Inteletravel / Plan Net independent travel agents -how do they make money/scam?!

Thierryhenryneedisaymore · 10/04/2022 18:38

Talking to friend today who has recently signed up as an independent travel agent after following someone on social media. I've heard a lot about this lately and i'm very curious. She's a sensible person but i am a bit suspicious about the claims of how much you can save/ even more how much you can make if you recruit others... so friend got interested after following someone, apparently they call themselves 'mentors', this lady who she signed up with apparently was until recently in a normal job, normal house, she lives in the UK, and, has now recruited a lot of independent agents like my friend, desperate for cheap holidays, these people have been recruited since lockdown, and this lady seems to all of a sudden be earning up to 500k a year? How does this work?!!! Is it a scam? This person has a, new house, massive and bought for a lot of mobey, squilllions of expensive holidays a year, high expense lifestyle. I am gobsmacked. How do you make this type of money recruiting people? I have read about MLM but i dont see how you can get a mortgage these days with that type of insecure income? Am i missing something?!! Very curious.

Someone tried to recruit me into it and I was interested as I know travel agents like Hayes have homeworkers, so I assumed it was a similar set up and genuine work. I realised it wasn't when there was emphasis on recruiting others to join and I noticed all the "boss babe" posts by her on Facebook. You have to pay a fee to join and then there are monthly fees to use the booking software. What irritated me was how they market the holidays. Suppose you've got a beach front hotel. You have to post things saying "Naice Beach Hotel - our price £50 a night, Booking.com £80 a night." What you fail to mention is, your £50 room is a basic one round the back over looking the car park, while the Booking.com one is a premium sea view room. I couldn't mislead friends and family by thinking they were getting a good deal when really they were not. This post explains how it all works: uk.trustpilot.com/reviews/621f55a4445f5107dca5e53d

I have just read that myself but am just surprised if it's that dishonest and they are not posting like for like comparisons for holiday when they say they are. Then you have all these 'celebrities' doing it too? How do you go from veing a normal income to making a 6 figure salary from it as a 3 or 4 star 'director' in q couple of years? Without booking any holidays, just recruiting people??!! I just cant understand the piles of money coming in. She showed me a page for the lady earning a packet and the mind honestly boggles. And like i say, how do you get a huge mortgage from the banks with that type of job. It's staggering.

A well known ex wag does it (with the surname of a bank)

Stormcharmeleon, there are a few people doing it. Just all seems odd, i can't get my head around the money some people appear to be making.

@Thierryhenryneedisaymore Just seen your post. Inteletravel is a scam. It is a front for a pyeamid scheme called PlanNet Marketing. The people who recruit in large numbers make some money but no one makes money selling travel. The costs of joining, training and staying in the scheme are almost always greater than the money made. One of the U.K. directors of IT paid ABTA off for membership. They were due to be the subject of a media expose but luckily for them other world events overtook. It’s worth googling “antiMLM” to find out more about PM and IT. If it was a genuine travel business why did its profits go up when travel was banned during the pandemic but lots of people were losing their jobs?

Why are there so many of these companies that operate on the premise of people scamming one another? It's horrible.

I can’t remember the name of the account but there’s a girl on TikTok who used to work for one of these who explains all about how it works and scams people. She says most of the time, the holidays they have access to can actually be found cheaper online so there’s no point booking through one of these “travel agents” anyway.

How are you sure - and I mean sure - that anyone has a £500k income? Are you certain that the houses you see aren’t just rented for a few days?

Just found her, this is her page on TikTok - __dearsociety

"500k salary" If it sounds too good to be true, then it's probably too good to be true I often see online travel agents advertising deals abroad for X amazing price I know that I can buy my own flights & own accommodation for cheaper

There was one “successful” Inteletravel woman who left and confessed all in a series of YouTube videos. She had a huge downline (the only way to make money in MLM) but when she left she worked out that even as one of their most successful recruiters by the time she factored in what she had spent she was earning 70p an hour.

@MartinMartinMarti

Sorry for late replies. I tried to tactfully mention concerns but it wasn't appreciated😬 so i won't be able to say much more. I hope she doesn't regret it. There seems to be a hierarchy of agents and smaller teams and the upline seems to make all the big money. This lady i mentioned is definitely making big money. Big house renovation, sudden growth, plenty of lavish holidays with family, regular business class travel, big social media following, a 'director' with so many stars which suggests 6 figure income. Husband seems to have normal job. You just could not live that life on credit cards, it's too much. This was by all accounts a normal person on bog standard income 2 years ago. I definitely think some people like her are making money out of it but minority perhaps, and they show / flaunt 'the life' to others who then scramble to sign up. I think that's the category my friend falls into and it's odd as she is normally lecturing the rest of us a lot of the time 😁. There are a few 'celebrities' doing this too. It just sounds a bit like a cult 😬😬, all of this gushing about mentoring/ travel / destination experts after a few online sessions just seems crazy.

Oh wow that trust pilot review is mine 😁 Have to to say if anyone is interested in getting into the travel industry there are many other ways you can with no experience. See below link to Travel Gossip Weekly where they have done all the research....please avoid Inteletravel/Plan net like the plague. www.travelgossip.co.uk/latestnews/travel-gossips-new-guide-to-help-you-find-the-best-homeworking-agency/?fbclid=IwAR05fcFcJ6Ue2yf2wcwXxG-k-s7qHl9ZvcqHhnSfn3EI3K4G7OcaEx2cYuY

You can also check out Dear Society on You Tube, she has done some deep dives into Plan net/Inteletravel. Really helpful

I read all those comments. It's funny how you saying between people make millions and its a scam. If it would be a scam so many people wouldn't make so much money. You get paid for your hard work, recruiting people, learning about travel, about business, selling packages, flights, hotels, parks.. I started 6 months ago both businesses and getting paid for the work i do. It's not a scam, if it didn't work out for you doesn't mean it's a scam. Scam where people losing me. Here I earned over 8000 dollars just in 6 months. It's a business it's not a work. If you can't run your business to make money then something wrong with you not with the company where other people make money. Sorry but I hate when people say scam where you getting paid

Katekatekate777 any money you make is coming from orher poor sods below you. How much revenue have you made from selling your product itself to individuals not employed as part of the programme? Ie not sales to downline to start business etc

KateKateKate777 · 14/08/2023 01:25

And heres the Hun defending the site like they always do, why did you dig up an old thread just to say this. It is a scam it's practically a pyramid scheme.

The usual inarticulate response from the pyramid scheme playbook. I doubt you’ve made money @KateKateKate777 but if you have, or think you have, it’s probably from fleecing other recruits or from internal sales to others already signed up. If you’ve made money do you really think that means PlanNet/Inteletravel isn’t a scam? Wake up.

A good friend of mine has signed up to this. I'm a natural cynic but I don't want to lose her friendship. She'll be hurt if I don't support her. What do you do? Caution her? Nod smile and don't buy anything?

If you want to get in the travel business, call a local agency, one that has been around for a long time. If they are wanting to recurit other people (that is all they care about, and that is how they make their money) don't do it. It amazies me how many people sign up with these companies (there are many). Some people right near me, that never call my agency (which is local and we have been open for 32 years, plus we have a store front) and they sign up and they are out of the business in 6 months. Sad but true

I tried to tactfully mention concerns but it wasn't appreciated It rarely is, OP - at least, not while they're in the initial throes of gushing about how wonderful it all is - and gullible people tend not to enjoy being told they're gullible no matter how nicely you phrase it If as you say she's usually sensible all you can do is be there for her when the light dawns, but obviously don't get drawn into anything in the meantime

MLM central. Myself and a friend were being 'recruited' by someone we know a few months back. It is the biggest pile of shite.

