1. Konzert mit AC/DC Mötley Crüe - Accept - Gary More - Ozzy Osbourne - Dio - Van Halen (R.I.P. Eddie) alles schön und gut. Doch dann der Headliner AC/DC - Doppel Wums! und das Stadion bebte.

Das soll erstmal irgendeiner nachmachen !!!

Also was AC/DC da auf die Bühne gezimmert hat ist einfach unfassbar, das Wetter war durchwachsen, aber die Stimmung unschlagbar, ganz Köln hat gebebt...Nebenan haben welche ihren Abi Ball gefeiert, und wer kann schon behaupten das AC/DC live auf seinem Abiball gespielt hat. Derjenige der in der SBahn die Notbremse gezogen hat, wird das auch nicht nochmal machen, und die Dame die ausversehen beim abrocken durch eine sehr gut getroffene Kopfnuss niedergestreckt wurde, der geht es hoffentlich heute auch wieder besser und sie kann drüber lachen... Wahnsinns Wochenende Danke dafür Jungs ! Rock & Roll vom allerfeinsten 🥰👌🏻

AC/DC: Neun Konzerte in Deutschland – so kommst du an Tour-Tickets

AC/DC kommen nach Deutschland: Tour-Daten bekannt

Nach längerer Pause feierten AC/DC im Oktober 2023 beim Powertrip-Festival in Kalifornien ein Bühnen-Comeback. Mit dabei war endlich auch wieder Sänger Brian Johnson, der 2016 während der "Rock or Bust"-Tour von Axl Rose (Guns n' Roses) ersetzt werden musste. Dem 76-Jährigen drohte permanente Taubheit, dank neuester Technologie im Ohr kann er jetzt wieder auftreten.

Viel spekuliert wurde in den vergangenen Wochen dann über eine kommende Welt-Tour der Kult-Rocker, doch eine offizielle Ankündigung blieb lange aus. Nun sind die Daten endlich bekannt. Die Band macht unter anderem in Deutschland Station. Erstmals werden die Musiker hier Songs ihres 2020 erschienenen und noch immer aktuellen Albums "Power Up" präsentieren, zu dem es bislang keine Tour gab.

Das bislang letzte Konzert von AC/DC hierzulande fand am 15. Juni 2016 in der Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf statt, liegt also schon eine ganze Weile zurück. Dementsprechend groß dürfte der Ansturm auf Tickets sein – abgesehen davon, dass es sich womöglich um die letzte Tour der Rocker handelt.

AC/DC: Countdown gibt Hinweis

Am 7. Februar starteten AC/DC einen Countdown auf ihren Social-Media-Kanälen: In einem kurzen Clip blinkte in roter Farbe eine "5" auf, die "4" folgte am nächsten Tag, und so weiter. Viele Fans waren sofort überzeugt: Am 12. Februar würde die Tour-Ankündigung folgen.

Und so kam es dann auch. Mehr als nur einen Hinweis hatte im November bereits der Oberbürgermeister von München, Dieter Reiter, gegeben.

Bei einer Ratssitzung verplapperte er sich, AC/DC würden im Juni 2024 im Olympiastadion auftreten. Anschließend erklärte er gegenüber dem Bayerischen Rundfunk: "Es kann sein, dass ich was verraten habe, ich wusste gar nicht, dass das so geheim ist."

Daneben wurden in Fan-Kreisen Gelsenkirchen, der Hockenheimring, Nürnberg und Hannover als mögliche Spielstätten für Konzerte im Frühjahr beziehungsweise Sommer gehandelt.

AC/DC: Die Konzerte in Deutschland

Nun ist klar: Die Band wird dieses Jahr in neun deutschen Städten auftreten, auch München ist, wenig überraschend, darunter. Die Termine für Deutschland im Einzelnen:

• 12. Juni: München (Olympiastadion)

• 31. Juli: Hannover (Messe)

Bestätigt sind weiterhin zwei Konzerte im Happel Stadion in Wien am am 23. und 26. Juni 2024. Am 21. Juli treten AC/DC in Bratislava auf. Zudem gibt es Termine für unter anderem England, Frankreich und die Schweiz.

AC/DC in Deutschland: So kommst du an Tickets

Der Vorverkauf startet am Freitag, den 16. Februar, um 11 Uhr bei Eventim . Dort werden die Fans bereits gewarnt: "Wir erwarten eine hohe Nachfrage." Tickets für AC/DC gibt es ausschließlich als Fanticket, nicht aber als mobile Ticket oder Ticket Direct.

AC/DC Announces 2024 ‘Power Up’ Tour Dates and New Lineup

AC/DC has announced that they will tour Europe this summer with a brand-new lineup.

