Cruise itinerary

Blue Dragon Tour guide pick you up at your accommodation in Hanoi at 8:00AM and leave the city on our van. The great view of Vietnam’s village life with lush green paddy fields and romantic river would wake you up in the long trip. Arrive at Halong Bay at noon and enjoy welcome drinks.

Get on Aclass cruise and start sailing through the bay while lunch is served. Visiting Surprise Cave - the cave is the largest and most primitive cave of Halong with unique formation of ancient stalagmites.

Return to main boat. Then head to Titop Beach where you can swim or climb up the stairs for bird-eye view of the Bay. Enjoy the complimentary sunset party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruits.

The dinner is served with delicious seafood. Relax at your cabin or have a drink at the bar and take part in squid fishing with crew members.

Enjoy breakfast on deck while contemplating the sunrise over the bay while the ship is heading toward Luon Cave, you can choose to explore the area by kayaking or local rowing boat. Return to the ship and pack up your luggage.

After check out the cabin, guests can take part in a Vietnamese cooking class instructed by talented chef. A delight brunch is waiting for you in the dining room. Arrive in the harbor at 12:00 and get on our van for the way back to Hanoi.

Enjoy the breakfast with coffee and tea and cakes to charge full of energy for another inspiring day.  Transfer to smaller boat to explore Maze Cave - one of the most ancient caves in Halong bay. Later, the day boat proceeds to Cua Van floating village. Guests can choose kayaking or a bamboo boat to relax while discovering the local houses of fisherman.

Come back to the Alcass cruise for lunch. Continue the exploration by visiting Pearl farm to learn how pearl is extracted.

Return to the main ship and take time to refresh and relax in the evening. Enjoy the complimentary sunset party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruits and the finest dinner in the on-board restaurant. The night is entertain with team building games and squid fishing at night.

The staff were wonderful, Ly was a perfect and she was always helpful with a smile on her face.  We had incredible time. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we were having a great time. The food at every meal was delicious and the dining room team was very friendly. Punctual and helpful, we will hopefully be back and will recommend the cruise to friends! THANK YOU!

The trip was interesting. We got 1 night on the cruise and 1 night on land. It would be better if we stayed 2 nights on the bay. Everyone was very nice and humorous.

What an amazing experience! The sceneraries was really wonderful, we loved sitting at our balcony watching the sunset. Food was yummy, and the crews were all friendly. We highly recommened this tour! 

Our family did two-night and so happy with that choice. They brought us to some quieter areas so we had more relaxing and private time together since only us on the day boat on the second day. We and our kids really enjoyed kayaking around the floating fishing village, very peaceful and calm. The food was plentiful. The cabins were comfortable. Squid fishing was fun for our kids. Overall, loved this trip.

Really enjoyed my time on the A class legend. The staff were superb and Halong Bay itself is unbelievable. The only negative was that there were almost too many people in some of the sites we visited but that’s just down to the sheer number of boats that were out on the water.

The room wasn't great. Food could be better and drinks were expensive. However, excellent staffs and well organised tours were great.

Aclass Legend did better than the more 'well-known' company we cruised with two years ago. We were a bit nervous trying a new line, having had a great experience last time, but absolutely everything was fabulous, the cabins, food and activities. All staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to our guide, Kenny, and to Adam, the on-board activity co-ordinator. Some bumps on the shuttle bus (the road, not the driver) but cabins were roomy and comfortable and it was very good value. Highly recommended.

As usual, travelers stay overnight at hotels in Hanoi Old quarter's Area at night before, then we pick up  around 8am - 9am  in the next morning (Transfer from Hanoi to cruise harbor might take around 2-4 hours, depends on tours' class you book).

Travelers also flight from south of Vietnam/ Overseas to airport (Hai Phong airport, Noi Bai airport, Van Don airport) then do cruise on the same day, we can arrange for you transfer from airports directly to cruise harbors and join cruise but make sure u book early flight before 8am - 9am - 10am. Travelers must pay extra fee for car

Travelers also stay in near cruise harbor (for cruises are departed from Halong city), and you go to cruise harbor yourself, we show you location where to pick up easily.

