Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Viewpoint Locations Map

October 8, 2018 by PowerPyx 49 Comments

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has 95 Viewpoint Locations (Fast Travel Points). This guide contains a map that shows where to find all Viewpoints.

Viewpoints can be synchronized by climbing them and pressing the interaction-button. They can then be used as fast travel points permanently. What’s special in AC Odyssey is that the game does not reveal them to you automatically nor does it tell you how many there are. The only way to reveal them is to get close enough to them (within roughly 300-500 meters / yards). Given how large the map is this can be quite the task, which is where this viewpoints map comes in handy.

Any idea where the 4 missing ones might be? 🙂 There’s unfortunately no way to keep track in-game. If you find a new location please let me know.

There’s another one you’re missing in Makedonia. The middle of the eastern-most peninsula.

October 8, 2018 at 8:03 pm

Thanks, looking into that as well!

October 8, 2018 at 8:38 pm

First of all, thank you for your card! If you unlock the two lookout points you have unlocked all viewpoints! 1. Macadonia (bottom left the larger of the three islands) and Lesbos (above the lookout point of the Poseidon) …

October 8, 2018 at 9:24 pm

Updated the map now!

Thanks to all of you guys who submitted missing locations 🙂

If you viewed the map before the update you may have to clear your browser cache to see the updated map (added 1 in Makedonia, 1 in Lesbos).

October 8, 2018 at 10:54 pm

you have 95 viewpoints on your map, count carefully

October 9, 2018 at 12:26 am

Indeed you are right! I forgot to count two on Samos. So yes we have 95 total.

' src=

October 10, 2018 at 5:16 pm

Is this all the view points in the game? : D

' src=

October 23, 2018 at 6:01 pm

are you sure the total viewpoints has 95? i count everything but apparently i got more than 95 so i’m not sure was it me or you

' src=

October 28, 2018 at 10:48 pm

I have all of the viewpoints listed on the map, but Ubisoft club says I only have 98.95% of them unlocked, could you check your Ubisoft to make sure I’m not missing anything?

' src=

October 31, 2018 at 12:51 am

I’m having the same problem too

' src=

November 3, 2018 at 1:51 am

Yep me too! But my Ubisoft account says I’ve only completed 98.9% of the main story but have completed it all so not sure what’s going on there

' src=

November 24, 2018 at 6:25 pm

There has to be a 96th because my Ubisoft club account says I have 98.95% of the sync points and I have all 95 you listed. Thanx for the map you help me find 2 I was missing.

' src=

November 28, 2018 at 5:48 am

Counting these is tough but I’m at 95 and matching the updated map and now I’m at 100%. It took a while for the Ubisoft club percentage to update after I got my last one. I checked immediately after and it was still <100% but after roaming the map aimlessly for about 45 minutes I checked again and I'm at 100%. Hope that helps.

Fellow gamers, I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve counted all of my synchronisation points (not including fast travels like The Arena, or Ancient Forge) multiple times and have reach approximately 113…

March 26, 2019 at 4:08 am

I’ve documented them all if you would like me to post the list here?

March 26, 2019 at 4:33 am

Hey, I think they added some new viewpoints through DLC. This guide / map was from the day-one version without DLC. An updated list wouldn’t hurt, feel free to post it.

March 26, 2019 at 5:10 am

I haven’t actually 100% the game as I’m still haven’t finished the final chapter (and I don’t have any DLC yet), so please keep in mind I might not actually have them all, but hopefully this checklist will help. Also collecting all the sync points doesn’t unlock or reward any trophies; however revealing all the islands (yes, even tiny ones) does unlock the Hermes’s Homie trophy. Happy gaming 🙂

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: How to Fast Travel

Image of AOTF Staff

The map in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is massive.  We don’t blame you if you would rather fast travel across the world than taking a boat, horse, or by going on foot.  There are only a couple of different ways to fast travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and one of them is going to require that you do a little exploration of the game.

The best way to fast travel to all of the different islands in the game is by finding all the Synchronization Points.  These points function similarly to previous Assassin’s Creed games in that they feature scenic views of the surrounding area and will highlight points of interest for you to explore.  However, they also function as fast travel spots once you’ve synchronized them.

On the map, sync points will have an Eagle Icon.  Once synchronized this eagle will turn from white to green and give you the option to fast travel.  Note that you can only fast travel when you are not in combat.  Simply highlight the icon and then press the X Button (Xbox) or Square Button (PlayStation) to fast travel.

Alternatively, you can fast travel to your boat wherever it is docked by highlighting The Adrestia.  This is denoted by a golden ship icon which when hovered over will allow you to press X or Square to fast travel to where you docked it last.

How to unlock fast travel in Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Ancient Greece is beautiful, but sometimes you don't have time to enjoy the scenery, so here's how to unlock fast travel in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

How to pass time by waiting in Assassin's Creed Odyssey

The power of night and day is at your fingertips if you learn how to pass time by waiting in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Some folks prefer to take the languid route in games, slowly ambling their way across game worlds in no hurry to reach a destination. For those of us with a bit more impetus in life, the ability to fast travel is a godsend. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey offers a massive selection of islands to sail between or ride across, meaning at times you might prefer the option to jump directly to your destination of choice. In this article we'll teach you how to Fast Travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

How to Fast Travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

© Ubisoft

You won't be able to fast travel from the start of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. In order to unlock the feature, you first need to unlock a number of synchronization points around the map. These tend to be at the top of peaks, and often you'll need to climb to reach them. If you haven't found any yet, they're marked on your map by an eagle symbol, meaning you can set a waypoint to help you reach them faster. Any that appear white on the map have yet to be unlocked, so head towards them. Whenever you reach one, climb to the top and you'll be given the option to unlock it via synchronization, turning the map icon gold. Once you've done this once, you can use it in future to fast travel between other points you've unlocked.

It's also possible to fast travel to your ship, an ability that you'll unlock after just a few hours into the game's main story. Given your ship largely acts as your base of operations, it's easily the most useful fast travel point, but it's still worth unlocking the others when you get the chance. Just remember than your ship only acts as a fast travel point when docked at a port, so make sure you're not diving off recklessly unless you plan to return shortly!

With the ability to fast travel at your disposal, you're ready to explore the full breadth of Ubisoft's Ancient Greece. To get you started on the right track, why not check out some of our other guides for Assassin's Creed Odyssey? Here's how to craft arrows , or if you're looking to document your journey, read up on how to use that rather fancy Photo Mode .

How to Fast Travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: How to Fast Travel

Fast travel is an absolute necessity in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey after a while, thanks to the sheer scale of its enormous rendition of Ancient Greece. Here’s how to fast travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey .

Ubisoft ‘s series offers one of the largest maps seen in the franchise. With tons of new content to explore, enemies to fight, and loot to find, this game will have you combing over every part of the map with a fine tooth comb. Odyssey takes your journey to the mystical lands of Ancient Greece. Of course, you’ll want to be able to move quickly around Greece, so you’ll need to know how to get around quickly.

You can’t just go fast traveling around the map anywhere you want in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. You’ll first need to find and unlock fast travel points .