How is your friend doing with this OP? It's def not a pyramid scheme but it definitely is MLM/ network marketing. I don't have an issue with that aspect as even doTerra oils and Neals Yard Remedies have MLM (I used to do both but there earnings are low in comparison as travel is just more lucrative) I signed up to the travel agency part and make decent commission as a side hustle. I booked by boss holiday for her for 5k and made 400 commission after intele took their cut (30%) For me it's an easy side hustle. And thinking of doing the network side of it as some of my friends wants to join as well because we get really cheap rates on practically any hotel on the world (off to Jumeirah beach hotel this summer with a 50% discount - just had to show my travel agency licence certificate) You have to to the Atol and Abta training otherwise you can't book travel so it's a legit business.

Is this program the best fit for you? Is it worthwhile to participate in this program? Is PlanNet Marketing’s success genuine or a pyramid scheme? Let us give it a try.

PlanNet Marketing Review – A Sneak Peek

Plannet Marketing

PlanNet Marketing, also known as Planet Marketing, was founded by Don Bradley, who was active in the network marketing &  multi-level marketing  space for a long time.

They have also collaborated with InteleTravel as part of their MLM business opportunity, which allows their members to earn money by selling travel deals to potential clients. The two companies joined hands, and as a result, the  business opportunity  aspect of this business came into existence soon after.

You can become a Plannet Marketing travel agent and sell discounted travel/tour deals, buy some for yourself, or send referrals to the company so they sign up as a distributor (like you).

The deals include vacation discounts, hotels, resorts, cruises, car rentals, and airplane tickets. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can do a combination of everything and truly light it up and skyrocket your earning potential.

What do the PlanNet Marketing Products entail?

PlanNet Marketing is a service-based company. And it does not have a tangible product. Instead, it provides cheap travel services through InteleTravel, a travel booking network launched in 1992 by James Ferrara.

PlanNet Marketing items sold by InteleTravel include airline tickets, auto rentals, and hotel and resort reservations. They also offer luxurious packages such as vacations, cruises, and weddings.

Who Is The Founder Of PlanNet Marketing?

Who Owns Plannet Marketing

PlanNet Marketing was founded by Andy Cauthen and Don Bradley. Don Bradley is the CEO, while Cauthen is the president and chief financial officer. They both have experience in marketing and business, having had their own business before founding PlanNet Marketing.

Regardless of their questionable pasts, Don and Andy are now successful network marketers. They are well-versed in the knowledge, expertise, and talents required to operate Travel MLM Companies.

How Plan Net Marketing Works

PlanNet Marketing is an added multi-level marketing layer on top of the travel company. To make money with the program, you must take one of the following ways:

  • Sign up as an InteleTravel Agent (ITA) and bring sales
  • Become an affiliate and get people to join the biz op through you, earning commissions on their sales.

It’s worth noting PlanNet marketing doesn’t sell anything, but InteleTravel does. Instead, you can directly sign up with the latter as an agent and make commissions on your sales. With the former, the only difference is that you’re eligible to earn commissions on your multi-level downlines.

To be an ITA, you must pay a one-time fee of $179.95 and then $39.95 monthly. You can earn 70 – 80% commissions on the referrals you bring and $50 for recruiting other agents.

What is the Cost of joining PlanNet Marketing?

Join As Plannet Marketing Representative

To become a Plannet Marketing Representative, the start-up costs only $19.95. And you will also pay a monthly administration fee of $19.95.

The features you will acquire in joining as a Plannet Marketing representative include having a personalized Plannet Marketing replicated website, direct sales commission on ITA sales, and 90-day refund policy, among others.

If you want to become a PlanNet Rep and own your InteleTravel business, you must join as a Plannet Representative first. You will receive an email with your Rep account’s website name and login information. And you can proceed to your Rep’s Virtual Office website and purchase your ITA.

Is the PlanNet Marketing Compensation Plan worth the monthly fees?

As previously stated, there are two ways you can earn money as a PlanNet Marketing representative. You’ll earn commissions by selling travel-related products through InteleTravel (retails) and establishing a network of Independent InteleTravel Agents (recruitment).

Inteletravel Advisor Commission

1. Retailing Commissions

InteleTravel will receive commissions ranging from 14% to 28% on each travel-related service sold to customers, depending on the offering.  The remainder of the proceeds is distributed to PlanNet Marketing and its suppliers.  70% of the 14% to 28% fee will be paid to you, the ITA who sold the products.

An example, suppose you sold a $1,000 reduced trip package with InteleTravel’s base commission of 28%.

$1,000 x 0.28 (28%) = $280

As a result of this single transaction, InteleTravel earned $280. In contrast, you will receive 70% of the $280.

Your retail commission for selling the $1,000 goods under the key parameters will be $280 x 0.7 = $196. You will also earn commissions on the products your recruits sell and whenever a new ITA joins InteleTravel with you as the sponsor (recruiter).

2. Recruiting Commission

With the PlanNet Marketing compensation plan, there are methods to make more money through recruiting people.

You have to be prepared to acquire a large number of people for this business opportunity because that’s the only way you’ll be able to earn the following commissions:

2.1 InteleTravel Agents Commissions

You can earn $50 for each InteleTravel Agent you sign up for. This commission has no ceiling, so the more individuals you can persuade to become an ITA, the more money you’ll make.

2.2 50% Matching Bonus

Intele Travel Commission

When your recruited ITA recruits a new ITA under your organization, you will receive a 50% matching bonus. (The person you recruit recruits someone else)

Your recruit will receive $50 for each new ITA enrolled, and you will earn $25.

2.3 Residual Commissions

Residual Income

To pay for this commission, PlanNet Marketing employs a forced 39 matrix.

You are at the top of the wage scale, with three people directly behind you. Every one of those people is also permitted to have three people directly beneath them, up to a maximum of nine levels.

Each job in the matrix will be filled by recruiting new InteleTravel Agents, who will pay a monthly fee of $39.95. You will earn $4 for each slot every time these users beneath you renew their monthly charge.

2.4 Team Bonus (Gold Builder)

This commission has a different pay structure known as a UniLevel MLM compensation plan. You will be placed at the top of UniLevel, while all your recruits will be just beneath you (level 1). Your recruits’ invites will be placed beneath them (level 2), and so on.

You must recruit and retain 9 InteleTravel Agents to obtain the Gold Builder Bonus.

You will receive a $10 override commission for each InteleTravel affiliate membership sold in your team, up to 6 layers deep.

2.5 Director Bonus

Override commissions will be paid to PlanNet Marketing representatives who recruit and retain a certain number of InteleTravel Agents each month.

  • 1 Star Director – 100 ITAs awards you an extra $500 each month
  • $1000/month for a 2-star director with 300 ITAs.
  • $2000/month for a three-star director with 500 ITAs.
  • 4 Star Director – 1500 ITas per month, $5000
  • 5-star director with 4000 ITAs and a monthly salary of $10,000
  • 6 Star Director – 10,000 ITAs each month, $16,000
  • 7-star director with 25,000 ITAs and a monthly salary of $30,000
  • 8-star director with 50,000 ITAs and a monthly salary of $50,000
  • 9-Star Director – 100,000 ITAs/month

2.6 Rank Achievement Bonus

These are one-time bonuses awarded when you reach a certain level in the PlanNet Marketing affiliate hierarchy or earn a monthly commission.

  • Obtain the 5-Star Director – Rolex watch
  • Make $8,333 per month – Sapphire ring
  • Ruby ring – $20,833/month
  • $41,667 per month – Diamond ring
  • $83,333 per month – Diamond ring

There was no statement of the size or carat weight of the gemstones on each ring, so I can’t estimate their worth.