The 21-date Power Up tour will kick off May 17 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany and is scheduled to conclude on Aug. 17 in Dublin, Ireland.

You can see a complete list of tour dates below. Tickets go on sale Feb. 16.

According to the band's X (formerly Twitter) posts, drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams will not be performing at these dates. Lead guitarist Angus Young , singer Brian Johnson and rhythm guitarist Stevie Young will be joined by Matt Laug on drums and former Jane's Addiction bassist Chris Chaney.

Rudd missed AC/DC's 2015-16 Rock or Bust tour due to his well-documented legal troubles . He returned to record 2020's Power Up album but was replaced by Laug at the group's only concert since that time, which took place in October 2023 at the Power Trip festival in Indio, Calif.

Williams announced his retirement after the Rock or Bust tour due to what he described as a bout with " terrible vertigo ," but returned for the recording of Power Up and for the Power Trip performance.

AC/DC Return From Long Layoff

The announcement comes four months after AC/DC made their triumphant return to the stage with their performance at the Power Trip festival. The gig marked the Aussie rockers’ first concert since 2016 and brought to an end the longest show-free stretch of the band’s career.

The Power Trip set was also AC/DC’s first performance since the death of founding member Malcolm Young. The rhythm guitarist was replaced by his nephew, Stevie Young, who also played on the group’s 2020 album Power Up .

AC/DC has yet to tour in support of Power Up . The album was recorded in 2018 and 2019, but released in 2020 – right as the COVID-19 pandemic brought the live music industry to a halt. Johnson, who had dealt with severe hearing loss for years, was also testing experimental hearing aid technology. At the time, he was still unsure if he’d be able to perform with AC/DC again, however a handful of successful guest appearances – including a memorable performance at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert in London – left Johnson confident he could return to touring again.

“I walked out there, the roof lifted up off Wembley and I sang my little heart out,” he recalled of the Hawkins show . “I did two songs and the place went absolutely crackers. I think I floated off. It was absolutely wonderful. So we knew [the hearing aids] worked. We were absolutely jumping for joy at the side of the stage. It was something special.”

AC/DC Make Victorious Return With First Live Show in Seven Years

AC/DC took to the stage for the first time in seven years on Saturday night of the Power Trip festival .

It was the first time lead vocalist Brian Johnson performed live with the group since September 2016 in Philadelphia, following a 79-date Rock or Bust world tour. The ill-fated trek  required the services  of Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose for the final 22 stops after Johnson bowed out with  hearing loss issues .

Saturday’s lineup also saw Matt Laug step in for drummer Phil Rudd, while longtime bassist Cliff Williams came out of retirement with Angus and Stevie Young on guitar.

AC/DC played a 24-song set and opened for the first time with “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It),” according to Spin . The performance also packed hits “Back in Black,” “Thunderstruck,” “Have a Drink on Me,” “Highway to Hell,” and “You Shook Me All Night Long.”

Last year, Johnson told  Rolling Stone   he didn’t know if AC/DC would perform again. “I would love to,” he said. “It’s as simple as that. I think everybody would. There’s a groundswell of people just asking. But I hate talking about the future, because, fuck, we were ready two years ago, and the pandemic came, and it screwed everything up. So I’m terrified to say what could happen and what couldn’t.”

Power Trip also saw Judas Priest reunite with guitarist Glenn Tipton, who retired in 2018 due to Parkinson’s disease. The band filled in for former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who was scheduled to headline at the festival, but withdrew due to ongoing health issues .

AC/DC tease their return to touring: “Are you ready?”

It comes after speculation arose that the band would be playing a show in Germany

AC/DC have teased a return to touring – dropping a teaser online that asks fans whether they are “ready”.

The rock veterans hinted to fans that plans to hit the road are underway earlier this morning (February 6), when they shared a cryptic update on their social media channels.

Taking to X/Twitter, Angus Young and co. shared a 20-second-long clip that shows their iconic lightning bolt symbol flickering against a dark background, before the words ‘ARE YOU READY’ abruptly flash onto the screen.

In the background, their 1990 song ‘Are You Ready’ plays, and the band’s logo later fills up the screen. Check it out below.

Since its upload, fans have been quick to speculate that the new update is the band building hype as they prepare to announce an upcoming tour.

If these rumours prove to be true, and the band announce plans to perform across the UK and Europe, it will mark their first shows on the continent since their slot at Dusseldorf Espirit Arena in June 2016 – back when Axl Rose was acting as frontman for the band.

It will also mark some of their first live gigs since they made their comeback at the huge Power Trip festival in Indio, California back on October 7. The slot saw the band close out the second of three nights at the rock festival and featured a massive 24-song set with Brian Johnson and Cliff Williams returning to the line-up.