Synchronization

As you’re exploring the world, you might notice a little eagle-shaped icon appear on your HUD. That’s indicating that a fast travel point is nearby. These tend to be in high-up places. Y’know, because you’re surveying the landscape and chillin’ with your eagle buddies.

If you’re struggling to find fast travel points to unlock, try opening up your map by pressing the touchpad on PS4, or the View button on Xbox One. You’ll now be able to scan around your nearby area a lot faster and pull out the closest fast travel point for you to unlock.

But there will definitely be an eagle icon in most towns within the game. At least one, but sometimes two or more. We’ve included an image of an unlocked fast travel point in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey below.

assassins creed odyssey fast travel, how to fast travel in assassin's creed odyssey

I recommend immediately going to the fast travel point in any new place you get to, if you’re impatient. A lot of the time, a quest will lead you pretty far and it’ll be a pain to get back.

Once you’ve climbed to the top of an eagle location you will need to synchronize with it just like in previous installments. To do this, you simply need to press Y on Xbox One, or Triangle on PS4. You’ll then get the panoramic camera pan as your eagle buddy flies around you.

When you’ve synchronized with the location you will have unlocked the ability to fast travel to it. Now you’re ready to actually fast travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Fast Travel Time

Now that you actually know how to synchronize, you’re finally able to fast travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. To do so, you’re going to want to go back to your map again by pressing the View button on Xbox One or touchpad on PS4. Look out for those same eagle icons we used to track down the point in the first place.

Any of these points you’ve synchronized with will now be green on your map. Simply move your cursor over the one you want to travel to and press X on Xbox One or Square on PS4, and you’ll be taken right there.

This is also true for your ship. You can do this anytime you’re not in combat, or near a dangerous foe. This will make things significantly easier when traversing the enormous map for a second or even third time while trying to complete side quests, collectibles, or finding hidden areas, such as underwater locations .

That’s everything you need to know about how to fast travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey . For more tips, tricks, and guides be sure to check out our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Wiki .

How to fast travel in Assassin's Creed Odyssey

If you don't want to walk or ride a horse, here's how to fast travel in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Bill Lavoy

About a year ago I made the decision to stop fast traveling in open-world games. I found that if I took the time to walk, I became more immersed in the world and got more out of the experience. However, after walking across the map for the hundredth time, everybody breaks and decides to take a shortcut. While the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is full of things to discover, I wouldn’t blame you for wanting to skip the trip and arrive at your destination immediately. Here’s how to fast travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

How to Fast Travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

ac odyssey fast travel to docks

Fast travel requires that you first unlock synchronization points around the map. These are almost always high up and require you to do some climbing. They are also marked on the map as eagles, allowing you to set a way point and travel directly to them. As you find these synchronization points, climb and unlock them, then you can use that point at any time in the future to fast travel. If the eagle icon on the map is white, the fast travel point hasn’t been unlocked. Once you’ve completed the synchronization, however, the icon will be gold and fast travel will be available.

ac odyssey fast travel to docks

Players can also fast travel to their ship, which will become available a few hours into the game and after some main story progression. Your ship will be an important part of the game and something of a base once you start exploring the world, making this fast travel point the most valuable by a mile. Just be sure to dock your ship properly when not using it in order to activate it as a fast travel point.

Now that you know how to fast travel, be sure to browse and bookmark our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey walkthrough and guide . You’ll find tips and tutorials to help you become the deadliest assassin the world has ever seen.

Hello, Meet Lola

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: How to Fast Travel

Assassin's Creed Odyssey isn't just a pretty game to marvel it, but it's downright huge as well. In this Assassin's Creed Odyssey map guide , we'll be providing you with a complete overview of the in-game map of Ancient Greece, as well as detailing how you should be travelling around the map as quickly as possible.e

On this page:

How to Fast Travel in Assassin's Creed Odyssey

How big is the odyssey map.

Whenever you see a fast travel point, which is denoted by a white eagle on the map, you’ll want to travel to it immediately. Climb the point once you’ve reached it, and press Y/Triangle to ‘Synchronize’, allowing you to fast travel back to this point in future. Exploring is generally pretty rewarding in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, as you can find tons of side quests with interesting characters (some of which you can even romance).

When you first start out the grand adventure of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you’ll find yourself on the island of Kephallonia. It’s a relatively small location, as pictured just below, but after you’ve dealt with the Cyclops and left Markos and Phiobe behind, the entire world opens up for you to explore through your ship.

If you're cutting through Assassin's Creed Odyssey, we've got everything you'd ever need at our Walkthrough here. Whether it's combat, stealth or finding the best items, we can provide.

Just below, you can see screenshots of the huge world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The world map is so big that we couldn’t even get it on a single screenshot. You’ll note below that while some areas are colored in, other areas of the map are grey. The colored regions are the places that we’ve been to and explored, while the grey areas are uncharted territory.

You’ll note that there are level recommendations for each area of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Generally speaking, the more dangerous regions are found towards the southern end of the map, while the northern areas are generally at a lower level, usually below 20.

How to Unlock Fast Travelling in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

by enricofairme · Published October 2, 2018 3:45 PM · Updated October 10, 2018 5:18 PM

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s  sprawling world which can often feel overwhelming to navigate. At times you may feel like things are far away, and fast travel doesn’t seem available. While this is true for some things, there is a way to fast travel to locations after you’ve visited them for the first time. To help you, I’m going to show you how to unlock fast travelling in  Assassin’s Creed  Odyssey .

Available Fast Travel Point – The Adrestia (Your Ship)

Once you have The Adrestia unlocked, you can use it as a mobile fast travel point.

One point you can always fast travel to is your ship The Adrestia. This ship is unlocked after you complete the story mission The Big Break. Once you have The Adrestia unlocked, you are able to fast travel back to it by hovering over the golden ship icon on the map. Having the ability to always fast travel back to The Adrestia is nice as it makes stopping to explore something easier then if you had to make your way back to the ship every time.

Unlocking Fast Travel Points Through Synchronization

While having a mobile Fast Travel point in The Adrestia is nice, sometimes you need to fast travel to a city (like to see Oikos for example). However, you may have noticed when you hover over a city/area of interest, the ability to fast travel to it is greyed out. To unlock fast travel to these points you need to complete what are called Synchronization Locations. These points appear on your map as grey birds. Once at a Synchronize Location you are able to send up Ikaro to scout the area. Once this is done, you will unlock this point as a Fast Travel point. You will know you’ve unlocked the Fast Travel point as the grey bird will turn green on your map.

Note: Completing Synchronize Locations is a good way to level up different attributes of Ikaro.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ship and Crew Guide

This guide will help you learn how the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ship gameplay works, how to get your crew, how to upgrade different features, how Ship Battles work and, of course, all the other basics!

This article does NOT contain any story spoilers from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey!

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey expands on the ship mechanic from Origins by adding a number of improvements. The naval gameplay is a lot more involved, you can upgrade various parts of your ship, recruit your own crew, board enemy ships, loot whatever is left on the battlefield and more! Let’s start from the beginning!

How to get your Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ship

You receive your own ship and crew right after you finish the first area (Kephallonia), which also serves as a rough tutorial for the game. As you leave for Megaris, you will also have your first naval combat experience. If you have played Origins, you will not find it very difficult to grasp the mechanics as the basics are the same here too.