PlanNet Marketing, as Don states, has an “Aggressive” compensation scheme.

I suppose it’s true if he means you must be aggressive in recruiting individuals to make a reasonable living.

Because while you can make money by selling travel services through InteleTravel, you will make more money by recruiting new ITAs to your team. You won’t make much money or last long if you can’t establish a large network of InteleTravel Agents under your team.

How much money can you make using PlanNet Marketing?

With all the figures above, I can’t blame you for thinking that spending $60 per month isn’t that awful when your revenue potential with PlanNet Marketing is so high.

Hold on to that concept for a moment.

Here is the most recent income disclosure given by the company.

Income Disclosure

As you can see, in 2021, 92.17% of people who joined PlanNet marketing only had an average annual income of $44.54.

That is, the majority of people make less than $10 per month! Is this the kind of life-changing money you’re looking for?

Furthermore, PlanNet Marketing discloses in the same paper that 77.73% of total representatives did not make a penny. As in zero!

Income Disclosure Additional Statement

Remember, these users who did not earn money have been paying administrative costs of $59.90 monthly!!!

They not only did not make money with PlanNet Marketing but also lost money. Who knows how long they attempted to make this thing function? Imagine someone trying to make it work for a full year and spent more than $700.

Is PlanNet Marketing a Scam?

Businesses that solely (or mostly) rely on recruiting people to fall under ‘pyramid schemes’ as per the Federal Trade Commission/FTC. PlanNet Marketing definitely bases a lot on bringing other agents onto the system.

Firstly, PlannetMarketing will cost you an arm and a leg to be an agent with the company. Secondly, the payment plans aren’t very promising (including the $50 one-time you receive on referrals).

If you leave all that aside, the fact they use a multi-level marketing model, which heavily relies on recruiting people, doesn’t make the business future-proof. The FTC can always hop in, interfere and make them overhaul the system or take it down entirely.

Add to the fact a very few percent of people make decent money with MLM systems, and it’s not for the average joe. Most people struggle with MLM and hardly make $1000 yearly, let alone per month. If recruiting is your thing, then that’s a different story altogether.

Who Is It Intended For?

Plannet Marketing Business Card

It is intended for those with previous expertise in the multi-level marketing industry. Those with experience recruiting and selling trip packages are also invited to apply.

It is a fantastic alternative for individuals to make money online in the MLM company. You can quickly communicate, build, and manage your company’s marketing activities with the PlanNet Marketing Mobile app.

How many countries does PlanNet Marketing operate in?

Plannet Marketing Global

A PlanNet representative will market and sell the InteleTravel Product to individuals who want to turn their passion for travel into a flexible income potential and reward source.

Many InteleTravel customers and Travel Agents in the United States and 40 other countries have discovered the key to a stress-free trip. As a result, the Agent’s social circle grows and acquires new skills.

Is PlanNet Marketing a Trustworthy Business Opportunity?

The concept of “Leverage” that PlanNet Marketing employs in its business is sensible. In reality, all MLM companies use the same concept. For those who are unfamiliar with the term, it refers to:

  • Leverage – Building a sales team – Recruitment

Yes, leverage in MLM means recruiting people and don’t get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with it. However, the Federal Trade Commission created a clear line between a genuine MLM to a pyramid scheme.

According to the FTC, if a distributor’s principal source of income is from selling the products/services, there is no need to be concerned.

Otherwise, you may be a victim of a pyramid scheme.  On the good side, anyone, including non-members, can purchase PlanNet Marketing travel services through InteleTravel.

This is a clear indication that reps have other options for earning money outside recruiting. But now comes the tricky part.

While it is true that PlanNet Marketing, via InteleTravel, pays you commissions when a product is sold, higher commissions depend on recruitment.

For example, the InteleTravel Agent Bonus and 50% Matching Bonus compensate you directly by bringing in a new employee. There is no product sold here because you only offer an InteleTravel membership.

And, if you look at the company’s incentive structure, you’ll notice that the majority of the residual commissions are based on the number of individuals on your team rather than the volume of product sales to customers.

  • Travel discounts are accessible to you and your guests.
  • The founder has a strong track record of accomplishment in network marketing.
  • You can earn money by supporting others in their efforts to save money.
  • It is a legitimate organization that allows anyone to become a home-based business owner, especially those interested in travel-related services.
  • An income disclosure statement is provided, and it is important information that will allow you to make an informed decision based on facts.
  • It has a 90 satisfaction guarantee on all initial costs, and other payments are refundable within 30 days.
  • The startup expenditures are considerable, and the monthly membership fee is significantly more.
  • Recruitment is essential to your ability to earn a living.
  • The majority of people did not profit from the endeavor.
  • Business plan with a pyramid-like structure.
  • Everyone isn’t made out for the business world.

PlanNet Marketing Alternatives

Should you participate in plannet marketing.

With this organization, everyone has the “same potential to succeed,” but why do over 97% fail to make a decent living? Network marketing requires a specific set of talents, attributes, and expertise to succeed.

For example, while Don describes this business opportunity as “high paying,” I believe it is better suited to persons with experience in the tourism industry.

But it does not stop there. Booking a trip or a hotel is a delicate subject, and people will not completely trust someone they meet online.

You’ll need persuading abilities and credibility so that others will put their trust in you. You should consider that, with today’s Internet and technology, booking a trip is no longer complicated.

For example, an increasing number of people (including myself) are planning their own vacations, so why do they need travel brokers like you?

You might tell them you have the “best offers” or “best discounts.” However, as you may know, PlanNet Marketing and InteleTravel are not the only companies offering such deals.

And to make it clear, I’m not arguing that you cannot attain your growth targets with this enterprise. (However, almost 97% have already failed.) I’m just giving you a taste of what it’ll be like after you join PlanNet Marketing.

My Final Verdict On Plannet Marketing

If you enjoy traveling and want to establish your home-based travel agency, this could be the business for you. But I don’t see the potential in this endeavor.

And it’s those pitiful profits that are reflected in their income disclosure statement. Of course, I don’t know your perspective, and you might be the exception who can make this work. So if you believe you can, go for it. However, this is not an enterprise I would suggest to anyone, especially when you have better alternatives like Work from Home Moms or jobs offered on FlexJobs .

If you enjoy traveling, you don’t have to join an MLM company and spend time marketing and recruiting people to help you expand your business. And you don’t have to be a travel agent to start a successful home-based business in the travel industry. You may create your travel blog with ease.

You can also monetize your website through affiliate marketing connections with any travel provider. It’s also acceptable if you don’t enjoy traveling. You may create a successful online affiliate marketing business based on your interest, hobby, or passion.

So if you’re interested in  making money online , we recommend you check out our top recommendation instead. It utilizes the affiliate marketing business model.

Bare Naked Scam - We Tried It So You Don't Have To

PlanNet Marketing Review – What Reps Wish They Knew Before Joining

A wise man once said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

Such is the opportunity that PlanNet Marketing offers – turning your passion for travel into a “part-time, full-time, or even a big-time income.”

But as amazing as that sounds, you’re probably worried that this business might not be profitable enough, or worse, PlanNet Marketing might turn out to be a scam.

Well, for starters, getting involved in a travel business is not a bad idea.

According to the World Travel and Tourism Council, the industry generated $8.8 trillion and supported 319 million jobs worldwide in 2018 alone. ( Source )

Basically, everyone you know and most people on the planet want to travel (at least once a year), making all of them your potential customers.

So, can PlanNet Marketing allow you to earn lots of money from this supposed lucrative market? That’s what we are going to find out in this review.