Rumours that the rock icons would be announcing a series of live shows in 2024 first arose back in November when Dieter Reiter, the mayor of Munich, accidentally let slip to a reporter that AC/DC would be performing at the city’s Olympic Stadium on June 12.

“I didn’t know it was supposed to be a secret,” Reiter said after inadvertently leaking the date of the AC/DC concert during a city council meeting (via Planet Radio ).

More recently, it was also reported that the band were set to play an upcoming tour in Brazil this year .

Initial speculation was started by the Brazilian publication O Globo , who claimed the band will play four shows in the country. According to the report, two of the shows will be staged at Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo, while the other two will be dates at Rock In Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro.

In other AC/DC news, towards the end of last year, fans of the band launched a campaign to try and get the band to Number One for Christmas 2023 .

The push looked to get the band to the peak position in the charts in celebration of their 50th anniversary, and came a decade after an original campaign was created back in 2013 to mark their 40th year as a band. The peak position ultimately went to Wham!’s ‘80s classic, ‘Last Christmas’ .

AC/DC Triumphs in First Show in 7 Years

AC/DC returned to the stage on Saturday (October 7, 2023) for their first concert in seven years at the Power Trip festival. The performance, which headlined the second night of the three-day event in Indio, Calif., was a triumph for the legendary hard rock band, and marked the return of lead vocalist Brian Johnson as well as bassist Cliff Williams, joining mainstay lead guitarist Angus Young. For this show, drummer Phil Rudd was replaced by Matt Laug. The lineup is completed by rhythm guitarist Stevie Young. The audience, estimated at 80,000, was treated to a 24-song set of classic rock favorites followed by a fireworks display.

AC/DC powered its way through many of their iconic songs throughout the set, including “Back in Black,” “Thunderstruck,” “Hells Bells,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” and “Highway to Hell,” as well as several numbers from their 2020 album,  Power Up .

AC/DC’s set followed one by Judas Priest, who were replacing Ozzy Osbourne. (Osbourne had bailed in July admitting that “my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet.”) Power Trip began on Friday (Oct. 6) with sets by Iron Maiden and Guns N’ Roses. It closes tonight with Tool followed by Metallica.

Johnson departed the band in 2016 after suffering a hearing loss during the group’s “Rock or Bust” tour. He was replaced for the remainder of that tour by Axl Rose, though Johnson vowed to return. The vocalist issued a statement at that time that said he hoped to be able to resume his performance career eventually. “My entire focus is to continue medical treatment to improve my hearing,” he said. “I am hoping that in time my hearing will improve and allow me to return to live concert performances. While the outcome is uncertain, my attitude is optimistic.”

The concert marked the band’s first performance of “Demon Fire” from  Power Up .

The event is from Goldenvoice, the Coachella organizers who also produced 2016’s Desert Trip. The event was originally revealed on March 30 after teasers began to appear on the social media platforms of many of the acts involved.

Is it just me, or is Brian’s range gone? He sure wasn’t hitting any high notes in “You Shook Me.” Now, I realize that this stuff is hard to sing, and that Brian is getting on up there in age, but he sure was singing flat and not hitting the high ones. I hope things will improve as more concerts unfold.

AC/DC Hasn't Toured In A Decade, Here's What The Band Has Said About Another Tour

• Speculation is high that AC/DC fans can expect a tour in 2024, marking their first in nearly a decade.
• Lead singer Brian Johnson's hearing issues have been resolved, allowing him to tour with the band again.
• Bassist Cliff Williams, who retired after the Rock or Bust Tour, agreed to return for a short tour in 2020 and may be open to touring again in the future.

Speculation is running high that 2024 will be the year that AC/DC fans have long been waiting for. It will be the year that AC/DC goes on tour for the first time in nearly a decade.

The last world tour AC/DC performed at was the Rock or Bust Tour. During that tour, lead singer, Brian Johnson had to unexpectedly leave after a doctor told him to stop playing or risk losing his hearing. The rest of the band continued on with the remaining concert dates, bringing in Axl Rose from Guns N' Roses. Rose is known to have had feuds with other rockers over the years, including Vince Neil . However, there was no controversy when he came to replace Johnson on the last 22 tour dates.

Johnson, and the rest of the band, bassist Cliff Williams, lead guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, and Matt Laug filling in on drums for Phil Rudd, got together for the PowerTrip Music Festival in Southern California in October 2023. It was clear that the band could still put on a fantastic show. With the reunion of the band, fans were wondering if the show was a one-off or if it was a sneak peek of what was to come in 2024.