Everywhere you go the views are amazing. The sunsets and sunrise are perfect. Get your camera ready as this place is beautiful..

The name halong came from the legend that a dragon landed on this bay. The view is wonderful. Each one of scattered islands gave me wonderful photos. My trip was just a day trip and I think it is too short. Spend at least one night. Yes photos of ha long bay are stunning, but you will be more stunned if you actually go there and see them with your own eyes..

Halong Bay was Visit on our Cambodia/Vietnam tour, we were very lucky to have our own guide and Junk Boat with crew.The Bay is such a beautiful place, we had a wonderful time spending all morning on the boat with lunch cooked for us.Halong Bay is certainly a must Visit if touring North Vietnam, fully recommended..

The views of the limestone islands in the Bay are stunning, especially if the weather cooperates. Strongly encourage one night on one of the many boats that ply the bay to allow for a less hurried itinerary and the very pleasant experiences of sunrise and sunset views. The boats are highly regulated and must stick to designated areas, but they are enough for lots of enjoyment. Various stops at caves, lookouts, kayaking, and small beach. Very good food on board our cruise with A-Class Stellar Cruises! Cabin was much cleaner and more "luxurious" than I expected..

Took the float plane both ways to save time. We only had one day and this was the best way to spend it. Thoroughly recommend the organisation we went with..

2 night 3 day cruise with v spirit, highly recommend, magic site even though we didn't go far into the bay. Lots of other boats at times added and detracted from the experience. Highly recommebd taking the extra night. Be careful who you go with as we heard some horro stories. Recommend v spirit great people, great service and food..

Just go and enjoy.. We stayed in a local boat Signagture over night so had a great opportunity to spend time just looking at the stunning scenery.. we also went canoeing to see some hidden away caves..

Halong Bay has been a dream of mine to visit for so long. It was breathtakingly beautiful and I could never get tired of the views! The colours and layers of all the cliffs and mountains are spectacular. Just make sure you find the right cruise - ours was overpriced and not worth it so do your research first! Also don't be surprised that there are a large number of boats around at night as they all park up together, but during the day we seemed to be on our own quite a lot. I think in the future this place won't be so nice as there is already so much rubbish floating around that it will continue to accumulate. Save this place by not littering and taking any rubbish back with you that you can..

This area has been a World Heritage Place among seven wonders of nature since 1994. What a beautiful spot on earth. A Halong Bay with its breathtaking beauty was undeniable and it is the most popular site to visit in Hanoi. There are many other things to do pay on the bay as well, like caving many many caves to choose from. Very helpful and informative and fun as well. If by overnight cruise, you can kayak by yourself to discover the bay, the cave more exciting..

the local village tour to Muong Hoa valley, Lao Chai and ta Vun village were worth for a visit. They also arrange a free taxi from our hotel in Sapa town to cable car station for us to visit Fansian peak..

Halong bay is a fantastic attraction and I am still blow away. Aclass cruises, nobody have I seen have the service that we received. Tom Cruise! Haha! Very knowledgeable and helpful and went out of his way to assist and guide us. Thanks sp much Tom!!! The vietnamese people have been so friendly and helpful. I am so impressed with the quality of the cruise. Boat was impressive, our clean cabin had an ensuite bathroom with a shower and toilet. It had excellent air-conditioning, a mini bar and safe. The meals were beyond satisfying. I love vietnamese food. So tasty and natural. The staff on Aclass legend cruise halong were very friendly and helpful. Anyone who caught our eye greeted and they went out of there way to talk to us and get to know us. They arranged activities such as happy hour, cooking class, squid fishing, swimming and so on. Just wonderful. We walked through this amazing cave called surprise cave - well worth it. We visited a floating village and bought grapes from a boat vendor. Some of the best customer service we have ever received!