You take control of your ship and leave it with the same shortcut button. It’s E by default on PC. I believe it’s Y on Xbox One controller. You can leave the command of your ship and dive to look for treasures at any given time. Barnabas (your… let’s call him assistant) will give an immediate order to the crew to stop and wait for you in that exact spot. You can also dock the ship at ports and harbors.

Here are the Basic Ship Movements Commands in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey:

  • You can press forward (W on PC) to get up to full speed for a short amount of time. This is useful for ramming enemy ships and is one of the most damaging attacks in your arsenal.
  • Pressing the backwards button (S on PC) will slow the ship. You can even move the ship backwards, but I do not recommend you do that. At least not often.
  • You can turn to the left and right by pressing the A and S on PC or the corresponding keys on your controller.
  • Hit the Travel Speed key (Space on PC – the button at the bottom left on the screen) to bring the sail down and move faster towards your next target or destination. This is usually the way to travel when you are not in combat.

One step up – combat abilities:

  • Shoot arrows at enemy ships
  • Shoot javelins at enemy ships (closer range)
  • Ram the enemy ship – press forward to gain full speed and hit the enemy vessel from the side for maximum damage
  • Shield – order your soldiers to put their shields up, protects the ship and your crew from incoming arrows from enemy vessels.
  • When the enemy ship is at low (critical) health, an anchor icon will appear on top of it letting you know you can board it (default key on PC is E). Then you and your crew can kill the soldiers, loot the chest and don’t forget to dive in and look for more chests after the battle.

Your ship is more maneuverable and faster than the enemy ships you will fight against in Assassin’s Creed Odysse’s Naval Combat gameplay. You can use that to your advantage – to avoid being rammed and ram your opponents instead. More on that later on when we get to the tactics section.

If your ship is lacking upgrades, you will often find yourself struggling in a fight against more than one enemy vessel. In situations like these it might be best to focus one of their boats, take it down, then run away from the battle to restore your health and return to finish it.

AC Odyssey Ship Menu Screen Overview

After you get your ship, the Ship menu will become available. In the featured video at the top of this guide you can see all of the components of your Ship.

At the top you see the same bar with the information about your crafting materials that you see on every other screen of the menu. Below it are the slots which you can control and upgrade.

On the left side you have the Arsenal, Weapons Damage and Ship and Crew Endurance upgrades. On the right side are the Lieutenants and Cosmetics, which I explain in a separate section of the guide. Below you can find more info on what each one of the perks on the left side does and why is it important to upgrade them:

Arsenal – in this category are the three upgrades that increase your ship’s attacks:

  • Arrow Volleys – Upgrades the Archers attack. You have level 1 unlocked by default, which allows you to shoot one arrow volley. Upgrading this will cost you crafting materials and currency, but will also allow you to shoot more arrow volleys one after another and will lower the reload time.
  • Javelin Throws – Upgrades the Javelin Throw attack. Same as the previous one, upgrading this skill allows you to shoot more Javelin Throws one after another and will decrease the reload time.
  • Fire Braziers – This is an ability you have to unlock first. It allows you to set your Arrows and Javelins on fire for more damage. Upgrading it grants you Fire Power segments and increases your Fire buildup

Weapons Damage – The following three skills improve your soldiers’ performance in naval combat:

  • Arrows – Upgrade to stronger arrows for increased damage and to create Weak Points in the enemy ships faster. Each level gives you increased performance.
  • Ram – The more upgraded your Ram is, the more damage you will deal when going at high-speed against an enemy ship. Upgrading this perk also increases the chance to create Weak Points in the enemy ships.
  • Javelins – Upgrade to stronger Javelins for increased damage and to create Weak Points faster. Each level gives you increased performance.

Ship and Crew Endurance – the next three perks increase your ship’s survivability.

  • Hull – Upgrading this perk will increase your ship’s Health and Armor as well as grant you additional slots for Lieutenants (more about them later).
  • Rower Stamina – Rower endurance can be improved to boost for a longer duration (allowing you for better maneuvering and ramming tactics) and more often. While boosting, turning the ship will result in drifting. Leveling up this perk will granr you more Rower Stamina and will increase its refill rate.
  • Crew Armor – Your crew becomes more effective at bracing (Q key on PC to make them put up their shields for protection against enemy arrows, for example). Leveling up this perk grants more damage reduction when bracing as well as less incoming fire damage from flaming arrows and javelins.

Upgrading your Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ship

While the ships don’t earn XP and level up, they can (and must) be upgraded to be able to face the more serious challenges and opponents. Each upgrade costs money (drachmae) and crafting resources: Wood, Leather, Iron Metal, and Ancient Tablets. These same resources are also used for upgrading your character’s armor and weapons.

Upgrading the ship gets more and more expensive with each upgrade. You have to make your strategy based on your goals and affordability.

Alpha Ships are serious challenge and you cannot just face them with your Adrestia’s basic gear. There are Alpha ships available early on as well. They can be found in many different places in the world of Ancient Greece. You do not need to wait to face them when you reach the end-game, but you better be prepared. Ship Upgrades are among the most important factors after player experience and maneuverability.

What are Lieutenants for and how to recruit them

On the top right side of the Ship Menu screen you have four slots for the Special Lieutenants. At first only one slot is unlocked. When you do the first mission with your ship, you will recruit the first one – the archer Phemios. Each Lieutenant has a special skill. You can have up to four assigned. To unlock more slots, level up the Hull perk of the ship from the bottom left side of the Ship menu.

Elite Lieutenants are hard to come by and you will have to roam the open seas in the world of Ancient Greece looking for the best ones. Most are available for recruitment via side missions.

If you use your combat abilities wisely, you can knock down or stun your opponents right before you kill them. This will open up an additional dialogue with the option to recruit them. If you choose to do so, open the Ship Menu screen and check the perk that this new Lieutenant has and decide if you want to actually hire them (place them on an empty slot).

An easy and quick example of how to find and recruit Lieutenants is in the video I have embedded above this paragraph. This strong guy is available right at the shores of Megaris. All you have to do is approach and knock him out. Then go to the Ship Menu screen and recruit him.

AC Odyssey Ship and Crew Cosmetics

In the bottom right of the Ship menu screen you’ve got a few cosmetics to choose from (if you have the cosmetic items, of course :P). The three tabs here are just for appearances. They will not have an effect on your ship and crew’s performance:

  • Ship Skin – changes the appearance of your ship.
  • Figurehead – places a figurehead at the front of your ship.
  • Crew Skins – changes the appearance of your crew.

Cosmetics are available both through gameplay and from the Ubisoft’s store. You can find cosmetics in chests as well as rewards from missions. One cool example is an underwater chest in the northern side of Octopus Bay (Hermit’s Dive Place of Interest). You will also earn cosmetics through missions. One such example is (mini spoiler alert!) the reward from the Olympic games after you win the final match.

My personal Figurehead cosmetic item is the Minotaur’s head. To get it you have to kill the legendary Minotaur beast .

The Epic Ships, available through the Live Events feature will reward you with a new skin for you to try on your ship. Epic Ships are tough challenges that happen on weekly basis and can happen anywhere on the map.

