Maar weer even on-topic. Zijn er hier mensen die ervaring hebben met traveller suits? Ik zit te twijfelen om er één aan te schaffen en ik vroeg mij dus af of je echt "kreukelvrij" uit het vliegtuig of auto komt.

Travel + Leisure / Brian Kopinski
While we wish all of our travel plans exclusively involved wearing our most casual outfits with our feet dangling over a warm body of water, sometimes our global adventures call for more formal attire. Whether that’s a work conference, business meeting, or a loved one’s wedding (maybe even your own destination nuptials), some of our trips require us to pack a suit. As packing for travel becomes more and more stressful, especially as it pertains to luggage requirements, picking the right suit to travel with can be equally puzzling. Luckily, it’s a problem that’s not impossible to solve. “When it comes to a travel suit, the fabric is the single most important factor,” says Proper Cloth head of design Chris Callis, who travels with a suit every month. “You want something that’s resistant to wrinkling and has comfortable stretch.” We suggest making the most out of your travel suit by picking one that can easily be worn as separates when paired with the right pants or top.
We’ve rounded up 12 of our favorite suits to consider for the next trip where you may need one. They include varying degrees of stretch and crease-resistance, but they all get high points for style.
Best Overall
Canali classic fit wool suit.
Classic Italian tailoring in a wear-forever color can’t be beat.
It’s a major splurge.
Our pick for the best overall travel suit is this classic single-breast option in black that you can wear to anything that requires such a garment. (And given the price, you will want to wear it everywhere.) The flawless Italian construction from the master tailors at Canali means exceptional fit (think: just the right amount of room where you need it, like across the shoulders). And there’s just a bit of texture on the wool to give it some visual interest without it looking too trendy. If you take care of it, it’s really the kind of suit you can wear forever. We love the idea of pairing these trousers with a white T-shirt and sneakers for an easy-going outfit as well.
The suit is 100 percent wool so you know you’re getting quality, breathable natural material. It’s not going to be 100 percent wrinkle-free, but a quick steam right after taking it out of your suitcase should do the trick.
The Details: 100 percent wool | Sizes 36 to 52 US
Best Budget
Uniqlo airsense relaxed pants.
The material is super lightweight and stretchy, plus the entire suit is under $200.
The exaggerated lapel size skews trendy rather than traditional.
Uniqlo can always be trusted for their slick, affordable basics. And this lightweight suit in a classic fit comes with so many fantastic details that could truly have made it much more expensive. The proprietary AirSense textile is lightweight, stretchy, moisture-wicking, and wrinkle-resistant. Plus, the more casual vibe of these garments means you can easily wear each separately, but put a shirt and tie under the Uniqlo AirSense Blazer , and you’re ready for a dressier moment as well.
The Details: 100 percent polyester | Pants: XS to 3XL; Blazer: XXS to 3XL
Proper Cloth Irish Linen Bedford Suit
Proper Cloth
The silky texture makes for a gorgeous drape.
Linen is notorious for wrinkling.
Let’s get it out of the way: linen will wrinkle. But we still love the idea of it for travel, because linen screams vacation. You’ll have to work a little harder to make sure it’s in presentable condition, but once you overcome that hurdle, think about how sharp you’ll look in this beautifully tailored suit from Proper Cloth.
It’s got a soft drape and a silky touch so you know it’ll sit on your body just right. The fine Baird McNutt linen (some of the best in the world) is super breathable so it’s the perfect choice for a summer wedding, or if you just want to look your best for a trip to the tropics. It comes in seven colors, but we’re partial to the casual elegance of this faded brown tobacco hue. And Proper Cloth will let you customize the suit, too.
The Details: 100 percent linen | Jacket: Sizes 28 to 64, Length: short, regular, or long, Fit: extra slim to classic; Pants: Sizes: 26 to 60 waist, 26 to 44 inseam, Fit: extra slim to classic
Banana Republic Signature Herringbone Suit
Banana Republic
The herringbone is the perfect step up from classic navy or gray.
The jacket is unlikely to look great as a separate.
There’s something about this wool suit from Banana Republic that feels simultaneously formal and casual. The more modern, fuller cut is very stylish, but we love the old-school vibe of the herringbone pattern. The unexpected use of a heavier flannel gives this a very hardy feel, too, and that’ll be great if you want to wear the Signature Herringbone Suit Pants on their own for a more casual affair with a sweater or even a polo shirt.
The Details: 100 percent virgin wool |Pants: 30 to 36W, 30 to 32L; Jacket: 38 to 46, short, regular, long
Best Three-piece
Polo ralph lauren stripe three-piece suit.
Polo Ralph Lauren
It’s classic American menswear done right.
It’s pricey.
