PGA Tour golf coverage is spread across multiple channels and streaming services the US, but NBC and CBS generally share the rights to coverage and are your best starting points.

Canadian golf fans will find that NBC's Golf Channel has a Canadian twin that airs featured coverage of most major tournaments and can be watched online with a cable TV subscription.

Two other channels in Canada that often show PGA Tour golf on TV are CTV and TSN - the latter being a particular useful option for cord cutters as you can subscribe to TSN on a streaming-only basis from just CA$4.99 a month.

2021 PGA Tour live stream: how to watch golf online in Australia this year

2020/21 PGA Tour season: highlights so far

The new PGA Tour season has gotten off to a spectacular start, headlined of course by Bryson DeChambeau's dominant win at the US Open back in September and then Dustin Johnson's maiden Augusta victory in November.

Outside of the majors, October produced some highly memorable moments on the regular circuit, and of the non-majors, the relocated Zozo Championship at Sherwood produced a memorable finish that saw Patrick Cantlay win by a single shot over Justin Thomas.

Elsewhere, Sergio Garcia rolled back the years to win at the Sanderson Farms Championship, while arguably the most dramatic tournament so far was the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, where Scotland's Martin Laird won a dramatic three-man playoff to claim the title.

The 2021 action has sizzled early on in warmer climes, too, with big guns like Brooks Koepka claiming the Phoenix Open, Patrick Reed winning the Farmers Insurance Open, and rising star Daniel Berger taking home the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The only real bad news for fans of the game is Tiger's continued absence through injury, with the first WGC event of the season in Mexico failing to see the star return - his early-2021 car accident making it difficult to give a firm Tiger Woods injury update once again.

Who won the PGA Tour last year? 2019/20 season recap

That depends on who you ask - and how you measure success in golf. But in most people's eyes (and the eyes of the PGA), the answer is Dustin Johnson.

Johnson was in superb form from the moment PGA Tour action resumed back in June and looked unbeatable towards the end of the season, winning two out of three events in the 2020 FedExCup Playoffs including the Tour Championship - making him the official winner of the 2019/20 PGA Tour. In fact, only a miraculous 66-foot Jon Rahm putt stopped him from making it a clean sweep and he's still world no. 1 as we look ahead to Augusta.

However, if you measure success by major victories, then Collin Morikawa's maiden victory at the PGA Championship certainly deserves a mention - as does Bryson DeChambeau's win at Winged Foot in the 2020 US Open - even though it technically took place after the start of the 2020/21 season.

The 2024 PGA Tour is in full bloom, as the top male golfers compete on some of the world's most storied golf courses. Early in the season, Scottie Scheffler,  Xander Schauffele  and  Rory McIlroy  have already established themselves at the  top of the leaderboard , with  Jon Rahm  and  Viktor Hovland  nipping at their cleats.

Figuring out how to watch and stream each tournament can prove as difficult as trying to outshoot Scheffler. While we can't help you with your golf game, we can take the guesswork out of finding out how to watch every golf tournament on the 2024 PGA Tour. 

What network carries the 2024 PGA Tour

The 2024 PGA Tour will broadcast live on Golf Channel, CBS, NBC and ESPN. The PGA Tour will stream on ESPN+ and the live TV streaming services listed below. Not every channel will air every event.

CBS broadcasts an average of 20 weekend events per PGA Tour season, while NBC broadcasts weekend coverage of the PGA Tour for an average of 10 events each season. Golf Channel broadcasts early-round and morning weekend coverage of all PGA Tour events -- as well as weekend events not covered on broadcast TV. Golf Channel also carries primetime replays of all PGA Tour events. 

The final three tournaments of the FedEx Cup playoffs alternate each year between CBS and NBC.

2024 RBC Heritage live stream, TV schedule, how to watch online, channel, tee times, radio, golf coverage

There was no rest for the weary with a signature event on tap one week after the masters.

Players have made the short trip from Augusta, Georgia, to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for the 2024 RBC Heritage. In total, 69 golfers teed it up on Harbour Town Golf Links as yet another signature event on the PGA Tour's playing calendar rolls on.

Unlike the Genesis Invitational or Arnold Palmer Invitational, the RBC Heritage does not feature a 36-hole cut, meaning the entirety of the field will be around for the weekend. That is music to the ears to those who missed out on the weekend action at the Masters, including the likes of Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman.

Spieth, the 2022 champion, looks to kickstart his season after a disappointing showing at Augusta National. He is no stranger to bouncing back at the RBC Heritage, following a missed cut at the year's first major championship with a win a week later in Hilton Head. He's not in contention to win this tournament, but he's certainly playing better than he did last week.

This tournament, like the rest on the PGA Tour these days, goes through Scottie Scheffler. The world No. 1 aims to collect his fourth trophy in his last five tournaments, and he holds the 54-hole lead entering the final day of play. Fresh off slipping on his second green jacket, Scheffler has widened the gap between him and the rest of the world and shows no signs of slowing down. Collin Morikawa and Ludvig Åberg -- just as they did at the Masters -- are breathing down Scheffler's neck on Sunday.