Your Ship and Crew Stats

At the bottom of the Ship menu you see the primary stats for your Ship:

  • Ship Health – Total amount of damage your ship can take before it is sunk. This value is based on your current level as well as the Hull perk upgrade.
  • Arrow Damage – Average amount of damage inflicted when all arrows hit the target. This value is also based on your current level plus the Arrow upgrades and Lieutenant perks.
  • Ramming Damage – Average amount of damage inflicted by ramming at full speed. The value is based on your current level plus the Ram upgrades and Lieutenant perks.
  • Javelin Damage – Average amount of damage inflicted when all Javelins hit the targeted ship. This value is modified by your character’s level and the Javelin upgrades.
  • Ship Armor – Amount of protection from damage received. This value is modified by your current level, the Hull upgrades and the Lieutenants perks.

What are the Best Upgrades for your Ship and Crew?

I would advise you to invest crafting materials and money into the Arrows and Fire upgrades first. The Arrows are a great long-range tool that, if aimed properly, does a significant amount of damage to the enemy ships. Being able to shoot arrows and/or javelins twice in a row gives you a decent advantage over pretty much any ship in the beginning of the game (and not only).

When you are surrounded by multiple ships, and especially on higher difficulties, it may become harder to see and predict where the attacks will come from (especially for beginner players). Upgrading your Crew’s Armor for the Brace perk is very useful in situations like these.

Upgrading the Hull is a given, of course. This is the perk that allows you to assign more Lieutenants, plus it also increases your ship’s armor and health, allowing you to last longer in combat.

Be careful when upgrading your ship. As I mentioned previously in this guide, the Naval gameplay is a lot more integrated into Assassin’s Creed Odyssey than it was in Origins, but it’s still more or less a side-activity for the most part. Always leave yourself enough crafting materials and money for the character upgrades, engravings and other things.

Naval Combat Gameplay

Here is a short clip, demonstrating the naval combat gameplay in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey with a low level ship and crew. The clip also features boarding the enemy ship right before sinking it.

Have any questions? Don’t hesitate to ask! Any feedback is also welcome. If you have extensive knowledge about the Naval combat and gameplay in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and want to share it with the world, leave a comment and enhance the experience of the beginner player, who has arrived to this guide to learn something new! :)

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ship Guide – How to Captain the Adrestia

Image of Larryn Bell

Seafaring is one of the primary gameplay elements in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Early in the game you will acquire a ship called the Adrestia, which you will use to sail throughout the Greek isles. Players will need to know how to command their ship and engage in naval combat in order to survive the pirate-infested waters. In this guide, we’ll explain what you need to know to properly captain the Adrestia and command her crew in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Players are granted access to their very own ship shortly after meeting Barnabas. There’s a brief tutorial to help you get used to commanding the ship and its crew, but we’ll go over the basics in case you need a refresher on how seafaring works in the game.

Sailing and Docking

There are several aspects to controlling and sailing the Adrestia in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Start by heading to the top deck to take control of the ship. Once you begin sailing, you can choose to either have the rowers maintain a steady pace so that you can thoroughly explore the open waters, or you can activate Travel Speed to boost your rate of travel and reach your destination quickly.

There is a dedicated message board near the center of the Adrestia that lists various ship-related bounties and missions that can be completed while out at sea. These objectives usually lead to a hefty reward, so remember to check your ship’s message board regularly to accept bounties and embark on new missions with your crew. You can also loot treasure straight from the water while on your ship, so keep an eye out for loot caches while on your seafaring adventure.

The Adrestia can be docked at any major harbor or port. Get close to the dock and press the prompt to have your ship dock automatically. The ship can also be called to any dock that it isn’t already docked at by interacting with the glowing ship symbol found at major ports.

Your ship also acts as a sort of mobile fast travel point, so if you’d rather warp straight to your ship from land while it’s out on the water, you can do so by opening the map and selecting your ship for fast travel.

Hiring Lieutenants

While exploring the islands, you can acquire new ship lieutenants by  recruiting hostile NPCs . This involves knocking out enemy soldiers and choosing the Recruit prompt to invite them to join your crew. Lieutenants can be hired from your list of recruits in the Ship tab of the main menu. Additional lieutenant slots can be unlocked by upgrading the ship’s hull.

Naval Combat

There are several types of vessels you’ll encounter while sailing across the Greek isles in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Merchant vessels don’t pose a threat, so attacking them will cause your bounty meter to go up. Keep this in mind if you have a mercenary after you, as this can lure them to your location, even out on the open waters.

Pirate ships, on the other hand, are always hostile and will attack you as soon as they spot you. Since naval combat is inevitable, you’ll need to know your ship’s offensive and defensive capabilities before setting sail.

Ramming & Attacking

The Adrestia has two primary offensive maneuvers available when engaged in combat with an enemy ship. You can either launch a long-range attack on an enemy ship using javelins or archers, or you can ram into the side of the enemy ship to deal a massive blow to their hull.

Ramming involves aligning your ship perpendicular to the side of the opposing ship’s hull and increasing your rowing speed to ram them with full force. This requires proper positioning and acceleration, so go for this tactic only if the ship distances and angles are in your favor.

Firing projectiles is the more reliable of the two tactics. The left controller trigger allows you to aim at your target, while the right controller trigger will launch projectiles at the opposing ship. Fire javelins and arrows can be launched using the right shoulder button as well.

Brace for Impact

There are a couple ways to mitigate the damage done to your ship while engaged in naval combat in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. One method is to brace for impact, which is done by holding the left shoulder button on a controller or the Q key on PC. This causes the crew to hunker down and raise their shields to protect themselves from an incoming enemy barrage. Keep an eye on the enemy and brace as soon as you see them preparing to launch projectiles your way.

If the enemy ship is trying to ram you instead, you’ll need to maneuver your ship to dodge the incoming blow. Dodging can be done by braking hard and turning the ship to quickly pivot out of harms way. Though it may take some practice, knowing how to dodge incoming ramming attacks will ultimately help you turn the tables on your enemies at sea.

Boarding and Cleaving

Once you have depleted the health of an enemy ship, an anchor icon will appear above it, signaling that it can be boarded. You can board an enemy ship by pulling up beside the vessel and hold down the boarding prompt.

When you jump aboard an enemy ship with your fellow lieutenants, be prepared to fight off any remaining enemy crewmembers on your way to snag the ship’s treasure chest. We recommend Sparta-kicking enemies off the edge and into the water, as this is a quick and easy way to rid the ship of hostiles without taking much damage. Successful boarding will restore part of your ship’s health.

Alternatively, you can also choose to cleave the enemy ship, which basically involves ramming it so hard that it splits in half. You’ll need to quickly ram into the side of the vessel to cleave and sink the enemy ship. This will also restore some of your ship’s health.

Ship Upgrades & Cosmetics

In the Ship tab within the main menu, you can view the Adrestia’s different upgradable features. Ship upgrades are broken down into three categories:

  • Arsenal – Improves the reload speed and attack rate of your archers and javelin men.
  • Weapon Damage – Increases the damage output of your weapons and ship.
  • Ship & Crew Endurance – Improves the overall health of your ship and crew.