PlanNet Marketing Business Summary

Product quality.

PlanNet Marketing offers discounted and “cheaper” travel services to the customers through the InteleTravel booking portal. However, since competition in the industry is extremely high, the prices are still not guaranteed to be the cheapest, nor the services the best compared to other providers. Customers will still need to do their own research to decide.

Success Difficulty

You would think that because you’re offering exclusive deals and great travel discounts, the travel services PlanNet Marketing promotes will “sell for itself.” Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. Have you considered there are other booking portals like Expedia where people don’t need a 3rd party to plan their trips? It will require a great deal of skills to convince someone that they need your services. And, you can’t rely solely on promoting travel packages to succeed with this company, you need to build a large sales team. That’s where most people get stuck, mostly because they didn’t have means to find a  constant flow of prospects .

Cost to Join

You will need at least $200 to get a proper start as a sales rep. Furthermore, you will also need to pay an administrative fee of around $60 per month to maintain your membership and to continue earning commissions.

I don’t know about you but this is not a small amount by any means. Also, the monthly fee has proven to be quite a steep price for most reps to keep up, especially for newbies struggling to make regular product sales.

Overall rating :  2 / 5

PlanNet-Marketing-Review-Bare-Naked-Scam

The first thing you have to consider before joining PlanNet Marketing is if you travel more than one to two times a year, because if you don’t, you won’t be putting the membership to good use.

On the business side, you absolutely need to widen your social circle and  learn how to find a constant flow of prospects outside your warm market.

Because let’s face it, not every person you know will travel a lot. Most of them will only travel once or twice a year at best, so if you only limit your prospects to the people you know, you aren’t likely going to make a lot of money as a PlanNet Marketing representative.

And, if selling travel services discounts and recruiting people is the not really something you are passionate about, then may I suggest that you learn how to make money online with your hobbies and interests?

What is PlanNet Marketing?

PlanNet Marketing is a travel service provider company that operates in a Multi-level Marketing (MLM) business model through InteleTravel .

The company was founded by Donald “Don” Bradley in 2015, with Andy Cauthen as the current CEO.

It promotes discounted travel services, and it offers a business opportunity where you can make money by selling the company products and recruiting people.

Other MLM companies in the same Travel industry are World Ventures , iBuumerang , Evolution Travel , and JIFU Travel .

Donald Bradley – PlanNet Marketing Founder

Don Bradley is a veteran network marketer.

He was previously a top-earning distributor of Paycation (aka Traverus Global ), another travel MLM company.

Why Don decided to leave Paycation (despite earning millions) is something he didn’t discuss.

Donald-Bradley-Paycation

But I’m guessing it has something to do with the company getting a lot of heat from the FTC for its recruitment-based compensation plan .

Although wasn’t mentioned in the header, another person leading PlanNet Marketing today is Andy Cauthen.

He is a known personality in YTB (Your Travel Biz) together with Holton Buggs before it got into trouble with the FTC for being a pyramiding scheme .

YTB eventually went bankrupt.

Despite their sketchy pasts, one cannot deny that Don and Andy are successful network marketers. They both have the knowledge, experience, and skills to lead an MLM company to success.

What are the PlanNet Marketing Products?

PlanNet Marketing doesn’t have a physical product since it is a service-based business.

Instead, it offers discounted travel services through InteleTravel ; a travel booking portal co-founded by James Ferrara in 1992.

The PlanNet Marketing products retailed through InteleTravel include airline tickets, car rentals, hotels, and resorts bookings. They also have luxurious packages like a vacation, cruises, and weddings. Even golf trips!

Should you be interested, I also wrote a detailed review for InteleTravel a while back.

How Does PlanNet Marketing Work?

In layman’s terms, PlanNet Marketing merely provides the travel services that InteleTravel sells and promotes to other people.

If you want to make money as a PlanNet Marketing representative, you’ll have to become an InteleTravel Agent (ITA) too.

As an ITA, you’ll get exclusive travel discounts for yourself and you’ll also earn commissions for every sale of such services . You will also get the right to sell the InteleTravel membership itself to other people.

PlanNet Marketing calls this concept “Law of Leverage.”

It basically means that you will earn money not only from your own efforts but also from other people’s productivity.

However, the downside of joining PlanNet Marketing is that you’ll have to pay for two separate administrative fees; PlanNet Marketing admin fee and the InteleTravel Agent fee.

How Much Does it Cost to Join PlanNet Marketing?

To become an official PlanNet Marketing representative, you have to pay the following:

  • InteleTravel Agent Enrollment Fee – $179.95 one-time (Monthly Administrative Fee of $39.95 for the first month included)
  • PlanNet Marketing Administrative Fee –  $19.95 per month

You will need to fork in $199.90 on your first month, then $59.90/month for both PlanNet Marketing and InteleTravel administrative fees onward.

For most people, this is a costly investment.

How-Much-Does-It-Cost-To-Join-PlanNet-Marketing

On top of the expensive membership fees, there is also no guarantee that you can indeed make money with this company.

PlanNet Marketing Compensation Plan – Is it worth the monthly fees?

Like I mentioned above, there are two ways for you to make money as a PlanNet Marketing representative.

You’ll earn commissions by selling travel-related products through InteleTravel (retails) and also by building a network of Independent InteleTravel Agents (recruitment).

1. Retailing Commissions

For every travel-related service sold to customers, InteleTravel will earn anywhere between 14% to 28% commissions depending on the type of product.

The rest of the profits goes to the PlanNet Marketing and its suppliers.

Within the 14% to 28% commission, 70% will be paid as commission to you, the ITA who sold the product.

Retail-Commissions

For illustration purposes, let’s say that you sold a discounted travel package for $1,000 with InteleTravel’s base commission at 28%.

$1,000 x 0.28 (28%) = $280

Hence, InteleTravel earned $280 for this single transaction. You, on the other hand, will earn 70% out of the $280.

Therefore, your retail commission for selling the $1,000 product with the conditions above will be $280 x 0.7 = $196.

Furthermore, you will also earn commissions from the products sold by your recruits and every time there is a new ITA that joins InteleTravel with you as the sponsor (recruiter).

2. Recruiting Commissions

There are a few ways you can earn more money through recruitment with the PlanNet Marketing compensation plan.

I hope you’re ready to recruit lots of people to this business opportunity because it’s the only way for you to earn the following commissions:

2.1 InteleTravel Agents Commissions

You can earn $50 for every InteleTravel Agent that you enroll. This commission has no limit, so the more people you can convince to become an ITA, the more $50 you will earn.

2.2 50% Matching Bonus

You will also receive a 50% matching bonus when your personally recruited ITA recruits a new ITA under your organization. (the person you recruit recruits another person)

For every new ITA enrolled by your recruit, he/she will earn $50 and you will earn $25.

InteleTravel-Agent-Bonus

2.3 Residual Commissions

PlanNet Marketing uses a forced 3×9 matrix to pay for this commission.

In this pay structure, you are placed at the top with 3 individuals directly below you.

Every one of those individuals is also allowed to have 3 individuals directly below them down to 9 levels.

Each position in the matrix will be filled by recruiting new InteleTravel Agents, each paying $39.95 a monthly fee.

Every time these people under you renew their monthly fee, you will earn $4 on each position.

PlanNet-Marketing-Compensation-Plan

2.4 Team Bonus (Gold Builder)

This commission uses another pay structure called a UniLevel MLM compensation plan.

In UniLevel, you will be placed at the top while all of your recruits will be placed directly under you (level 1). The recruits of your recruits will be placed directly under them (level 2) and so on.

To earn the Gold Builder Bonus, you’ll need to recruit and maintain 9 InteleTravel Agents personally.