A pin-stripe wool-cotton suit with pleated pants and a matching vest is an unbeatable combination — it'll give off a confident vibe for your next business meeting. And Polo Ralph Lauren includes a twist by softening the shoulder seams so that they’ll drape beautifully into the sleeves. We also love the slim cut of the trousers for its elegant silhouette. And the vest will look fantastic on its own over a crisp Oxford shirt and a fantastic-fitting pair of jeans.
The Details: Wool-cotton blend | 34 to 48, short, regular, long
Best Cotton
J. crew ludlow slim-fit suit jacket.
For off-the-rack, the tailoring on the Ludlow is fantastic.
It doesn’t have a ton of stretch.
Crafted from medium-weight cotton from a renowned mill in Italy, this suit is one of J. Crew’s most enduring pieces. In fact, for the price (the entire set is under $500), this suit could cost a lot more. The slim fit gives it a very modern edge, too, which means the suit offers countless styling options. We love this blazer with jeans or even shorts for a sharp-but-casual outfit; while the Suit Pants are easy to pair with a myriad of tops, too.
The Details: 100 percent cotton | Pants: 28/32 to 38/32; Jacket: 34/S to 46/L
Best Size-inclusive
Bonobos jetsetter italian wool suit.
It comes in slim, standard, and athletic sizing.
It’s not tailored to your specific measurements.
Bonobos’ Jetsetter suit is made for travel, since the hint of elastane gives it stretch and some wrinkle resistance. But what we really love about it is how size-inclusive the suit is. For one, it is available from 36-short to 48-long and can be made in slim, standard, or athletic frames. No, that will not cover every single body type, but that covers more than what you would expect from an off-the-rack purchase.
The Details: 98 percent wool, 2 percent elastane | Blazer: 36S to 48L; Pants: 28 to 40, tailored, slim, athletic
Best Wrinkle-resistant
Suit supply havana blazer.
Suit Supply
The four-ply wool is naturally crease-resistant.
It’s a little pricey.
For this slim-cut wool suit, Netherlands-based menswear brand Suit Supply uses a high-quality Italian fabric with a ton of premium details: four-ply for durability, a slightly looser weave for breathability, and a tightly twisted yarn that’s naturally crease resistant.
We love how the very sleek silhouette (no shoulder pads and just a few discreet pockets) makes this a formalwear workhorse, but you can make a look more casual (but still incredibly put together) by wearing the blazer or Vigo Pants separately.
The Details: 100 percent wool | Blazer: 32 to 50S; Pants: 26 to 44S
Best Versatile
Theory mayer slim fit suit pants.
Bloomingdale's
A stretchy navy wool blazer is a wardrobe workhorse.
It’s a bit pricey.
Adding Lycra spandex to virgin wool gives this classic, slim-cut suit a fair amount of stretch, which means you can wear it on the plane. (Think of the big-time upgrade possibilities in a travel getup like this!) But the fabric actually comes with a ton of other modern benefits, too: the breathable textile helps regulate body temperature. Plus, it’s moisture-wicking and anti-odor. But the best perk for frequent travelers is that it is wrinkle-resistant. So both the Chambers Blazer and pants are ready to go as soon as you get off the plane, boat, or train.
The Details: 97 percent virgin wool, 3 percent Lycra spandex | Blazer: 34R to 48L; Pants: 28 to 40
Best Sustainable
Pangaia tailored trousers.
Pangaia is known for using recycled or responsibly sourced materials.
It has a baggier silhouette, which may not be for everyone.
This slightly oversized suit (made of organic cotton) from eco-friendly brand Pangaia offers a trendier take on the standard black suit, but the fantastic tailoring will have you looking dapper in any scenario. The back vent, concealed button plackets, and notched lapel are all hallmarks of classic formalwear, but some of Pangaia’s more innovative touches are there, too, like the use of peppermint oil to prevent odor, which means you can wear these pieces many more times before you need to clean it.
This is particularly great given how versatile both items are. The Oversized Tailored Blazer can make for a stylish oversized statement with a pair of jeans. And the unfussy drape on these pleated trousers are the perfect of-the-moment pants to throw on with your favorite T-shirts.
The Details: 100 percent cotton | Blazer: XXS to XL; Pants: XXS to XL
Best for Summer
Todd snyder italian seersucker madison drawstring seersucker suit.
Todd Snyder
The easy-breezy seersucker in this unexpected shade is incredibly chic.
It’s a lot more casual than a standard suit.
Other than linen, our favorite summertime textile is lightweight seersucker. The puckered fabric can actually hide wrinkling a bit, but this Todd Snyder set also comes with some stretch to make it a comfortable all-season option. (The black is an unexpected color for seersucker, and from afar, it will read like a standard suit — especially because of the waist-defining fit.)