Rumors of the band putting on a tour to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the release of their first album, High Voltage were further fueled when the mayor of Munich, Germany let slip at a council meeting that AC/DC would be performing at Munich's Olympic Stadium in June 2024.

Mayor Dieter Reiter stated he did not know the news was "supposed to be a secret." Perhaps it was not. But with everyone but the band talking about a tour, it is hard to determine what is truth and what is speculation. As such, given that AC/DC has not toured in a decade, here is what they have said about another tour.

AC/DC's Phil Rudd Hinted At A Return With The Band

Phil rudd had personal reasons he could not join ac/dc for the powertrip festival in 2023.

As exciting as it was to see AC/DC live on stage for the first time in years, there was one notable absence from that stage, Phil Rudd. He was not able to make it to the PowerTrip Festival in October 2024; Rudd made the decision not to attend the festival because his partner of 15 years, Toni Wilson, is battling Stage 4 breast cancer and has not been given the gift of time.

"She’s the love of my life. My best friend," Rudd explained. "All the money in the world can buy you things, but it can’t buy you time."

As a way to cope with Wilson's news, Rudd has decided to auction off some of his AC/DC memorabilia, with all the proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

It was when Rudd was talking about his auction that the question was raised about playing with AC/DC again.

“Making music , making people happy, if I’ve done that sometimes, then that’s okay," Rudd said. "This is such a little thing when so many women go through breast cancer, I don’t want to make a big deal of it. I’m just doing what I can."

Rudd went on to say about his future with AC/DC, "I look forward to playing with them again in the future … rock on."

Rudd is not the only member of the band who has been hinting at playing more dates in 2024. Johnson had a message of his own that has only stoked the fire that AC/DC will return to the stage in a massive way.

AC/DC's Brian Johnson Spoke About Touring In 2024

Brian johnson's hearing issues have been remedied to allow him to tour with ac/dc.

After playing a 25-song set at the PowerTrip Music Festival, it was evident that AC/DC still had the chops and the endurance to be able to rock the stage. Fans wondered if this performance was a taste of what was to come in 2024. If Brian Johnson has his way, then the answer is a resounding "yes."

Johnson appeared to hint that PowerTrip was a way to brush the rust off AC/DC. But, by all accounts, there was no rust to be seen. Fans loved the show. Johnson thought the show was successful . It also looked as though it was a litmus test to see if AC/DC could still perform up to snuff. With their set going well, Johnson sounded eager to do more.

"I've got my fingers crossed - everything is going okay," Johnson explained. "The most important thing about it all is the eagerness we all feel, the juices are running again."

Johnson went on to say, "More dates are being looked at for next year, some big shows."

Brian Johnson Refused To Play AC/DC's Long Way To The Top, And His Reasoning Makes Complete Sense

While Johnson was cryptic about any specific details of an AC/DC tour, it appears that some very real planning is underway. Rose and his feuding ways with bands like Metallica would not be needed . This is because Johnson received "innovative in-ear monitoring treatment" that allows him to play live again.

This very same planning was occurring in 2020 before the pandemic stopped everything in its tracks. In fact, a small tour to promote Power Up was so close to happening that Cliff Williams agreed to come out of retirement for it.

Cliff williams agreed to come out of retirement to tour with ac/dc in 2020.

After AC/DC's Rock or Bust Tour, Williams announced that he was going to retire. It had nothing to do with Johnson not being able to perform. Instead, Williams felt it was time for him to be done on the road and enjoy life post-AC/DC.

However, after the death of Malcolm Young, Williams agreed to a short tour to promote Power Up , an album that had Young's signature sound all over it.

"If Back In Black has Bon Scott all over it, for me, Power Up has got Malcolm Young," Williams explained.

Williams went on to explain, "This is for him. And it's the band that we played together with for 40-plus years. And I wanted to do that — I wanted to come back and do that."

AC/DC got together and had some "great rehearsals." So good, in fact, that the idea of a tour started to float around the band.

"The band was playing really well," Williams said. "So [they asked me], 'Do you wanna do a few shows?'"

Williams agreed. Shortly thereafter, COVID became a worldwide pandemic, shutting down any plans to tour for the band. Other bands angered fans with their risky mid-pandemic concerts , but AC/DC was not one of them.

Given that talk of a tour was already underway in 2020, it would make sense for AC/DC to not only tour in memory of Young but also celebrate their 50 years of being together. Whether that will happen in 2024 remains to be seen.

But from all the speculation and murmuring from those close to the band, a small tour may be closer to getting off the ground than fans know.

Doch für fünf Tage im August wird das Stadion für die Beach Pro Tour Hamburg umfunktioniert. Als größtes Tennisstadion Deutschlands bietet das Stadion am Rothenbaum Kapazitäten für ca. 10.000 Fans .