The Tour Championship is the swan song for the PGA Tour and its field is stocked with only the most elite golfers. If you're a fan of the sport, it's a weekend you don't want to miss.

PGA Tour August 24-27: Tour Championship

Finishing up the PGA Tour for the year is the Tour Championship, which has been ending the run of PGA golf events for 10 years now. 

Hosted at the East Lake Golf Club outside Atlanta, Georgia, this tournament is a who's who of the best golfers of the year, as qualification is arranged via FedEx Cup points.

 You can find the full field list here , but the top 5 players by FedEx Cup ranking are Scottie Scheffler,  Viktor Hovland, Rory McIlroy, John Rahm and Lucas Glover, and all will be in attendance. The higher a player's ranking in the Cup, the better their starting score under par is, giving an advantage (though not an overwhelming one) to better-performing players of the year.

How to watch PGA Tour 2023 in the US

It's hard to move in the US without bumping your foot on a streaming service that'll air the PGA Tour; that is to say, it's playing on various services.

An affordable option to watch online is ESPN Plus , as the $9.99-per-month sports streaming service offers multiple streams of each tournament, with different feeds focusing on holes or golfers, making it a great pick if you don't need a whole live TV service.

Various championships are playing on TV channels: The Golf Channel handles week day coverage of most golf tournaments throughout the year. Weekend coverage for all tournaments are either on NBC or CBS. For the Travelers Championship, it is airing on CBS.

If you have these channels through traditional TV services, then you can watch each tournament with ease. But if not, several live TV streaming services get The Golf Channel, ESPN, NBC and CBS in one easy package. FuboTV ($74.99 monthly) Hulu with Live TV ($69.99 monthly) and YouTube TV ($64.99 monthly) provide all three channels over the internet. Sling TV, meanwhile, carries the Golf Channel, ESPN and NBC through its various packages (starting at $39.99 monthly). 

CBS and NBC coverage of PGA Tour events are also going to be available to live stream on the networks' associated streaming services, Paramount Plus and Peacock .

How to watch PGA Tour 2023 in the UK

If you live in the UK, there's a simple one-stop shop for all your PGA Tour viewing, and that's going to be Sky Sports.

Various parts of PGA Tour tournaments air on the main Sky Sports channel, as well as Sky Sports Golf and Sky Sports Main Channel, but luckily all three of those are included in the same streaming package.

2021 PGA Championship streaming: How to watch the PGA online

The Masters may still be fresh in everyone’s mind, but it’s time for major championship golf once again with the 2021 PGA Championship at Kiawah Island’s Ocean Course . Here’s all the information you need to watch the 2021 PGA Championship streaming live online.

How to stream the PGA Championship online

For this year’s PGA Championship, golf fans will be treated to wall-to-wall coverage of virtually every shot throughout all four rounds thanks to the 2021 tournament’s broadcast partners, ESPN and CBS. ESPN+ , ESPN’s streaming service, will be the place to go to catch most of the action online.

For Thursday and Friday’s rounds, you can stream 12 straight hours of traditional coverage. ESPN+ will carry exclusive streaming coverage from 7 a.m-1 p.m. ET for the first two rounds. Then the coverage switches to TV on ESPN from 1-7 p.m. ET, which you can also stream online via the ESPN App.

WATCH THE 2021 PGA ON ESPN+

But that’s not all. ESPN+ will offer even more live coverage with eight featured groups each day, four in the morning and four in the afternoon, so you can track your favorite player’s every move. Or you can sit down all day and watch Featured Hole coverage of holes 16, 17 and 18.

For Saturday and Sunday, ESPN+ again will have exclusive coverage of the first two hours of play, followed by three hours of ESPN TV coverage. The broadcast then shifts to CBS each day from 1-7 p.m. ET, which can be streamed live online with Paramount+ . Finally, ESPN+ will provide Featured Group coverage of six pairings each on Saturday and Sunday, with Featured Hole coverage on 15, 16 and 17.

Nancy Lopez Knows Exactly How Nelly Korda Is Feeling During a Record Streak

The Hall of Famer was a sensation in 1978 and can relate to the pressure now on Korda.

The attention can be a bit overwhelming, perhaps even daunting at times. But Nancy Lopez doesn’t mind. She’s handling it with the same vigor today that she did all those years ago, embracing the onslaught with the same positive approach she employed when she was a wide-eyed 21-year-old rookie on the LPGA Tour.

Lopez is getting a lot of calls these days to talk about Nelly Korda, the winner last Sunday at the Chevron Championship , her second major title and her fifth consecutive victory on the LPGA Tour.

It matched a record set by Lopez in 1978.

“When I first started watching her, I remember shaking my head thinking what a great player she is and if she ever figures out how good she is, she’s going to dominate this tour,” Lopez says. “And it's coming true. I hope she keeps doing what she is doing.”

Lopez was taking a bunch of calls one day earlier this week from her Florida home. Korda’s recent success has elicited memories of a young player from New Mexico who not only took the women’s game by storm 46 years ago but also became a national sports story.