You will earn $10 override commissions per InteleTravel affiliate membership sold in your team up to 6 levels deep.

2.5 Director Bonus

PlanNet Marketing reps who manage to recruit and maintain a specific number of InteleTravel Agents will earn override commissions per month.

  • 1 Star Director – 100 ITAs you earns an additional $500/month
  • 2 Star Director – 300 ITAs $1000/month
  • 3 Star Director – 500 ITAs, $2000/month
  • 4 Star Director – 1500 ITas, $5000/month
  • 5 Star Director – 4000 ITAs, $10,000/month
  • 6 Star Director – 10,000 ITAs, $16,000/month
  • 7 Star Director – 25,000 ITAs, $30,000/month
  • 8 Star Director – 50,000 ITAs, $50,000/month
  • 9 Star Director – 100,000 ITAs,100,000/month

During the time I was writing this PlanNet Marketing review, it appears no distributor has reached the ranked of 6 Start Director and above yet.

2.6 Rank Achievement Bonus

These are one-time bonuses every time you achieve a specific rank within the PlanNet Marketing affiliate hierarchy, or by earning a specific monthly commission.

  • Get to rank 5 Star Director – Rolex watch
  • Earn $8,333/month – Sapphire ring
  • $20,833/month – Ruby ring
  • $41,667/month – Diamond ring
  • $83,333/month – Double Diamond ring

There were no mentions of the size or the carats of the gemstones on each ring so there is no way for me to determine their values.

In case you want to verify the information in this PlanNet Marketing review, here’s a compensation plan explanation by the founder Donald “Don” Bradley himself.

So, did you watch the video? No? Well, let me summarize the most important parts for you.

As Don claims, PlanNet Marketing uses an “Aggressive” compensation plan.

I guess it’s true, if what he means is that you have to be aggressive in recruiting people to make a decent income.

Because while you can earn profits by selling travel-services through InteleTravel, the bigger income will come from you recruiting new ITAs in your team.

If you can’t build a vast network of InteleTravel Agents under your team, you won’t make a lot of money and you won’t survive long either.

How much can you earn with PlanNet Marketing?

With all the numbers above, I can’t blame you if you’d think that paying $60 a month is not that bad considering your income potential with PlanNet Marketing is very lucrative.

Well, hold that thought for a bit.

Here’s the latest income disclosure provided by the company.

PlanNet-Market-Income-Disclosure

As you can see, in 2018, 97.52% of all people who joined the company only has an average annual income of $165.92.

Meaning, most people are only earning a little over $10 per month! Not really the kind of life-changing income you’re hoping for, right?

Furthermore, based on the same document , PlanNet Marketing admits that 76.29% of the total representatives didn’t earn a dime. As in zero!

PlanNet-Marketing-Pyramid-Scheme

Keep in mind that these people who didn’t earn money have been paying $59.90 a month in administrative fees!!!

Not only they didn’t earn money with PlanNet Marketing, but they lose money instead. Who knows how many months they tried to make this business work.

Let’s say for someone who tried to make it work for an entire year, then that’s a little over $700 down the drain.

Is PlanNet Marketing a Legitimate Business Opportunity?

The idea of “Leverage” that PlanNet Marketing uses on its business is actually good. In fact, all MLM companies are using the same concept.

For those who aren’t familiar with the term, it translates to:

Leverage – Building a sales team – Recruitment

Yup, leverage in MLM simply means recruiting people, and don’t get me wrong; there is nothing wrong with that.

However, the Federal Trade Commission made a clear distinction between a legitimate MLM to a pyramid scheme.

According to the FTC, if a distributor’s primary income comes from selling the products/services, then there is nothing to worry about.

Otherwise, you might be involved in a pyramid scheme.

Is PlanNet Marketing a Pyramid Scheme

On the plus side, anyone, even non-members, can buy PlanNet Marketing travel-services offered on InteleTravel.

A clear sign that reps have another option to make money except for recruitment.

But here’s the tricky part.

While it is true that PlanNet Marketing, through InteleTravel, rewards you commissions whenever a product is sold, better commissions purely rely on recruitment.

For example, the InteleTravel Agent Bonus and 50% Matching Bonus pays you directly by recruiting a new person to the company.

There is no product sold here because you are merely selling membership to InteleTravel.

And if you take another closer look at the company’s compensation plan, the majority of the residual commissions rely on the number of people you have on your team rather than the volume of product sales to customers.

So, based on this information, do you think PlanNet Marketing is a pyramid scheme? Why or why not?

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below, and we can discuss it.

Should You Join PlanNet Marketing?

Everyone indeed has the “same opportunity to succeed” with this company, but why do over 97% fail to make a decent income?

Well, its because a specific set of skills, traits, and knowledge are required to succeed in network marketing.

For instance, while this business opportunity is “lucrative” as Don says, I believe its more suitable for people who are knowledgeable in the travel industry.

But it doesn’t end there.

Booking a trip or a hotel is a delicate matter, and people won’t just trust anyone they met online.

You’ll have to possess the skills of persuasion, and you must be credible enough that people will actually trust you.

You also have to consider that with the Internet and technology we have today; it’s not really that difficult to book a trip anymore.

As evidence, more and more people (including me) are going on trips Do-It-Yourself (DIY) style, so why would they need travel agents like you?

Sure, you could say you can offer them the “best deals” or the “best discounts”.

But as you might already know, PlanNet Marketing and InteleTravel isn’t the only company offering this type of deals.

And to make it clear, I’m not saying that you have absolutely no hope to reach your financial goals with this business. (Although over 97% already failed)

I’m merely giving you a heads up of what will be it like once you join PlanNet Marketing.

If you feel that selling discounted travel packages and services with PlanNet Marketing is how you can “live your dream life,” then, by all means, give it a try.

But may I suggest that you check out this strategy used by the best network marketers, including the top 3% PlanNet Marketing representatives.

It allowed them to find a steady flow of leads for their business and taught them how to attract the right people on their team.

Now, if PlanNet Marketing is not suitable for you…

So, after all that we’ve discussed, if you don’t think the PlanNet Marketing business opportunity is suitable for you, and you are still looking for an alternative…

Then, I highly recommend that you check out this program .

It will allow you to promote any products that you want and turn any of your passion and interests (not just travel) into a real, full-time income.

PS. No Selling and Recruitment required!

The program that I’ve just recommended is the same program that taught me how to earn a full-time income from home even after I quit my full-time job.

I truly believe the same could happen to you too!

Until here, and thank you for taking the time to read this PlanNet Marketing review.

I hope that this has provided you with all the information you need to figure out whether this is a suitable business for you.

Your friend,

PlanNet Marketing Reviews (2024 Update): Is Plannet Marketing Legit?

PlanNet Marketing Reviews ([year] Update): Is Plannet Marketing Legit?

Do you think it is possible to earn money from home without doing any work? What if you could quit your regular job and yet make a nice living while doing so?

This is where you’ll find the best answer! You’ll find solid facts and resources to back up your claim to financial success right here!

Hotel bookings and travel deals are sold by PlanNet Marketing, a multi-level marketing firm. They sell legitimate vacation packages and pay members as promised.

What if this program isn’t ideal for you? Does it make sense to join this program? Is the success of PlanNet Marketing real or is it a marketing ploy?

Some PlanNet Marketing reviews might try to paint a pretty picture, but we're keeping it real...

So, before we jump in...

DISCLAIMER:

This PlanNet Marketing review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

Why Listen To Us

why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to  actually  work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online ( read about it here if you’re curious ).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

Chances are you heard about PlanNet Marketing because someone – a friend or family member – introduced you to the company. Maybe you attended an online workshop or webinar, or maybe an in-person information session.