Each ship upgrade costs a certain amount of money and resources, which are listed at the bottom of each upgrade.  Ship upgrades also require you to collect Ancient Tablets, which are found in ruins throughout the islands or sold from certain blacksmiths. Ship upgrades are a bit pricey, so you may have to play through the game a bit before you’re able to afford any upgrades for your ship.

Those are the basics of how to captain the Adrestia ship and engage in naval combat in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. For more gameplay tips and tutorials, head over to our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Guide .

8. Assassin's Creed Odyssey Episode 5

You'll start the episode outside Perikles's House after finishing the last story quest.  Another branch of side quests will be available to you now, starting in the north-west of the city by speaking to Sokrates who's standing near the Temple of Hephaistos.

Citizenship Test

Sokrates will abandon you, leaving you to talk to Alkibiades, who'll want you to get Sophanes registered as an official citizen of Athens.  East of the Temple is the Agora of Athens area, and next to the message board is where you'll find the building you'll need to infiltrate.  There's only three guards around it, but if you enter from the eastern side you can deal with the one guard there, then climb over the bookcase and interact with the table to forge the name.  With that done, head back to Alkibiades to end the quest.

Witness Him

Talk to Alkibiades again to start this quest, you'll now have to go and find Peiroos to make everything official.  Make your way east from here towards the blacksmith and you'll be prompted to use Ikaros to find him, then go over and talk to him.  Choose which ever option you wish, be it bribery, fighting, or agreeing with him, then head back to Alkibiades afterwards to end the quest.

Fast travel back to the Statue of Athena and move west to find Sokrates again, who'll be talking to Aristophanes.

Free Speech

Aristophanes and Sokrates will be arguing, in quite a roundabout way, about free speech.  Aristophanes will want to to find Hermippos, so head to the northern part of Athens to find Hermippos's Residence.  He won't be there himself, but there will be several guards to avoid and some items to investigate.  The first will be a small bag on the southern rooftop, which is easily accessed by climbing up the wicker boxes next to it.  The second is a note on the door on the north side of this tower, leading towards the covered area in the center.  The final clue is a blue and red rug on the opposite balcony, where there will be a cultist mask on top of it.  Return back to Aristophanes to end the quest.

On a High Horse

In the entrance of the Port of Piraeus you'll find Sokrates again, and this time he'll be on his own with a stolen horse.  Sokrates claims he's not the thief, but that the thief is nearby for you to talk to, and to find out why he stole the horse.  You'll find the thief at the Piraeus Workshop, and you'll have to chase him through the streets for a short while before he eventually stops.  Going through the Workshop will get guards chasing you as well, but eventually they'll stop once your far enough away.  When the thief has stopped, talk to him, and he's not particularly happy about you being the one to stop him.  Once you've questioned him about the horse, return to Sokrates and make your decision.  After another roundabout conversation with Sokrates, the quest will end.

A Life's Worth

Fast travel to the Tower of Sounion in the Silver Mountain region, then go north towards Lavrio to find Phaidon sat on the ground being abused by another man.  Speaking to him will reveal that he's had a pretty bad gig leaving him without money, and a master that's betrayed and lied to him.  His master will be just north of here, and you'll recognize him as the man who was abusing Phaidon, he's got quite a few other slaves around him in less than hospitable conditions.  Speak to him, and he'll reveal himself as a member of the Cult of Kosmos, but you won't be killing him just yet.  He needs you to kill a woman, but won't tell you why, then after speaking to him a cutscene will play with Sokrates.   Return back to the slave master, without killing the woman, to end the quest.

Whilst your standing next to him, kill the slave master for the Viper's Hood legendary item, and also killing  Eyes of Kosmos Cultist (3/6).   That's all the side quests in Athens dealt with for now, there's just one more cultist here you have to kill.  Hermippos is walking around the Temple of Hephaistos in the north-west of Athens, and area that's very well guarded.  You can take him out from afar with arrows but as always you'll need to get up close to confirm the kill.  There's plenty of bushes around the area to hide in and take the guards out with stealth, or you can run in full force.  Either way, once Hermippos is dead you'll get the Venom Gloves legendary item and you'll have killed  Eyes of Kosmos Cultist (4/6) .  Annoyingly the final cultist member isn't in Attika so there'll be a short wait before getting round to him.  You've done all you can for now in Attika, so it's time to continue with the story.

Island of Misfortune

Fast travel to the Adrestia, then set sail for the island of Keos and it's north-western coast and dock your ship here, though you will be docked in enemy territory so if you want a safer landing site, use the one on the east coast. You'll want to head east from here towards the Temple of Athena Nedousia Synchronization Location, and as you get closer use Ikaros to find your objective.  If you head straight to the objective, using the cliffs rather than the paths you shouldn't encounter too much trouble, and once you've arrived at the temple, interact with the door for a cutscene where you'll meet Xenia.  To find your mother, you'll need to hand over some drachmae, 15,000 drachmae to be precise if you haven't killed anyone whilst on the island.  If you have, then the fee will be higher depending on how many you've killed, and even more if you chose to lie about you reason for being there.  If you have the money simply pay her to complete the mission, if you don't there's several support missions on the island to complete to get the extra money.  The next story mission requires travelling to Argolis, west of Keos, but there's plenty still left to do on Keos.

With Xenia paid, the island is now a lot safer to travel, so lets take care of the side quests around here.

A Chest Full of Drachmae

You'll have got this quest after speaking with Xenia, and is especially helpful if you can't afford to pay her fee.  You'll need to find and loot the nation chest in Koressia Fort which lies on the west coast of Keos in the Ancient Ruins of Kunastros region.  It's very well guarded, and is also where you can find the nation leader, Eretmenos.  As always with any fort, there's plenty of wall space to keep a good vantage point from up high, and grass down low, all of which you can take advantage of.  Be wary as there are a large amount of elite guards around the area as well, so the safest bet is to get the chest and get out.  Looting the chest will complete the quest, but the game won't save until you've left the fort.  There's also a very small piece of land just separate from this region, jump back to your ship and sail to it, and make sure to set foot on it , as this is a piece of land that's often missed when going for the 100% map achievement.

We're Not Thieves

Near the dock in Pirate's Revenge you'll find Obelia who'll want you to steal the directions for a treasure she was planning to give to Xenia.  To find what your after, you'll need to make your way onto the roof of the Leader House south-east of here, next to the port in Lion Hill.  As usual the house is well guarded, but if you use the cliffs to your advantage, you can make your way in with little effort and onto the roof to find what your looking for.  You'll be prompted to use Ikaros as you approach the building so you'll know where you need to look anyway.  Also in the house is the Smoke Signal ostraka, so grab that whilst your here too, it's inside the house so be wary of guards as you do so.  Sneak back out of the house and down to the beach to find Obelia again, rather than the associate, who'll want you to grab the treasure for her now.  This will start the next side quest.

Whilst in the port, grab the Shrine of Iakkhos synchronization location, then either fast travel to the Adrestia, or go to the dock here and call it to you.