A Really great family holiday

We have just returned to the UK after a memorable family holiday in Vietnam. Taking two small children half way round the world to an Asian country was a little daunting to be honest but we need not have worried. Everywhere we went the people were friendly and made such a fuss of our sons. Blonde hair causes white a stir here. The best part of the holiday as a family experience was the cruise that we took in Halong Bay with Alisa Cruise Halong Bay. We booked for three days with two nights to be spent on the boat. It was an amazing experience with top class service and facilities. The cabins were really good and the food was as well. We even had a jacuzzi in ours. The children were so excited and loved the cave that we visited. The cruise was excellent with plenty to keep the boys occupied and relaxing evenings for us drinking cocktails and talking with fellow travellers. I cannot recommend this excellent cruise highly enough, brilliant job and wonderful helpful staff.

Stellar, Stellar, Stellar. Stellar service. Stellar crew with all the jokes hahah! Stellar excursions. They let you do your thing but also have a whole schedule for you to follow if you really want to experience all that Halong bay has to offer. My mates and I had a blast and met some pretty awesome people a long the way. Two thumbs way up.

Can't beat Stellar ship for price and quality.

The A class Stellar cruise halong was practically brand new and it was honestly impressive compared to some of the other boats we saw while cruising. The staff here is laugh out loud fun and made us feel like we were in our second home, except it was in Vietnam! Can't recommend thus cruise enough and if we ever come back to Halong bay The halong Stellar cruise is where we will be on!

Just have a blast.

Intimate rooms, perfect meals and dining areas. I know people like to complain about having to pay for drinks or whatever on the criises at Halong, but man, you're in Vietnam, and they are still cheap compared to most anywhere else! You're on a beautiful ship, live a little! Loved the squid dishes and could have stayed on the beach of these jade green waters for a lifetime. Thanks A Class and Stellar crusie halong bay!!

Aclass Stellar provides a stellar holiday

This cruise was wonderful for our family and children. We Dutch like our sailing and cruising through such beautiful scenery was a great experience. We have nothing like this wonderful scenery back home. The kids were excited to be on such a big boat and it was so relaxful for us. Next time we book for longer for sure. The staff on this Halong Bay cruise were very good and loved helping our kids to enjoy their time.

A nice change of pace after a long time of traveling.

This experience was seamless as we had been having a tough time traveling all over SEAsia. Most cruises seem to go to all of the same destinations, but Aclass Legend Halong had more options to venture off and do fun excursions. Everyone spoke with fine English and it was very easy to ask questions and make requests. Transportation to and fro was relaxed, for the most part. Would take again if in Halong.

Solo travels and perfect relaxation. Learn about the history!

My second time taking A Class' Stellar cruise in halong, and it's consistent. I can say that for sure. Skipped the caves and the kayaking and just lounged around and truly enjoyed the sites. I was reading about the history of the region and all about the myths of the dragon that carved out this land. So much history and mystery to Halong Bay. Let's hope it stays this way forever.

Beautiful and luxurious

We really enjoyed the cruise in beautiful surroundings. The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. Staff were very attentive at all times and really made us feel comfortable. The accommodation was luxurious and simply perfect. Thanks to the cruise manager and his staff. We liked the good balance between relaxation on deck and activities. This is a MUST when visiting Ha Long Bay. If we ever come to Ha Long Bay again, this is the way to enjoy the nature as its best.

This itinerary was the best idea we had! We went with a three-day, two-night trip. The Halong Aclass Legend was impressive and as advertised. Luca was a stellar guide. Sunset parties for the win! Wifi was available a surprising amount, which helped with some work I needed to do. Food was good, wine was a bit expensive but to be expected in Vietnam. Weather was fine! Thanks guys!

From the moment we stepped onto the ship and were greeted by Mr. Tom, we felt very loved and at utmost comfort. Highly recommend the 2D1N Premium room on the Aclass Legend Cruise Halong, view from the room is breathtaking and great for taking pics as well. Very helpful and friendly staff. They were truly genuine and helped to shape our experience into an unforgettable memory of Halong bay. Most beautiful scenery

My wife and I visited Halong Bay and took the cruise offered by Stellar cruise. We had an excellent time as the entire itinerary was well organized. The service of all the staff and the cruise manager were outstanding. My mom is a vegetarian and the chef specially prepared an excellent vegetarian meal for us. We also had a 2-yr old boy travelling with us, and the staff were very accommodative, which made our holiday a lot easier. We highly recommend this Halong cruise to all who plan to visit Halong Bay, VIetnam.