Your head’s probably spinning. This might be the first time you’ve heard about a real way to make money outside of a typical job.

So first off, congratulations!

You’ve just entered a whole new world…the world of making money on your own terms.

However, you came in through the wrong door.

Because PlanNet Marketing is – plain and simple – an MLM . Throw whatever fancy name you want on it…multi-level marketing (MLM), network marketing (NWM), direct sales, or anything else, it’s the same concept:

You pay some money upfront for the “opportunity” to sell products.

The products are typically low-quality but with high price tags (because fancy labels and stuff).

You’re told that the key to building your own successful business is selling these products to friends and family, and getting them on a subscription (so you get “monthly recurring revenue”).

Unfortunately, like most people who get taken in by these types of schemes, you’ll quickly discover that the well runs dry faster than you imagined.

After all, they make it sound really simple. “Just get 5 people you know onto this magic widget, and things will just grow from there.”

And in your head, you think “ How hard can it be? I know plenty of people, 5 will be easy.”

But then you do it, and you realize people look at you like you’ve joined a cult. You’ve become “that person”, who joined an MLM, and is now trying to sell questionable products or services to everyone they meet.

It puts a strain on your relationships, and you end up stuck between two worlds.

But it’s not your fault. These companies spend millions of dollars each year figuring out exactly how to brainwash and recruit people. And that’s why we’re here.

To help you find a better way before it’s too late.

So, what if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?

An income stream that doesn’t require:

  • Selling to friends and family
  • Selling to strangers
  • Recruiting people
  • Dealing with questionable products that weigh on your conscience

An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing, selling, or managing anything?

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Leasing.

TESTIMONIAL - Still Getting Paid

This is nothing like MLM , and that’s probably a good thing.

However, if you’d still like to know more about PlanNet Marketing , keep reading.

What Is PlanNet Marketing?

What Is PlanNet Marketing

Donald Bradely, a seasoned marketer and entrepreneur, founded PlanNet Marketing, an MLM enterprise that focuses on flights and hotels. As with any MLM business model, the aim is to have a vast network of recruits in order to generate income. However, the industry is highly competitive.

It is a  multi-level marketing  company that offers airline tickets, cruise tickets, hotel reservations, and a wide range of other travel-related services to consumers.

President and CFO Andy Cauthen has been with the company from its inception created by Donald “Don” Bradley in 2015.

As part of their  MLM business  opportunity, they have also partnered with InteleTravel , which provides their members with the ability to earn money by selling travel deals to potential clients.

PlanNet Marketing was founded in 2006, according to the company’s official  website . However, given the fact that the company receives only a small number of visitors each year, I can only presume that the company conducts more business offline than it does online.

Who Owns PlanNet Marketing?

Who Owns PlanNet Marketing

Don Bradley is the founder of PlanNet Marketing. Don Bradley serves as the CEO, while Cauthen acts as the president and chief financial officer.

Both of them have experience in the field of  marketing  and business as they had their own respective entrepreneurial endeavors before they started PlanNet Marketing.

Despite their shady pasts, it is impossible to deny that Don and Andy are highly successful  network marketers  today. They are well-versed in the knowledge, experience, and abilities required to lead a Travel MLM Company successfully.

PlanNet Marketing Reviews: What's It About?

PlanNet Marketing Review

Travel and tourism  produced $8.8 trillion and supported 319 million employment globally alone in 2018, according to the World Travel and Tourism Council.

Most individuals want to go somewhere at least once a year, which means that everyone you know is a  prospective  customer for your business.

So, is it possible to make a lot of money in this supposedly profitable sector via PlanNet  Marketing ? That’s what we’ll discover in this review.

Quality Of Products

Through the  InteleTravel  booking platform, PlanNet Marketing provides customers with reduced and “cheaper” travel services. There is a lot of rivalry in the industry; thus, prices and services are not guaranteed to be at their lowest or highest.

Customers will still need to conduct their  own research  before making a decision.

Difficulty Achieving Success

As a result of PlanNet Marketing’s emphasis on special offers and deep discounts you could assume that the  travel services  it advertises will “sell for themselves.” Sadly, this is not the situation. A high level of persuasiveness is required to persuade someone that they need your services.

When starting a travel company, it’s important to have many people working for you, not just one or two. When it comes to finding work, most people become stuck because they lack the means to keep up with a steady stream of  new opportunities .

What You Will Spend To Join

If you want to get started as a  sales rep , you will need at least $200. A monthly administration fee of $60 is required to keep your membership active and to keep earning commissions.

In my opinion, this is not a little sum of money. For  newcomers  who are trying to earn consistent product sales, the monthly charge proves to be a prohibitive expense.

Who Is This Program For?

It is aimed at those who have  experience  in the multi-level marketing industry. People who excel at recruiting and selling travel packages are also encouraged to apply.

This is a good opportunity for them when it comes to making money online in the MLM industry. Using the PlanNet Marketing  Mobile app , you can easily share, build, and manage your company’s marketing efforts.

Training & Support

Being a member of a PlanNet Marketing affiliate program gives you access to all the tools, documents, and resources you need to run a  successful business .

  • Discounts on travel are available to you and others.
  • In the field of network marketing, Founder has a long history of success.
  • You can make money by assisting others in their efforts to conserve their finances.
  • Start-up costs are high, and the monthly fee for membership is even more.
  • Recruitment is critical to your ability to make a good living.
  • Most people failed to make a profit from the venture.
  • Provocative, pyramid-scheme-like business strategy.
  • Everyone isn’t cut out for business.

How Can You Make Money In PlanNet Marketing?

How Can You Make Money In PlanNet Marketing

There is a chance of  income potential  with any business opportunity. However, according to their 2020 income disclosure statement, your odds of making a big amount of money are slim.

Their active independent representatives comprise  97.68 percent  of the company’s active independent representatives. They worked an average of 2 hours per week and made $154.14 for the year.

Break it down to a  monthly salary , and you’ll see. The average monthly salary for working representatives was $12.84. There are now Five and Six Star Directors who make between $400,000 and $850,000 a year on average.

However, this only accounts for a minuscule 0.001% of all currently active reps. So, you’ll be one of the 97 percent of reps who make $12.00 a month, which is the  reality .

-Don Bradley.

A  commission  is paid to you whenever a consumer makes a reservation through your portal. You’ll also have to recruit others to join and acquire their ITA, which is the major goal of their business.

You can earn a direct sales commission by selling InteleTravel’s home-based Independent Travel Agency (“ITA”) through PlanNet Marketing’s network of  independent travel agents.

If you have a PlanNet Rep organization, you can also make money. Override commissions and  other bonuses  can be earned in this way.

Here’s a basic overview of what  PlanNet Marketing offers  its employees:

Direct Sales Commission To The Selling Rep

Travel-related purchases through ITA typically earn you a 70% to 80% commission .

Direct Sales 50% Match To The Sponsor

You get $50 for every new ITA member you refer. You will receive $25 if your referral becomes a new member and receives the matching incentive of 50%.

Gold Builder Bonus

As you climb through the levels, bonuses are also paid out. As long as there are other Gold Builders underneath you, you will receive $10 in bonus money for every ITA sale you produce.

Monthly Matrix Payout To Selling Rep

Based on the monthly membership fees that you, your recruits, and everyone else in the program must pay to remain active, you will receive this $4 incentive every month. There are nine tiers to this bonus, and you can earn these benefits from the people you recruit in level one, as well as the people they recruit, and so on.