We're Treasure Hunters

Once aboard the Adrestia, sail to the south coast of the island to find the Submerged Minoan Palace, as well as four sharks swimming around it.  Use Ikaros to locate the two chests down here, then take out the sharks before diving down.  The chest for the quest is not the one needed to complete the location here, hence why you should locate two chests with Ikaros before diving down.  Grabbing the chest not related to the quest with get you  Underwater Treasure (18/42) , then swim back to the surface.  Obelia will have joined you now on her boat, try not to ram it with your own one as you'll then have to fight them, so join her on board.  Talk to her and choose whichever option you prefer, the lie and fight option will lead to you having to fight Obelia and her crew, whereas the first option will just lead to you getting ripped off.  If you choose to fight, you can always just kill Obelia and leave the ship and sail to safety if you wish, or fight the ship itself, but either option you choose, the quest will end.

Recruitment Drive

In the north-west corner of the island, there will be a ship halfway through being constructed, and on board you'll find the Steward dealing with the mast.  He'll want you sink some ships that are starting to infringe on the islands territory   You'll also have to do it whilst flying the flag of Xenia, but fortunately he'll provide you with that so go ahead and equip The Colors of Keos from the ship menu.  It might also be worth adding a few upgrades to your ship to make the ship battles easier, particularly adding some fire damage to the weapons.  You'll need to take out two Athenian, two Spartan and two Pirate ships, there will be numerous of each sailing around the island so you won't have to search too hard for them.  Once you've taken two of each ship out, return back to the Steward and speak to him to end the quest.

Because you collected the six Miltos before coming to Keos, the last quest of this island,  Red in the Wreckage,  won't be available as it's already been completed, so it's time to tie up the last couple of things on the island.  In the town of Koressia there's a pile of burning rubble and bodies next to the blacksmith , interact with it to complete the Smoke Signal ostraka, then south-west is where you'll find the Marinos's Boat Wreck synchronization location.  Fast travel to the Shrine of Iakkhos and go west and you'll find the Cave of Ares, which is half underwater in a lake, and half a cave on the land.  Go inside the cave on the land and follow it through to find another cultist, Harpalos.  Killing him will reward you with the Boots of the Immortal and  Worshippers of the Bloodline Cultist (2/6).   South of the cave is the Reclining Lion synchronization location, then on the south-east peninsula of the island you'll find another lion to interact with, completing the Pride of Place ostraka.  This will be the end of Keos, now head south back to Lestris.

Lost and Found

Once ashore, head to the northern part of the island to find a man, Gotarzes, being abused by his crew for wrecking their ship.  Speaking to him will get him asking you to take him back to Keos, but before you get the chance to do that, his crew will attack the both of you.  Gotarzes does a sizable amount of damage so you won't need to worry about fighting everyone all at once as by the time you've killed one crew member, the rest will most likely already be dealt with.  Speak to Gotarzes after the fight and make your way back to Xenia on Keos, once you dock in the north-west port a cutscene will play and the quest will complete.

Our next story quest will take us into Argolis, on the way you'll pass by the Foundry of Hephaistos which has a synchronization location to grab, then on the south side of the island you'll find Aigisthos Palace, loot the two chests here to get  Underwater Treasure (19/42) , then continue west to Argolis.

Dock your ship in the Kingdom of Hope and head inland to the Epidauros Temple synchronization location, go a small way south into the Epidauros Akropolis to grab the The Floor is Lava ostraka, then head to the south-east coastline to find a small island with a ruined set of pillars on it.  This island, although part of the Promontory of Skylla region, is separate from it as well, meaning you'll need to step on it to count as it being visited.  Continue south-west from here, grabbing the Sight of Perseus synchronization location as you pass by it, and enter the Sinkholes of Herakles where you'll find your second legendary animal, the Nemean Lion.  This animal is significantly easier than the boar from earlier as it won't call in any backup, although there will be three lions with it at the start of the battle.  What you can do however is take out the additional lions from the cliff edge before the battle starts, making it an even easier fight.  Once your left one-on-one with the lion, take your time dodging it's attacks and don't get too greedy when attacking it as it will hit you hard out of nowhere if your not too careful.  Elemental attacks will help as well, but as mentioned, it's not a tricky fight once the additional lions are taken down, no different than fighting mercenaries really.  Once dead, you'll receive the Nemean Lion's Pelt, but you'll not be handing it over just yet, you've got more to collect.

Continue north-west towards the Wetlands of the Hydra, grabbing the synchronization location in Nauplia Harbor as you make your way to the west side of the region and the Palace of Hippomedon where there will be an Ancient Tablet.   Make your way into Argos now and grab the Temple of Poseidon synchronization location, and nearby you'll find another cultist, Midas.  Killing him will reward you with the Noxious Boots and  Eye of Kosmos Cultist (5/6).  In the north-west of Argos is the Akropolis of Argos, where there will be a chest with the Pilgrim's Gloves legendary item in.  South of here is Pheidon's Tomb, break the walls as you follow the only path, keeping an eye out for the hidden spikes and snakes in between the pots.  The Ancient Stele will be found at the end of the tomb without any issues, then move the two shelves out of the way and head back to the entrance.  The final place to visit in Argos is the  Leader House, which contains the An Arm and a Leg ostraka.  With the fifth cultist dead a couple of achievements will be able to be unlocked in one fell swoop.  The final Eyes of Kosmos Cultist, Nyx, will now be visible on the map in Athens, so go over there first.  She will be in a building in the south-east corner of the city, so find her, and take her down.  Equip all of the snake set items, as well as the legendary dagger you will have just received for killing Nyx to unlock the following three achievements.

Defeat a full cluster of Cultists of Kosmos.

One Head Down…

Equip 1 Legendary melee weapon and 5 Legendary armor pieces.

I am Legend

Equip a Legendary Armor set.

Fashion's Creed

In reality, you've been able to get the I Am Legend achievement for a short while now with the cultists that have already killed, but doing it all in one fell swoop just felt much better.  You can now continue with the story.

First Do No Harm

Head to Argos and in the north-east corner of the city you'll find Sostratos talking to a woman, Chrysis, approach them for a cutscene.  They're debating whether Hippokrates is as he says he is, or just a liar and disrespecting the Gods.  Hippokrates won't be there to defend himself, instead you'll need to go and find him, taking his medical gear that he left behind.  Hippokrates will be located in the Hera's Watch region east of Argos, just south of the Heraion of Argos synchronization location next to the Cave of Pan.  You'll see him treating a patient, and a cutscene will trigger as you approach him.  Hippokrates will provide more details about where to find your mother, but he'll also ask you to retrieve a document from one of the forts in the area, Fort Tiryns.  Once the cutscene ends, the quest will end and you'll have a choice of two new story quests to do, The Doctor Will See You Now, and The Priests of Asklepios.  You'll be starting with the latter, though starting with the former gives a chance for Hippokrates's patient to survive.

Whilst in this area of the map, head north into the Palace of Agamemnon region to find Agamemnon's Tomb.  Like all tombs, follow the main path, going left at the first fork to end up in a room with a lot of spike traps on the floor.  There's a small shelving unit you'll have to move around the spikes to get it to the wooden wall at the other end of the room.  Climb up the shelving unit and jump over the wooden wall once you've moved it  to carry on through the tomb until you get to a room with a hole in the floor.  This is the room with the Ancient Stele, so grab that, then break the pots on the wall opposite the second path way to find another small room with a chest in it.  You can drop through the hole in the floor if you wish, but there's a lot of snakes down it and it doesn't lead anywhere.  Go down the path to the right of the Stele and move the two shelves out the way to find the path back to the entrance of the cave.  North-east of here in Mycenae where there is an Ancient Tablet.  South of here and to the east of Hippokrates location is the Bronze Club of Periphetes, where the Two of Clubs ostraka is located.

