How many tickets can I buy for Coldplay?

There is a strict limit of four (4) tickets per customer for the presale and six (6) tickets per customer for the General Public.

Please adhere to the published ticket limit. Persons who exceed the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice by Ticketmaster at its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or any other information.

How do I purchase Accessible Seating tickets for Coldplay?

We’ve updated our seating framework to include a larger range of accessible seating options. There will be an option for every price level and package available.

Accessible tickets (including Companion Cards) can be purchased by calling our Customer Service team on the Accessible Bookings line Monday – Sunday 9am – 5pm AEST:  1300 446 925 . This phone number is reserved for patrons with accessibility requirements and companion cardholders and cannot process any other ticketing requests.

Get to know Ticket Transfer so everyone has their own ticket

1. Open the Ticketmaster App

2. Tap on my events and select the event you want to Ticket Transfer

3. Tap ‘Transfer’ below the ticket you want to share (please note: you may have to wait a moment for the ‘Transfer’ button to load)

4. On the ‘Select Tickets To Transfer’ page, confirm the ticket you want to share (please note – you must Transfer each ticket individually)

5. Tap the ‘Transfer To’ button. Tap ‘Manually Enter A Recipient’ & enter your friend’s ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’, and ‘Email Address or Mobile Number’

6. Tap ‘Transfer Ticket’. The ticket in your account will now say “Sent”. You can cancel or recall the Ticket Transfer at any time.

7. Your friend receives an email, asking them to accept the transferred tickets, and they can either login or create a new Ticketmaster account to accept.

8. The tickets are now ready to go in your friend’s Ticketmaster account and marked as ‘Transferred’ in your account

Get in early and ensure all your MyTicketmaster account details are up to date – from your password to your card details and your phone number.

Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting Coldplay tickets

Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.

Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance –  Ticketmaster.com.au .

Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time

Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’

Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as you are progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window while you’re in the  Waiting Room  and when you’re being pushed through  the Smart Queue  and always resist the urge to refresh.

Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is this popular, sometimes they go very quickly.

Australia & NZ 2024 dates announced - REGISTER for PRESALE!

Following this weekend’s spectacular Perth shows, the band have announced a run of Australia and New Zealand dates for October and November 2024. The shows will see Coldplay perform in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland for the first time since 2016.

You can register now here for access to the ticket presale – which begins at 10am local time on Wednesday, 29th November.

The Western Australian Government, through Tourism WA, and Live Nation are thrilled to announce that one of the world’s biggest bands, Coldplay, will hold a special one-off concert in Perth as part of their Music of The Spheres World Tour.

Support will be provided by Australian singer-songwriters Amy Shark and Thelma Plum, who will each perform standalone sets.

This history making event will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Perth’s Optus Stadium. An Australian-exclusive, it is expected to drive thousands of visitors to Western Australia to experience an incredible performance, injecting millions into the local economy. 

The Pre-sale commences Monday 15 May at 10am, running until Tuesday 16 May at 9am. Fans can sign up to participate in the presale HERE .

Coldplay announce ‘Music of The Spheres’ Asia and Australia tour dates

With shows in Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Perth and more confirmed

Coldplay have announced a tour of Asia and Australia kicking off this November.

Announced today (May 9), the tour was confirmed via social media, and follows several days of teases through digital billboards as posted online by Live Nation.

Coldplay’s Asia tour will begin in Tokyo, Japan on November 6 and 7 at the Tokyo dome, before the band take over the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taipei, Taiwan on November 11th. Elsewhere in the tour, Coldplay will perform at the Optus Stadium in Perth, the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia and the National Stadium Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The British band will play their first shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland since 2016.

Music lovers Down Under are accustomed to bands only playing in parts of Australia and New Zealand, sparking fan travel plans to other cities. When Coldplay brought their Music of the Spheres world tour this way on Saturday, November 18–Sunday, November 19, it did so only at an exclusive Perth leg of the tour that marked their only stop in this neck of the woods for 2023. Start getting excited about 2024, however — because Coldplay already have.

It'll be all yellow in Melbourne for two October dates next year, then in Sydney for a pair of November shows — and also in Auckland for a one-night visit the same month. The Chris Martin-fronted band will play Marvel Stadium on Wednesday, October 30–Thursday, October 31, then Accor Stadium across Wednesday, November 6—Thursday, November 7,  before heading to Eden Park on Wednesday, November 13.

Coldplay's current tour kicked off in March 2022, meaning that the band will have been on the road for almost three years when they make their return to Australia and Aotearoa. Packed stadiums have also been awaiting; every show between now and October 2024 has already sold out, with the group playing Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, Athens, Bucharest, Budapest, Lyon, Rome, Düsseldorf, Helsinki, Munich, Vienna and Dublin before their return trip Down Under. So far, over nine million tickets have been sold since the beginning of the tour.

When they take to the stage in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, the British band will play their first shows in each city since 2016.

Fans can look forward to a setlist that covers Coldplay's 26-year history — 27 by the time those October and November 2024 dates roll around — including everything from 'Clocks', 'Fix You' and 'Sparks' to 'A Sky Full of Stars', 'Viva la Vida' and 'The Scientist.

PinkPantheress and Emmanuel Kelly will be on supporting duties — and the tour's infinity tickets will be back, releasing at a later date and letting fans attend for $32 per ticket.

Coldplay Is Bringing Their Music Of The Spheres World Tour To Sydney In 2024

Missed out on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour tickets ? Another massive concert is making its way to Australia and it’s the news we’ve been waiting for. After playing a sold-out show in Perth’s Optus Stadium this weekend, Coldplay has announced its return to Australia next year with shows planned across Sydney and Melbourne . It will be the band’s first time playing in either city since 2016 and you don’t have to wait too long to buy tickets.

The British rock band will be bringing their Music Of The Spheres World Tour back down under with four dates finalised in both cities. Lead vocalist Chris Martin and his crew will be supported by British singer PinkPantheress and Australian musician Emmanuel Kelly. The world tour kicked off in March 2022 and has sold over nine million tickets worldwide. The band’s concerts have become popular for their pulsating colours, starry visuals and special effects.

Australian tour dates 2024

Coldplay will be performing in Australia on the following dates:

• Melbourne — October 30 and 31, 2024 at Marvel Stadium
• Sydney — November 6 and 7, 2024 at Accor Stadium

Presale tickets will be available from Wednesday, November 29 from 10am, and the general sale will kick off on Friday, December 1 at 10am. Head to the official Coldplay website to sign up for first access.

After playing a sold-out show in Perth’s Optus Stadium over the weekend, Coldplay has announced their return to Australia next year with shows planned across Sydney and Melbourne . It will be the band’s first time playing in either city since 2016 and you don’t have to wait too long to buy tickets to the interstate concerts.