Really enjoyed our time on board

I thoroughly enjoyed our time on Halong Aclass Legend cruise while sailing through Halong Bay in Vietnam. The area is really pretty and the boat was excellent. I loved the little trips that they had organised. We visited a cave and a floating village then went to see how pearls are made. Everywhere we went the people were kind and friendly. Vietnam must be one of the best kept secrets in the travel business.

Amazing Two-Day Cruise

We booked on a very pleasant, relaxing, 2D cruise. The welcome reception was awesome. The cruise started with a very nice lunch. Lots of choices. There were two shore excursions on the first day; one to the caves and the second to a small beach. There was a spring roll making session before dinner. Dinner was a set menu. We're in Vietnam so we would have preferred Asian style, but I think were in the minority. Our room was very comfortable, in fact, luxurious. We had another short excursion in the morning before breakfast. Another great assortment of food. All in all very nice. But the drive to Halong Bay was long and slow as the roads were disrepair. Journey by private car is recommended. Fully recommend Halong Stellar Cruise.

Completely happy with Halong Aclass Legend cruise

We did 2 days/ 1 night Halong Bay tour and were completely satisfied with staff, views, food, weather, boat, everything... Our guide Luca was very professional and friendly and we were well taken care of.

Awesome food

I just got back from my Vietnam holiday... Top times, I wish I was back there now, apart from the UK being bloody freezin now I do genuinely miss Vietnam and especially beautiful Halong!!! The boat was way cool. I had great times with the staff there, really great people. The kayak trip was great. We went into a lagoon under a tunnel in the rocks. Amazing views. The meals were good and fairly big portions too, loads to eat and very good quality. Cheers lads, nice one!!

Class Cruising

I was not sure from name Aclass first, but this really was A-class cruise trip! The boat is a full-on 5-star floating hotel to be honest. Boat was very comfortable, a really comfortable bed too which I was not expecting. The facilities of Halong Aclass Legend Cruise are superb. We saw caves, lagoons, floating villages and beautiful beaches. The kayaking was a great way to spend an afternoon, worth every penny and I would definitely do it again in future.

Don't think twice, just head to halong!!!

2 Days and one night on the Aclass LEgend was LEGENDARY!!! One of the most insane areas of Vietnam to experience you have to see it to believe it. Fine dining, cooking class, tours, kayaking, cave visit all inclusive for a reasonable price. We highly recommend our guide Peter. His knowledge is amazing, welcoming and the presentation awesome. Definitely enough activities to do even if going longer!

Legend by name Legendary by experience

Cruising through the beautiful scenery of Halong Bay in Northern Vietnam has to be one of the highlights of our wonderful Southeast Asian vacation. The colors and constantly changing views left memories that will live long in the mind. The boat was terrific, a real surprise. It was five star all the way. The tours were not really buy thing, I just loved the time spent on board, relaxing on the sundeck amid the most memorable scenery imaginable. My beloved Canada has some incredible countryside of which we are very proud. Vietnam should feel the same way about this place.

Halong Bay is a must-see.

Perfect full day and night of traveling all around the bay. Honestly felt like this was the perfect amount of time. Breathtaking scenery. Our room on Halong Aclass legend was great, the crew was attentive and safe. Can highly recommend.

Impressed with Halong Bay.

This cruise is exactly what I needed. The English skills of the staff was more than impressive. The cabins of Halong Aclass legend cruise fit the bill, with all the amenities one comes to expect from a nice hotel, but obviously on a boat. A lot of delicious food, especially sea food. Nice view on the sun deck. The guide Luca was very helpful and took care of everything we asked. Strongly recommended!

A stunning cruise of Ha Long bay that I strongly recommend!