The Priests of Asklepios

South of Hera's Watch is the Valley of Dreams region, with a large lake and the Sanctuary of Asklepios in it's center.  Here there will be three priests you'll need to talk to to get more information about your mother, each of whom will also have a task for you. They're technically main quests but I'll write them down as side quests.  Inside the sanctuary is also where you can complete the An Arm and A Leg ostraka by interacting with the bowl in front of the statue .

Written in Stone

Talk to the southern most one first, Timoxenos, he'll be the one that documents the patients on the stone tablets but he's not able to help you easily as Chrysis has threatened the priests if they talk to you.  He'll ask you to follow him to the various stone circles around the area talking to you about the various patients that have passed through the area.  When you get to the third set, a cutscene will play, and for the best outcome, choose the sword wounds option, then choose "Dogs".  After the cutscene, make your way north out of the sanctuary until prompted to use Ikaros to find the priest next to a giant olive tree and speak to him again.  During the cutscene you'll be interrupted by a couple of guards who aren't very happy with the priest so you'll need to find them off, do so and the quest will complete.

Enough is Enough

The second priest to talk to is the one in the northern part of the sanctuary who's not very happy to be speaking with you.  However he quickly overcomes that when he realizes you'll be able to help him with getting rid of some snakes in the local bathhouse.  There's two ways you can deal with the snakes, if you wish to get it over and done with quickly you can head into the building with them and kill them all up close, or you can go to the lake behind the bathhouse and interact with a pipe in the water to flood the room.  Whichever option you choose, head back to the priest to end the quest.

A Heart for a Head

The final support quest will lead you to a market on the west side of the sanctuary, speak to the priest here who's trying to heal a sick woman but he'll need your help.  To do so, you'll need to find a white bull near the Asine Ruins, located in the Mount Koryphum region west of the sanctuary.  As you approach the ruins, use Ikaros to locate the bull in the lower part and scan the area for the enemies around it, it's a fairly large area to cover and there are plenty of enemies to watch out for.  If you approach from the north-west, you'll be able to grab an Ancient Tablet from the area with no enemies around it.  Make your way into the ruins, free the captives for a distraction if you want, and make your way over to the bull, who sadly has already been killed.  Loot the heart from its body and return to the priest, you'll have to choose between saving the farmer, the woman, or the child.  It makes no real difference but I chose the child as she was the only non-selfish one.  Whoever you chose to help, the quest will end.

Speak No Evil

The priest will mention the name Mydon to you, an elder priest at the sanctuary.  He can be found in the Guesthouse on the east side of the sanctuary, and whilst it's possible to reach him without taking the guards out, doing so makes it so much easier.  Either way, enter the Guesthouse and interact with the door at the back of the open area in the middle, a cutscene will play showing Mydon being 'treated' by a slave.  Interrogate him about your mothers whereabouts, and after the cutscene ends, end the quest.

The Doctor Will See You Now

For the second quest Hippokrates gave you, you'll need to head to Fort Tiryns in the Ancient Ruins of Perseus region just north-west of the sanctuary.  Once there use Ikaros to locate the building with the notes in, then scan the rest of the fort for the guards.  It's a massive fort with guards everywhere so take your time scanning for them, but if you just want to grab the notes and get out then entering from the western side is your best bet as after climbing over the walls there's a good bit of grass cover near the door you'll need so you can hide if necessary.  Whichever way you choose to make your way to the room, interact with the door for a cutscene with Dymas.  Choose whichever option you like, though the top option is the best as Dymas's patient will survive that way (the other two options mean either Dymas's patient will die, or you'll be out 10,000 drachmae.  Because you did this quest second, Hippokrates's patient will die regardless.  If you want them both to survive, do this quest before seeing the priests).  Whatever you choose, head back to Hippokrates and approach him for a cutscene to end the quest.  Story continues here.

A Herald of Murder

Next to Hippokrates will be the entrance to the Cave of Pan, make your way into it and through the small gap in the wall, then slide down the hole in the floor to reach the exit on the other side of the cave.  Once you leave, you'll be prompted to use Ikaros to search for the farmer who is in a building just east of here along the coastline.  Make your way down to the building and interact with the door to have a cutscene with Dolops, someone has tried to kill him and wants you to find out who.  Go to the area of farmland opposite his house and interact with the cart, the piece of cloth next to the rock on the left, the piece of armor on the floor, then talk to the man next to the cart, and the woman next to the honey stacks.  Return to the farmer and choose the second option, then go to the east side of Epidauros and Eristenea House to find your target, deal with the guards and the target as you wish, then return to the farmer again.  He'll reveal the Chrysis is a member of the Cult of Kosmos, marking the end of this quest.

Ashes to Ashes

To find Chrysis, you'll need to make your way to the Forest Altar which is located in the south-east corner of the Valley of Dreams.  You can fast travel back to the Sanctuary of Asklepios if you wish, then follow the path leading south-east from it to go up a hill and end up at the Altar of Apollo Maleatas.  Walk up to the altar and interact with it for a cutscene, then continue south-east again from the altar into the woods to find a large building.  As you approach the door you'll be ambushed by two cultist guards, kill them and interact with the door for another cutscene.  After the cutscene, choose to interact with the child or chase Chrysis, but for the guide you'll be saving the child, as you can kill Chrysis through the next side quest.  Once you've made your choice the quest will end.

Just north of the Altar you'll find the Club of Herakles where you'll find an Ancient Tablet, then climb up the tree in the middle and interact with it to complete the Two of Clubs ostraka.

Death Comes for Us All

If you chose to save the baby in the last story quest, you'll be able to find a woman on a bridge just east of Argos begging for help.  Her husband has been kidnapped by bandits, he's just south of here in the forest.  When you find him, Chrysis will show up to try and convince you to join the Cultists again, and after refusing you'll be attacked by Chrysis and two more cultist guards.  It's not a hard fight, and once they're dealt with talk to Chrysis.  Kill her to receive the Gauntlets of the Immortal, as well as killing  Worshippers of the Bloodline Cultist (3/6)

Everything is finished on mainland Argolis now, but there's a couple of bit to tie up elsewhere.  Firstly fast travel back to the Foundry of Hephaistos , and make your way through the cave until you come upon some bodies burnt next to a broken bridge, look left to where the lava is to spot a body poking out of it , interact with it to complete the The Floor is Lava ostraka.  Fast travel now to Nauplia Harbor, and make your way to the docks and call the Adrestia to you.  Travel south towards Mount Koryphum, and just west of it you'll find Nereides Monument for  Underwater Treasure (20/42).   Fast travel to the Kingdom of Hope and once again head to the docks and call the Adrestia to you and head north along the coast where you'll find the Phoibean Lagoon and  Underwater Treasure (21/42).

