible coastline and the spectacular Yeagarup Dune System.
Their other tour products include the Pemberton Wine Tour, Surf Fishing Safari's, Tag along tours as well as a Bibbulmun Track Drop Off service to local points on the track.

Why do we operate tag along tours?
Well let’s be honest, we’d all love to be soaking up Australia’s incredible outdoor locations right? When Ben and Hayley founded Adrenaline Off Road their vision was to make it easy for anyone to not only upgrade their 4WD but then enjoy it by getting off the beaten track. They realised there were hundreds of people that are new to 4WD’ing, perhaps didn’t have the confidence to go into the bush on their own or have the knowledge to take their vehicle off road in a safe manner.
We wanted to solve all of those everyday challenges by offering tag along tours to the some of the best locations Australia has to offer.
Why do people love our tag along tours?
Our team has more than 20 years of off-roading experience and have been on adventures to some of the most incredible locations around Australia. That passion for exploring Australia is infectious and we wanted to make it easy for everyone to enjoy this as well. People love coming on our tag along tours because we can help prepare the vehicle beforehand at our workshop and then we support you while you are on the tour as well.
It’s the best of both worlds – get everything professionally set up on your vehicle & then learn how to use it while knowing if something goes wrong, we are here to help. We make it simple to choose a tour you’d like to join and then have your vehicle checked and prepared at our workshop in Narellan.
Who does our tag along tours suit?
Our tag along tours are very inclusive and cater to first time four wheel drive owners or experienced owners alike. If you love exploring we will take you to unique locations and show you things you may not otherwise find, or have the experience to get to on your own. You get to do this with other enthusiasts and families who love being outdoors too!
We find that many people aren’t interested in joining a 4WD club and are fearful of going on a tour with an online 4WD group that doesn’t have insurance – we fill that gap, you can participate in a tour whenever you like with complete peace of mind.
What skill levels are required?
We have different tours to suit your experience level with choices including one day 4WD beginners tag along tours as well as 7 or 14 day touring trips that will venture anywhere in Australia including locations like:
- The Simpson Desert
- Victoria High Country
- Sunny Corner State Forest
- Flinders Ranges
Come experience the natural locations Australia has to offer in an environment that caters from beginners and standard vehicles right up to the hard core extreme tracks, or remote area tours.
Create your own custom made tag along tour
We are also available to build and lead a private or corporate tour of any length to any location should you and your friends or colleagues want your own group and destination. We can create a bespoke itinerary that can even be catered with all the access permits and fees organised to visit a particular area sorted for you & your group.
Fully insured, authorised and licensed

"Just do it!! If you have ever thought about heading to the Cape we can thoroughly recommend Ben Perry's Swagalong Tours - His knowledge of the Cape is incredible and he will guide you safely to places that are not even on the map - as well as all the well known places. This is definitely the best tour we have been on and we cannot recommend it highly enough!! Huge THANKYOU to Ben and our new Cape York Family for making it a trip of a lifetime!!"

Our travel with them was epic!"
"Friendly, knowledgable and very professional tour leaders. Ben delivered evrything his website information promised and more. I appreciated his guidance and training as I learnt how to drive the tracks we crossed. At all times we felt safe and well supported. In summary Swagalong Tours is the best way to really see and learn about Cape York."

"Swagalong are experts on the Cape and take a lot of stress out of the trip. They have safety and planning all sorted and so you just need to enjoy the drive in the comfort of your own car. Mark and Ben were excellent in responding and organising activities and solutions along the way. A great way to the Cape"

"We had a lot of laughs, gasps and wows on our trip to Cape York. We went to places off grid and survived! We learnt about many different things that we wouldn’t have seen or gone to if not on this tour and had courage to cross rivers, creeks and bridges with directions from our fellow travellers. We made a new family on this tour. Loved every minute, thank you Ben."
Julie Keivel
Peregian Beach, QLD
"Awesome trip. No stress, great itinerary, everything pre-booked. Guide Ben was a wealth of information & took us to places we would never have found on our own. We went from being complete 4WD beginners to comfortable in lots of different terrain! Add to that a great bunch of like-minded people to spend time chatting around a campfire!"