Director Bonuses

Making money through their program is based solely on your rank. The higher your rank is, the more you’ll earn money. Moving up through the ranks provides you with a lot of bonuses and benefits.

Is PlanNet Marketing A Pyramid Scheme?

So, is PlanNet Marketing A Pyramid Scheme? The short answer is no.  PlanNet Marketing is an MLM company that specializes in the travel industry.

Is PlanNet Marketing Legit?

Scam or Legit

So, is PlanNet Marketing legit? Technically, yes. You can make money with this program, but it’s definitely not as easy as the company makes it sound, which is why you might see so many Plannet reviews online asking the question.

There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and – most importantly – the actual commissions are pretty small.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.

But if you’re grinding it out for 3 months and then your reward is a $50 commission , it’s not really worth it.

What if, instead, you could do that same 3 months of work (in your spare time), and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month ?

And what if you actually didn’t need to wait 3 months? What if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?

And what if you could double it next week?

Well, that’s the power of Digital Leasing .

And, unlike an MLM, you can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.

Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.

Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:

  • A camper in the middle of the woods
  • A beach chair on the water in Mexico
  • A small villa in Greece

Are There Alternatives After Reading PlanNet Reviews?

alternatives

Yes, there are plenty of MLM companies to choose from if you want to pursue this business model.  Here are just a few:

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

TESTIMONIAL - JUMP ALL IN

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With MLMs and Network Marketing, you don’t really own anything. You have no control over the quality of products. You don’t even own your “team”.

Look at the fine print for most of the agreements folks sign when they join one of these companies. At any point, the company can change your commission structure, reduce your profit margins, or kick you out entirely.

With Digital Leasing, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

TESTIMONIAL - Feeling Blessed

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program , you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

TESTIMONIAL - Scott Lead Gen

4) No Inventory: Alright, so most MLMs don’t make you buy the products and fill your garage with them anymore (unlike the good ol’ days), but you’re still in a physical products business.

And physical products always have physical limitations. Even if you don’t have to manage the inventory, you still have to deal with supply chain shortages that cause major delays.

Imagine finally landing your first customer, and then losing them after one sale because they had to wait 6 weeks to get their order.

With Digital Leasing, a 100% online business, you never even have to think about that risk.

TESTIMONIAL - Done Deal

5) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income with an MLM, you’d have to double your customers OR double the average order size of your existing customers. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.

TESTIMONIAL - Lance Lead Gen

6) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. In an MLM, your “upline” might convince you that what you’re selling improves people’s lives, but deep down, you likely know that’s not true.

Most of the time, you’re either selling a dream or a poor-quality, overpriced product with a fancy label.

And that makes it pretty hard to sleep at night.

But with Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people , you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

BOSS OF MY FUTURE

Now, the choice is yours.

You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like PlanNet Marketing which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Leasing.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.

Is PlanNet Marketing a Pyramid Scheme? No, But..

PlanNet Marketing

Welcome to my PlanNet Marketing review.

First, let me start by answering the question, is PlanNet Marketing a pyramid scheme? And the answer is no they aren’t. PlanNet Marketing is a multilevel marketing company that’s in the travel niche.

They are located in Atlanta, GA, and was founded by Don Bradley who has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and product distribution. As well as achieving top positions in the MLM industry.

They’ve also partnered with InteleTravel. And with that they provide people the opportunity to start their own homebased travel agent business.

So, if you have a love for travel this may be the perfect homebased business for you. But before you get to excited let’s first take a closer look at this opportunity and make sure it is the right one for you.

Now, keep in mind I’m simply here to show you the pros and cons of PlanNet Marketing and give you my personal opinion regarding this business opportunity. What you decide to do after reading my review is up to you.

And with that said, let me first say, good on you for taking the time to do your own research before getting involved with any business opportunity. That alone tells me you’re serious about finding a legitimate way to make money online .

Disclaimer: I am not a member or an affiliate of PlanNet Marketing. All the information researched for this review is available online within the public domain. This review is my personal opinion and any recommendations/conclusions are my own which you may or may not agree with. What you decide to do after reading my review is up to you. You can see the full disclaimer here for more info .

Alright, let’s see what PlanNet Marketing is all about.

The Products

Ok, we know this is a homebased travel agency business. But PlanNet Marketing itself has no real products.

They are simply a funnel to InteleTravel. Where you as the travel agent have access to their portal and booking engine to help potential clients get access to the best rates at the top hotels, resorts, cruise lines and airlines.

And in doing so you as a PlanNet Marketing rep will earn commissions on those bookings.  You can also earn commissions selling InteleTravel Independent Agent businesses.

So, How Much Is It To Get Started With PlanNet Marketing?

To become a PlanNet Marketing Rep the cost is $19.95 and then it’s $19.95 per month thereafter. As a PlanNet Marketing rep you’ll get a personalized replicated PlanNet website and full access to the PlanNet Marketing mobile app.

You don’t have to purchase any product to be eligible to earn commissions. And there are no minimum sales quotas or targets to meet. Just pay your monthly fee and you can work as much or as little as you like.

Now you can become a InteleTravel Independent Agent if you like. However, you must first enroll as a PlanNet Rep. This will give you access to your virtual office where you can then proceed with the purchase of your ITA. The startup cost for this is $179.95. And then there is a monthly admin fee of $39.95.

As an independent travel agent, you will receive your own InteleTravel ITA personalized website, earn travel commissions as well as get guaranteed best prices & VIP travel benefits.

STOP trading time for money. Here’s how you can create a passive online income in 2023

How Do You Make Money With PlanNet Marketing?

Through the PlanNet marketing compensation plan you have several ways you can earn money. Now as it is with most MLM compensation plans they can get a little confusing and complicated.

So below is a quick and simplified overview of their compensation plan. You can read the complete compensation plan on their website by clicking here .

Now there are 2 ways you can earn money. First is through retail sales. And the other way is by recruiting affiliates into your team.

Retail Sales

Now, as a rep when it comes to retail sales. You will earn a $50.00 commission for every InteleTravel Independent Travel Agency (ITA) business you sell. And these commissions are paid weekly.

Direct Sales 50% Match

When someone you have enrolled as a rep makes a ITA sale. You’re paid a 50% Match ($25.00) on their ITA sales. These commissions are paid weekly.

Gold Builder Bonus

This is a unilevel compensation plan. Which means you’re at the top of your organization and you can place people infinitely wide below you on level 1 and infinitely deep.

unilevel comp plan

Now in order to be eligible for this bonus you need to have a least 9 active InteleTravel agents on your first level. And as a gold builder you will receive a $10 bonus for every ITA sale made in your downline, down to the next Gold Builder.

Monthly Matrix Payout

You can earn a monthly bonus of $4.00 from the monthly $39.95 payment made by Active ITAs in your matrix down 9 levels. You need a minimum of 2 active ITAs to qualify.

Director Bonuses

You can earn different director bonuses depending on your director level.

So, Can You Expect To Make Money With PlanNet Marketing?

As with any business opportunity there is the opportunity to make money. But according to their 2020 income disclosure statement the chances that you’ll make any significant income is pretty low.

97.68% of their of active independent representatives are travel reps. And on average these people worked 2 hours per week and earned $154.14 for the entire year.

And if you break that down to a monthly income. Active representatives earned $12.84 per month. Now there are Five and Six Star Directors who earn an average annual income between $400,000 and $850,000. But that only represents 0.01% of all active reps.

So, the reality is you’re going to be in the 97% of reps who earn $12.00 per month.

Plannet Income Disclosure Statement

Who Is PlanNet Marketing For?

This is an MLM business opportunity. So, this would suit someone who has excellent network marketing, recruiting and sales skills. If that’s not you this or any other MLM is not the business model you want to follow.