Head further north to find the docks on the east coast of the Kraneion Plains region of Korinthia.  Head to the Sea Captain Dock  on the south side where you'll find the Turning Tides ostraka, then on the western side of the region you'll find the Ruined Temple of Zeus which has an Ancient Tablet to find.  North-west of here along the west coast of the Isthmus of Poseidon region is the Diolkos West Ramp, where you can find the Rock and Roll ostraka.  East of here is the Grave of Sisyphos , inside will be a couple of guards to take out, then interact with the table to complete the Rock and Roll ostraka.

To Find a Girl

Make your way into Korinth and talk to the woman marked out in the investigation area.  She'll tell you that the person you're looking for, Anthousa, is in the Akrokorinth region to the west of hill, most likely at the Temple of Aphrodite.  Make your way into the region and follow the path up the mountain until you're prompted to use Ikaros to locate the target.  As you get closer, the task will change to killing the thugs threatening the worshippers, there's three initially, then another three will join in once the first three are dead.  Once the thugs have been dealt with, speak with the worshippers about the hetaerae and they'll tell you about the Monger. They'll also tell you that Anthousa is at the Spring of Peirene, which is just a short trek back down the hill.  Talk to her and whilst she does know about your mother, she's not willing to say anything yet.  Instead she wants you to help a couple of girls out, Erinna and Damalis, agree to do so to end the quest.  You're going on a small adventure with Alkibiades now for a couple of quests.

Handle With Care

Head back to the Temple of Aphrodite and speak to Alkibiades on the east side of it, he'll want you to take a parcel from Diodoros to Bardas who is located inside the fort up here.  Make your way through the fort dealing with the guards as you wish, and interact with the door on the west side near a bear cage to speak to Bardas.  When he asks who the package is from, choose Diodoros then escape the fort and return to Alkibiades to end the quest.

Designated Rider

Fast travel to the Port of Piraeus region in Attika to find Alkibiades just west of Piraeus Workshop, he'll want you to get a very drunk politician back home.  It's a bit of a trek so use Phobos to help you.  When you arrive at the house, you'll be ambushed by three thugs.  Take them out to finish the quest.

In the center of Athens you'll find Alkibiades outside a Tavern, he'll want you to find an olisbos to help him with his 'adventures'.  It's located in the House of Solon, so head there and take out the guards, then grab the olisbos and go back to Alkibiades.  If you visited this location earlier when you were in Athens, the olisbos will already be in your inventory so you'll just have to speak to Alkibiades again rather than going back to the house.

Across the Border

You'll find Alkibiades back in the Port of Piraeus again, this time in the north-west area.  He'll want you to transport his friend across the border into Megaris, but you won't need to go the full distance.  Along the way you'll be ambushed by three thugs shortly after crossing a river.  Once you arrive at the Sanctuary of Eleusis a cutscene will play and the quest will end.

Happily Ever After?

Alkibiades will be near the end of the last quest, he'll want you to deliver some items to a woman he's taken a fancy to.  Make your way over to the Altar of Love in the Sieged Pains region to find her.  If you came here earlier to grab the document, you possibly already have the items you need, but if not, the items will be marked out for you.  Once you've collected the ring (from a bowl in the center of the altar), the flowers (in a bag in the room behind where the ring is), and the food (from a small altar on the west side), speak to the woman who is on the south-west side of the building.  After the conversation finishes, find Alkibiades a short way west and talk to him to end the quest.

With all these quests done, you can head back to Korinthia now.

Korinthia

To Help a Girl

Speak to Damalis next to the Spring of Peirene, she wants you to find one of her clients who she fears has been influenced by the Monger.  The man you're looking for is in the north-west corner of Korinth, but when you get there you'll find Phoibe looking to talk to you.  She'll give you some hints about what the conversation with the client will involve, then turn around and head into the house behind where you were talking with Phoibe.  When you're prompted to pick an answer, choose the third option (pig farm), then the top answer (deed to land), then finally the third answer again (Deinomenes).  Choosing these answers will prevent conflict at this point, then head back outside and talk to Phoibe again.  Make your way to Abron House south-east of Phoibe, eliminate the four guards surrounding it, inspect the pot at the front door, then smash it and inspect the chains on the floor, the body pieces on the wall, and the small statue inside the house.  A cutscene will play, kill the man then head back to Damalis who is just south of here.

Follow That Boat

South-west of the Temple of Apollo, Erinna will be walking around shouting for Kleio before you talk to her.  After agreeing to help her, jump on horseback and follow her towards Lechaion Port in the northern area of Korinth.  Once there you'll be tasked with tracking the ship leaving the port and attacking it, but making sure not to destroy it else the mission will fail.  Once the ship is immobilized, board it and take out the guards on board, which includes two elites.  Once they're all dead a cutscene with Kleio will play out.  Choose to take her to Mykonos, then return back to Korinth to speak to Erinna.

Before starting the next quest, there's a couple of small things to clear up in this little area.  Get back aboard the Adrestia and go a small way into the harbor to find the Prototype Trireme of Ameniokles, which is  Underwater Treasure (22/42),  then back at the dock you'll see a statue of Poseidon holding a trident.  Climb up and on to the trident and interact with it to complete the Turning Tides ostraka.  In the northern region of Korinthia, the Valley of Pegasos, you'll find the Ruined Temple of Apollo which has an Ancient Tablet to find, then go back to Korinth.

Port of Lawlessness

In the north-east corner of the Korinth region is The Monger's Warehouse, the wall on the east side provides a great vantage point to access the main warehouse which is where all the supplies are.  If you burn the supplies before taking out the guards in the area, they'll all rush to the warehouse to attack you, making it a very tricky fight, so it's recommended to take out some or all of the guards before you burn the supplies.  There's a couple of prisoners to free as well, but they serve no purpose for the quest.  Once the five supplies have been destroyed (four on the bottom floor, one up the ladder) a cutscene will play introducing you to Brasidas.  Once you've broken through the door, you'll be in a fight with Brasidas against five more guards, including an elite.  Take them out for another cutscene, and agree to follow Brasidas's plan ("I can help you bring the Monger down")

Monger Down

You'll find Anthousa in her house just north of the Leader House, speak to her and you'll be given the choice between following her plan of killing the Monger in public, or choosing to follow Brasidas's plan of doing it in secret.  Choose to do it in the cave, which is north-west of here by a short distance.  You might get a prompt near here about a cultist clue being nearby, you can buy it from the blacksmith, but other wise, head into the cave.  As you reach the bottom of the first slope, you'll find the Stone Cold ostraka, then go down the path to the left for a cutscene and meet the Monger.  After the cutscene you'll be in a fight with the Monger and five of his guards.  Take the guards out first then use whatever techniques you have to take him down.  Talk to him once he's beaten, then once again choose to kill him in the cave.

Killing the Monger will reward you with a couple of things, firstly he is  Peloponnesian League Cultist (1/6),  which means he also dropped the Spartan War Hero Helmet, but most importantly, killing him is the last mission of this episode, so you'll unlock;

Complete Episode 5.

From the Ashes

Before you move onto episode 6, there's one small thing to tidy up in Korinthia.  Following the road south-west out of Korinth will lead you into the Valley of Judgment, where you will find the Kephisos's Sanctuary Ruins with an Ancient Tablet.  On the south-eastern side if the ruins, you'll find a large stone face in the ground, interact with it to complete the Stone Cold ostraka.  Now you can tackle the next episode.