We looked through many online websites and took advice of a few friends in choosing a Halong bay cruise. To save you the trouble, if you can afford it, chose this one the Halong Stellar Cruise. It is well organised, with enthusiastic crew and service that more than matched your high expectations. Two warnings, both of which apply to all cruises - the drive from Hanoi takes a long time along pretty poor roads. Also, there seems to be a 'route' that all boats take around Halong Bay, so do NOT expect silence. Saying that, this cruise was a definite highlight of a great holiday and I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Just relaxed, just right.

Lucas is an awesome tour guide - friendly, helpful with good sense of humor and always tries his best to make the trip as fun as possible. Thanks to him, I learnt a lot about Ha long Bay and the whole tour trip was a really pleasant experience. Great to have him as my tour guide!!

Lovely time and nice excursions!

We had a lovely trip with Halong Aclass Legend Cruise. All members of the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. The food was first class and the excursions were interesting. We had some good laughs and met some lovely people as you do on these cruises. I love our room so much; it was so beautiful and comfy. The only fault was lack of air conditioning and leg room on some of the coaches. But everything else was A class. I have recommended Halong Aclass Legend Cruise to several of my friends and will certainly be looking to book another one in the future.

07.45 – 08.15   We head on the bus from your hotel lobby to Halong Bay across the Red River Delta.

12.00 – 12.30  A welcome drink and cruise summary will be our introduction once we have boarded the Aclass Cruise. A lunch will follow this as we begin our sailing into the limestone maze ahead.

- Our first excursion is to Sung Sot Cave, named the Surprising Cave in English for the constellation of stalactites and stalagmites around.

- At Titop Island after this, we have time for swimming, relaxing on the beach and taking pictures from atop the island’s precipice, where Halong Bay stretches out around us.

- We rejoin the Aclass Cruise to settle into the evening with happy hour drinks atop the sundeck.

- After a gorgeous sunset, dinner will be served in the dining room.

- The night after this can be spent how you like. Maybe you would like to take some drinks at the bar or retire early to your cabin for a comfortable sleep.

06:30 – 08:00  Tai chi kicks the day off today before breakfast in the dining room downstairs.

- We head to Luon Cave in the morning time, kayaking or taking a local sampan boat through its watery corridor and emerging into a resplendent enclosed lake.

- We return to the Aclass Cruise for the last time and enjoy a cooking demonstration by the chef.

- Brunch accompanies our cruise back to the harbour, ending with disembarkation and the boarding of the bus to Hanoi.

07.45 – 08.15  Await pick-up from your hotel by our driver. We will make the journey to Halong Bay across the lovely Red River Delta.

12.00 – 12.30  The Aclass Legend Cruise will be waiting for us upon arrival to Tuan Chau harbour. We will board the ship and enjoy a welcome drink in the dining room. Lunch will be served here shortly afterwards as we begin our cruising through the gorgeous limestone maze of Halong Bay.

- Our afternoon will begin at Hang Sửng Sốt, translating to the Surprising Cave, with an interior full of vibrantly illuminated stalactites and stalagmites.

- Titop Island follows this, with its sandy beach, clear water, and stone steps leading to the top of the island where the most perfect photos of Halong Bay can be taken.

- We return to the boat to enjoy a social sunset party, giving you the chance to meet new friends and share experiences of the day.

- Dinner will be served shortly after this in the dining room, with a view of the sparkling bay outside. 

- Our large selection of movies provides the option for reclining into the evening time, also available with a visit to the bar.

  Day 2:  Cruising deeper into the Bay (B/L/D)

06:30  Our Tai Chi master will show you this ancient martial art on the top deck of the Aclass Legend Cruise, giving you a chance to start your day with a big boost of energy.

07:00 – 08:00  Take br eakfast in the dining room as Halong Bay’s new morning light creeps across the vast limestone spires. You will board the day boat after this to head deeper into the quieter areas of Halong Bay.

- We start the day at Maze Cave, a beautiful cavern that opens up onto a stunning view of a private lake behind. 