What I Like About PlanNet Marketing

#1) low startup.

Becoming a PlanNet Marketing rep does not cost a lot of money. Only $19.95 to get going and to maintain your active statis you don’t have to meet any sales quotas. Simply pay the monthly 19.95 and you’re good to go.

And if you want you own ITA, the cost is only $179.95 and then $39.95 per month.

#2) Legit Opportunity

PlanNet Marketing is offering anyone who is interested in the travel industry a legit homebased business opportunity.

#3) Refund Policy

PlanNet Marketing has a 90 satisfaction guarantee on all initial fees. All other fees are refundable within 30 days.

#4)  Income Disclosure Statement

PlanNet Marketing provides you with an income disclosure statement. Crucial information allowing you to make an informed decision based on facts.

What I Didn’t Like About PlanNet Marketing

#1) very low income potential.

There own 2020 income disclosure statement says it all. 97% of people that are PlanNet Marketing reps make no real money. The average rep in 2020 earned a whopping $154.14 for the entire year!

This information alone tells you the real story regarding this opportunity.

Plannet Income Disclosure Statement

#2) Recruiting

This is an MLM business and with that comes recruiting if you want any opportunity to make real money. So, you need to have excellent sales skills to convince people to join your business.

And the recruiting never stops. And the reason why it never stops is you’ll find over 50% of the people you recruit will quit within the first year. And 95% of people quit within ten years.

And people quit because they end up losing money rather than making it. And if they do make any money is minuscule. And again, that’s proven by PlanNet Marketing income disclosure statement. No one is making money!

Source: https://jobsinmarketing.io/blog/mlm-statistics/

#3) Tough Sell

I just see this as a hard product to sell. Unless you know a lot of people that want to start their own homebased travel agency, I just don’t see this being an easy business to build and grow. And that brings me back to what reps are earning. Which is nothing.

My Final Opinion Of PlanNet Marketing

Now if you love travel and have the urge to start your homebased travel agency then this could be the business for you. But I just don’t see the potential with this business.

And it’s those dismal earnings shown in their income disclosure statement. Now of course I don’t know you and you may be the exception here and you can make this business work. And if you think you can, then go for it.

But for me, this is not a business I would recommend to anyone.

Especially when you have far better options available to you.

If you’re into travel you certainly don’t have to join an MLM company and spend all your time selling and trying to recruit people to build your business.

And you don’t have to be a travel agent to build a thriving homebased business in the travel niche. You could easily start your own travel blog.

And you can monetize your blog through affiliate marketing relationships with every type of service within the travel industry.

And if you’re not into travel that’s ok. You can build a thriving online affiliate marketing business around any interest, hobby, or passion you have.

And as an affiliate marketer:

  • You NEVER have to recruit people to build your business.
  • You don’t have to sell anything to anyone to make money.
  • No complicated compensation plans to follow in order to make money.
  • You’re in 100% ownership and control of your business. With an MLM you’re not.
  • You can get your entire business up and running for free!

If you want to learn more on how you can build your own thriving homebased online affiliate marketing business around any interest, hobby, or passion you have.

Then you should check out Wealthy Affiliate . They have all the information on how you’ll build your business as well as all resources, tools, training, and one-on-one support you’ll ever need to build your business.

Now of course I have clue if affiliate marketing is going to be the route you take to make money online. I just wanted to be sure that you’re aware of the other opportunities available to you for making money online from home besides MLM .

If you want see what wealthy affiliate has avialable. You can do that for free.

4 thoughts on “Is PlanNet Marketing a Pyramid Scheme? No, But..”

Hi, I was asked to join the plan net network scheme, after reading this review, I want to say thank you. It’s a NO from me. They make it sound so interesting but it’s still like a pyramid, only disguise.. It’s based in America, why is no one from the UK?

Hey Jay, You’ll find every MLM/Network marketing company makes things sound fantastic and how easy it is to make money. But as many people soon discover after joining everything they were told was not as advertised.

You dodged a bullet in my opinion. As for people in the UK, I have no idea, you would have to ask them.

Take care and thanks your for your comment. Leo

Thank you so much; your pros and cons comments were VERY HELPFUL!

You’re welcome

Fast lanes —

Isps can charge extra for fast gaming under fcc’s internet rules, critics say, fcc plan rejected request to ban what agency calls "positive" discrimination..

Jon Brodkin - Apr 16, 2024 8:38 pm UTC

Illustration of network data represented by curving lines flowing on a dark background.

Some net neutrality proponents are worried that soon-to-be-approved Federal Communications Commission rules will allow harmful fast lanes because the plan doesn't explicitly ban "positive" discrimination.

FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel's proposed rules for Internet service providers would prohibit blocking, throttling, and paid prioritization. The rules mirror the ones imposed by the FCC during the Obama era and repealed during Trump's presidency. But some advocates are criticizing a decision to let Internet service providers speed up certain types of applications as long as application providers don't have to pay for special treatment.

Stanford Law Professor Barbara van Schewick, who has consistently argued for stricter net neutrality rules, wrote in a blog post on Thursday that "harmful 5G fast lanes are coming."

"T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon are all testing ways to create these 5G fast lanes for apps such as video conferencing, games, and video where the ISP chooses and controls what gets boosted," van Schewick wrote. "They use a technical feature in 5G called network slicing, where part of their radio spectrum gets used as a special lane for the chosen app or apps, separated from the usual Internet traffic. The FCC’s draft order opens the door to these fast lanes, so long as the app provider isn’t charged for them."

In an FCC filing yesterday, AT&T said that carriers will use network slicing "to better meet the needs of particular business applications and consumer preferences than they could over a best-efforts network that generally treats all traffic the same."

Carriers could charge more for faster gaming

Van Schewick warns that carriers could charge consumers more for plans that speed up specific types of content. For example, a mobile operator could offer a basic plan alongside more expensive tiers that boost certain online games or a tier that boosts services like YouTube and TikTok.

Ericsson, a telecommunications vendor that sells equipment to carriers including AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, has pushed for exactly this type of service. In a report on how network slicing can be used commercially, Ericsson said that "many gamers are willing to pay for enhanced gaming experiences" and would "pay up to $10.99 more for a guaranteed gaming experience on top of their 5G monthly subscription."

Before the draft net neutrality order was released, van Schewick urged the FCC to "clarify that its proposed no-throttling rule prohibits ISPs from speeding up and slowing down applications and classes of applications."

In a different filing last month, several advocacy groups similarly argued that the "no-throttling rule needs to ban selective speeding up, in addition to slowing down." That filing was submitted by the American Civil Liberties Union, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the Open Technology Institute at New America, Public Knowledge, Fight for the Future, and United Church of Christ Media Justice Ministry.

The request for a ban on selective speeding was denied in paragraph 492 of Rosenworcel's draft rules , which are scheduled for an April 25 vote . The draft order argues that the FCC's definition of "throttling" is expansive enough that an explicit ban on what the agency called positive discrimination isn't needed:

With the no-throttling rule, we ban conduct that is not outright blocking, but inhibits the delivery of particular content, applications, or services, or particular classes of content, applications, or services. Likewise, we prohibit conduct that impairs or degrades lawful traffic to a non-harmful device or class of devices. We interpret this prohibition to include, for example, any conduct by a BIAS [Broadband Internet Access Service] provider that impairs, degrades, slows down, or renders effectively unusable particular content, services, applications, or devices, that is not reasonable network management. Our interpretation of "throttling" encompasses a wide variety of conduct that could impair or degrade an end user's ability to access content of their choosing; thus, we decline commenters' request to modify the rule to explicitly include positive and negative discrimination of content.
