Booking option: Off-roading on a Jeep Tour in Tramuntana Mountain

You'll get picked up at 8.30am in the morning by an air-conditioned bus and taken along to a private finca. After the meet and greet, everyone gets split up in to groups based on their language. In no time at all, the multi-lingual guides explain what's what in terms of how to handle the jeeps. The 4x4s in Mallorca can be driven just like a normal car. Please don't forget to bring your driving license as you'll have to show it before the Mallorca jeep safari starts. If you don't fancy driving, you can take part in the Mallorca jeep tour as a passenger and make the most of the exceptional landscape served up by the Tramuntana mountains.

During the jeep safari in Mallorca, you drive offroad through Serra Tramuntana and come across pine forests and fascinating mountainous scenery. At various look-out points, the drivers can stop off and take in the views without having to focus on driving. The tour guides explain lots of interesting facts about the culture and nature in Mallorca. Around noon, get to know the traditional Mallorcan cuisine at an old olive mill in the mountains (bookable there) or bring along your own food. On top of that, you can use the pool in summer and cool off after lunch. Now the Mallorca jeep safari continues over sticks and stones, back to the car park and from there, you'll be taken back (at approx. 5pm).

Take part in an action-packed 4x4 tour in mallorca.

Live life on Mallorca's wild side and get close as ever to the Tramuntana mountains on a jeep safari in Mallorca! Explore the Tramuntana with its steep hillsides, fascinating views and picturesque pine forests. You get split into groups and talked through how to manage the jeeps. A jeep is much like a car to drive but of course a little bit bigger. A driving licence is a must so please make sure you bring it with you. You need to be at least 21 years old and have been driving for at least 3 years. However, passengers are more than welcome to come along to enjoy the ride. Go hurtling through the wild countryside in Mallorca with up to 39 other jeeps behind and in front of you. Thanks to the 4-wheel drive, you can climb the slopes and hit the curves without a care in the world.

Go cruising through the woods and get shown the watering system invented and developed by the Moors. You might spot some goats and sheep along the way. About half way through the tour, stop for a bite to eat at an old olive mill. Delight in a typical Mallorcan lunch (extra costs, payable on site). There is bread with alioli and olives, Pa amb oli (typical Mallorcan bread with ham & cheese) or stew, then dessert and water or wine is served (of course not for the drivers). Take a dip to cool down in the heat in summer. This is sightseeing with a twist. You get dropped back to your hotel at around 5pm.

And the BBQ at the ranch was delicious! We headed off from the Buggy4fun garage on our road quads to the ranch which took us along the public roads, a great way to view the beautiful Majorcan countryside... once at the ranch, we stopped for a BBQ lunch which was a chicken skewer (cooked to perfection) followed by an off road experience then back on the road quads back down to Calor Milor. This was an absolutely fantastic day, our tour guide Jurgen, granted english may not be his best, but that didn't stop him from explaining to us what was happening and certainly didn't take away the experience we had. After travelling for over 1-1/2 hours from Puerto Pollensa, we were met by a grumpy Myke (Mike - a German) who clearly wasn't in the mood to welcome us. We felt the same with the receptionist too. The other two gentlemen there at the time were much better. We had booked to go on a trike and after doing all the paperwork, Myke told us to wait while he briefed 2 German families first. Then when it was my time (I am an Asian) I felt that he was rushing and just wanted to find faults from the very first minute. More noticeably was the fact that he spent no more than half the time briefing me than the time he spent with the other 2 German families. As an example: he did NOT adjust the brake paddle throw for me and yet I saw that he checked AND adjusted it for the other two German men. Yes, it needed adjustment for me too because the paddle was a tad too far. He also gave me the wrong instruction regarding which hand to use for gear changes. I used my right hand and he told me that it was wrong and should use my left instead - even almost insulting me by saying "you are from the UK so change with your left hand". The throttle is on the right handle and it is common practice to change gears with your throttle hand so that when you do, you do not run the risk of powering up the throttle as you change gears! I felt uncomfortable with this but seeing that Myle was one grumpy lad, I did not resist. I wanted to have a nice day out with the family, especially my son who was really looking forward to the trip. I would be proven right later as you will see. At one point I felt Myke was just looking for excuses to NOT have us because during the test run, as we entered a small roundabout, he told me to change from 1st to 2nd gear and then immediately screamed I was going too fast - I wasn't, it was no more than 5 kmph. Doesn't he know 2nd gear is faster than 1st gear?? This is AFTER he told me that at some parts of the outing we will be going faster than 80 kmph! After the test drive Myke went inside and spoke German to the receptionist, NOT realising although I am Asian and my wife is English, she speaks fluent German. Yes, and we know that Myke was rude, very rude about me in German. To be fair the receptionist asked if we wanted to go anyway despite Myke's opposition. I decided that the last thing I want is to spend the day with this rude guy so I said no. Buggies 4 Fun also provides buggies. We were interested in them as an alternative but there are three of us and the buggies are two-seaters. Daniel, who was in charge of the buggies, clearly was in disagreement with Myke's assessment and decision NOT to take us. So Daniel decided to ALSO take me out for a test drive with a trike. After this second test drive, Daniel told both the receptionist AND Myke that as far as he was concerned I was no different to any of the other drivers he had seen and that he had no issues with me driving a trike. During the test drive, Daniel also confirmed that one should change gears with the right hand! This way you will automatically let the gas back to low when changing gears. Summary, Buggies 4 Fun as a business looks fine to us. They need to look at their guide Myke though. Myke did not want to be there and had no interest in the customers unless they spoke native German. He should be fired and go back to Germany or wherever he came from. Being Asian I felt Myke is a bit racist and did not realise that my wife speaks German fluently so he was caught red-handed being rude about me. I recommend that anyone going to Buggies 4 Fun to see who is your guide on the day and avoid Myke. Daniel was very good. I DO NOT recommend going with Myke if you are not a native German. Lastly, I am sure a "Christian" will come on here to reply in defense of something but he needs to know this was an honest review. Tuscadero Pink returns to 2024 Jeep Wrangler lineup

You love pink Jeeps . That's not a question; it's a fact. When Tuscadero Pink debuted on the Wrangler back in 2021 , demand for it was so strong that Jeep was compelled to extend production into the 2022 model year just to fill existing orders. It disappeared into Mopar's color vault after that production run completed, but Jeep's marketing people know a hit when they see one. Sure enough, Tuscadero Pink is back for the refreshed 2024 Wrangler . 

“Some 30,000 customers placed an order for Tuscadero when it first debuted in 2021,” said Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America. “We’re always looking to deliver what our customers tell us they want, so we’re ‘tickled pink’ to bring back the highly sought-after Tuscadero paint shade on Jeep Wrangler to mark 4x4 Day 2024.”

The berry-pink finish takes the slot that rotates between several of Mopar's feature colors, including Gobi (beige), Gecko (electric green), Chief (robins egg blue) and Nacho (pale orange). Jeep initially described it as a "deep and intense chromatic magenta." The same code has been featured elsewhere in the Stellantis portfolio; does Furious Fuchsia ring a bell, perhaps?

You can order the 2024 Wrangler in Tuscadero starting today for $895 on the Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X and Rubicon 392. For now, you're limited to a black hardtop, body-color hardtop or black soft top. A Sky One-Touch power top in Tuscadero will be available by summer, Jeep says.