- After that, we will take a look at the fascinating Cửa Vạn fishing village; a colourful floating enclave of fishermen and their families. You will have the option to either kayak or take a local-rowed sampan boat around.

- Return to the day boat for a delicious seafood lunch while we continue gliding through the bay’s calm waters.

- We head to a pearl farm after this, where the mysteries of this lucrative trade in Halong Bay will be revealed.

- We will return to the Aclass Legend cruise to enjoy another vivid red sunset dive between the mountaintops.

- Enjoy another splendid dinner in the fading light of Halong Bay. Our evening entertainment afterwards includes board games, movies and squid fishing. Alternatively, you could retire to your cabin early for a relaxing evening with a book.

06:30 – 08:00  There will be another tai chi session held on the top deck of the ship before a breakfast is served below.

- Our only off-board activity today is at Hang Luồn, an excellent wet cave which we can discover via kayak or a sampan boat rowed by a local.

- Take the time to relax back on the Aclass Legend Cruise before checking out and enjoying a simple cooking class run by our chef.

- A lunch will be served in the dining room on our cruise back to the harbour.

12:00  The minibus will be awaiting at the harbour to take us back to Hanoi. The staff of the Aclass Legend Cruise would like to thank you for choosing us for this cruise, we hope to see you again in the future!

Deluxe cabin

• Deluxe cabins: are located on the first deck, are spacious and bright cabins with large window panoramic sea view.
• Premium cabins: are located on the second deck with the more spacious rooms and larger windows. It is quite convenient to get to the dining room and bar due to the same deck.
• Connecting suite cabins: Be easier for families or small groups with the two connecting rooms and private balcony. Keeping the members in connection or planning to explore Halong bay from the private balcony.

The dining room is located on the third floor which is designed to serve guests at private tables carved from precious wood, comfortable and romantic setting. 07.45 – 08.15: In the morning, our guide will meet you at your hotel. The shuttle bus or private car pick up  to start your Halong cruise from Hanoi. On the way to Halong, we will enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River Delta.  Have a short time for break, then keep going to Halong Bay, It takes approximately 3 ½ hours from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay 

12.00: At noon time, we arrival in Tuan Chau Marina . Welcome aboard the Aclass Legend Halong cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, crew in the cruise briefing. Then, check into your cabin. It is time to refresh and unwind, set sail and have lunch in the dining room or at the outdoor dining area.

15.00: We arrive at  Surprising Cave or Amazing Cave , explore the cave and find out how the cave was named a Surprising.- Heading to Titop Island area. Drop anchor in the calm water surrounded by beautiful islets. Visit Titop island for swimming and snorkeling or do the short trek to the top of island to have the overview of Ha Long Bay from here. Then, heading back toward the sleeping area

On the boat, you will have time for relaxing, taking a bath or summit on the sundeck watching the sunset, enjoy Sunset party. It’s ideal time to make acquaintance with new friends, sharing your traveling experience or simply watching the sunset

08.00: It is time for mingling yourself in the stunning views of the Bay and its dramatic limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters heading to  Luon Cave. In here, you have a chance to choose the option either exploring the cave yourself on kayak or comfortably on bamboo boat rowed by the locals.

09.00: Check out the cabins, at your leisure while our cruise taking you pass by other beautiful highlights in the bay.

10.00: You will join with our short class of Cooking Demonstration , how to make spring rolls before an early lunch is served.

12.00: Return to the shore and disembark from the cruise as our crew say farewell. Transfer to minibus or private and return to Hanoi.

After breakfast, we transfer to smaller day boat to exploring  Maze Cave , you will have chance to visit one of the most beautiful cave in  Ha Long Bay  and step up to the top of the mountain to get the amazing view of  World Heritage Site, admiring the stunning views of the Bay and its dramatic limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters heading to Cua Van Floating Village .

Our guide will brief you information and the highlights about this fascinating Cua Van Floating Village and its local community and let you choose the option either exploring the village yourself on kayak or comfortably capture the daily life of the fishermen on bamboo boat rowed by the locals.

12.00: We come back the boat and lunch is served on board