Sports Illustrated put her on the cover of its weekly magazine as Lopez piled up victories, nine in all and a record five straight. The streak was later matched by Annika Sorenstam in 2004-05 and by Korda on Sunday, and it remains the LPGA record for consecutive victories in events entered.

“There was a lot of pressure and of course once I started winning and the press kept asking me those questions,” Lopez says. “The thing about me was I wasn’t shy. I think Nelly is a little shy. I loved her energy on Sunday. She came out of that a little bit for me. But the press made me who I was on the LPGA Tour.

“They wrote a lot about my success. They wrote about my failures. People wanted to know why I didn’t do well that week. And I’d be in the press room for an hour and a half because I liked to talk. Nelly might be a bit more shy in that way, but the press got a lot of stories out of me. And they kind of opened up my world to all the fans who came out to watch me play.”

Lopez, who played two years at Tulsa before turning pro, became the only player to win LPGA player of the year, rookie of the year and the Vare Trophy for low scoring average in a single season.

At a time when tennis was enjoying a boon, especially with the likes of Billie Jean King and Chris Evert, women’s golf was struggling for relevance.

“It couldn’t have happened at a better time, and nobody could have handled it better,” said LPGA Hall of Famer and broadcaster Judy Rankin on the 20-year anniversary of Lopez’s feat. “I don’t ever remember her acting badly—ever—just like I don’t remember Arnold Palmer acting badly.

“Nancy had that fire to her and that great smile. I think it changed women’s golf for good.”

Lopez’s streak began with the Greater Baltimore Classic in May and ended with the Bankers Trust Classic in Rochester, N.Y. , a stretch of six events in which she skipped one that was won by JoAnne Carner at the Peter Jackson Classic in Canada. She won her first major championship, the LPGA Championship, during that stretch.

“Her whole year was so unbelievable,” Carner said. “The thing that impressed me the most was that Nancy could handle the pressure. Everybody loved her and the press just mobbed her like no LPGA player ever before.”

Lopez got in the habit of arriving at the golf course two hours before her tee times to deal with the usual crush of attention. And she stayed late afterward doing interviews and trying to fit in practice.

It was a different kind of mania 20 years prior to Tiger Woods coming along. But unlike Woods, who often fought the spotlight while continuing to win, Lopez reveled in it.

“I didn’t have any money starting out and now I’m winning and now I have all this attention,” she says. “It was fun going into the press room and talking about golf. I probably didn’t realize it until later but during my rookie year, I’d be playing and then go straight to the press room and then I’d leave and go practice and I’d go back to the locker room and there’d be nobody there. Everybody was gone. And I didn’t form a relationship with a lot of other players. There was some resentment.

“There was a good bit of talk if I was a flash in the pan. Would I be able to do well the next year? Was it luck? I decided I was going to prove myself.”

Lopez won eight more times in 1979. “And I felt I was carrying the LPGA on my shoulders,” she says. “We needed players to do interviews and do the press conferences and go back to tournaments. Back then I’d go to all the cities where I had won to help that tournament. And it didn’t bother me. I didn’t have any responsibility.”

In her rookie year, Lopez said she would routinely play in Monday pro-ams which paid her $500. The money was good at a time when purses were a pittance compared to today and “I didn’t want my dad to spend any more money on me.”

Later, after she started winning, those same pro-ams were paying her $25,000 an appearance.

“I would say to my manager, Peter Johnson, are those people crazy? They’re going to pay me $25,000 to play golf for one day?’’ Lopez says. “It was a great time in my life.”

Lopez, now 67, went on to win 48 times in her Hall of Fame career. She counts Hall of Famers Pat Bradley and Patty Sheehan as the players who forced her to get better, bringing a competitive aspect throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s. Three of her victories were majors, all at the LPGA Championship, but she never won a U.S. Women’s Open, four times finishing second. Lopez also played on one winning U.S. Solheim Cup team and captained another to victory.

It was in a role as an assistant captain to Juli Inkster that she first got to know both Nelly Korda and her older sister, Jessica. She spent time with them in their Solehim Cup pods and could see what was potentially coming.

“There was a lot of positive energy around her,” Lopez said. “I felt that Nelly is going to have to realize how good she is. Inside, she is the only one who knows if she is going to hit that great shot or chip or hit that great putt. I felt that when I was playing well. Everything just seemed really easy. It’s a matter of waking up and looking in the mirror and saying I’m really good. And I think she’s probably feeling that now.

“I would love to see her play the best golf she can play for the rest of her career. This is the time for her to accomplish so much and break records. I don’t know if she is a goal-setter, but you have to set goals high. I liked setting goals and liked to achieve them. You can always be better.”

Korda was scheduled to play this week’s LPGA event in Los Angeles but withdrew , something that Lopez understands—and also had to deal with during her time.

She felt tremendous pressure to play every week, not wanting to let down sponsors in cities when she preferred to take time off.

“But you realize it’s your responsibility,” Lopez says. “There were times I didn’t want to be there but I did my best. I hope Nelly wraps her arms around that. She needs to carry the tour right now. It’s a lot of pressure. But she will bring more sponsors to the tour, more fans. And I think she can play like this for a long time.”