We love it with loafers and a tonal shirt for a wedding in Sicily. Pair the pants with a white button-down and brogues, and you’ve got a foolproof casual Friday getup sorted.
The Details: 97 percent cotton, 3 percent elastane | Jacket: 36S to 46L; Pants: XS to XXL
Best Patterned
Brooks brothers cotton-blend paisley suit.
Brooks Brothers
This bright red paisley will turn heads.
It’s a bold look, but you can pull it off.
If you already have a standard navy, pin-stripe, or khaki suit, maybe it’s time to step up your travel wardrobe with this whimsical option from Brooks Brothers. It’s fun, it’s eye-catching, it’s giving Palm Springs. There’s some stretch for added comfort, and the fit offers a classic slimming cut. It’s easy to split these up as separates, too. In fact, we love the idea of these Cotton-Blend Paisley Suit Pants with a T-shirt or sweater plus low-top sneakers for a fashionable, fuss-free outfit.
But while the suit as whole is certainly a big look, a white button-down shirt will soften the overall impact of the pattern. Or you can always go full throttle, and wear the suit with yellow or blue.
The Details: 78 percent cotton, 10 percent polyester, 10 percent rayon, 2 percent spandex | Pants: 30 to 40, Inseam: 30 to 34; Blazer: 36 to 50, regular, short, long
Tips for Buying a Travel Suit
Pay attention to the pockets and the shoulders.
When buying a suit jacket, two structural details you shouldn’t ignore are the shoulder and pocket construction. Callis states that a softer shoulder “is much more versatile than a more built up, padded shoulder.” He’s partial to jackets with more discreet hip pockets. So if you’re looking to get the most wear out of your blazer, avoid flap pockets as they can read way too formal and business-like. “I also push guys to go for patch hip pockets; they'll look a lot better as a jacket worn independently.
Linen will wrinkle
While you can certainly expect linen to wrinkle, we’re still big fans of packing it for travel due to its breathability and breezy, summer-ready look. We love a linen moment for travel during summer or for warmer destinations, because more than any other fabric, linen seems to capture the joie de vivre of vacation. We just make sure to take our favorite travel steamer with us.
There are countless ways you can pack your travel suit, but one of the most trusted is to put it in a garment bag for extra protection. But that can be a more space-consuming strategy. Callis, however, takes a different approach: he suggests wearing your jacket on the day of travel. “I’ve tried every different way to pack a suit and my favorite method is wearing the jacket on the plane and folding the trousers on the top of my luggage,” he says. “That way the trousers stay creased and I lightly fold up the jacket on my lap.”
Most suit pants are very easy to wear on their own for a more casual outfit. But according to Callis, you need to pay very close attention to the jacket in order to ensure that it can be worn separately from the matching trousers. “Most suit jackets make for poor sport coats because they look too formal,” he says. “That’s why I point guys to a slightly textured, matte fabric for a travel suit. The lack of shine will look a lot better with jeans or chinos.”
For this story, travel writer Chadner Navarro scoured the internet for the best-looking suits he would love to wear while on assignment. As a frequent traveler (for both work and leisure), Navarro never fails to pack at least one blazer in his suitcase. (Though he has also brought two tuxedos on a cruise that featured multiple nights with black-tie dress codes.) To add more expertise to the roundup, he also spoke with Proper Cloth head of design Chris Callis for his expert insight.

Polar Wear: KLM’s Emergency Aluminum Suits
Once upon a time, KLM prepared passengers for the dire possibility of a polar crash landing with outerwear that resembled a baggy space suit.
From the stylish aubergine flight-attendant uniforms Didiet Maulana designed for Garuda Indonesia to Laird Kay’s Very Plane Clothes fashion line, the air industry has seen some iconic runway moments. Last year, in an article about voyages to the extremities of Earth, the New York Times unearthed another, more curious example of airline apparel: KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ “polar suit.”
The image of the suit was actually first published by the newspaper in a 1973 article, but the getup dates back further. In 1958, KLM launched a route from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Anchorage, Alaska, and then to Tokyo, Japan. Polar suits were included on all Douglas DC-7 planes making the journey above the Arctic Circle. The suit is also seen in KLM’s collection of historical photographs stored at the Maria Austria Institute in Amsterdam. In one photograph, a well-bundled group is sporting the thickly padded ensembles (some of which have a metallic outer layer), standing in front of a€¯DC-10-30, among a stockpile of more suits.
“The polar suit was developed by KLM, by the Flight Technical Affairs department at Flight Operations in cooperation with the Medical Service,” says Frido Ogier, senior editor of Corporate Communications AMS/CO at KLM’s Heritage Centre. Ogier made it clear that the suit wasn’t making any kind of a fashion statement: “The design is purely functional. It had to protect passengers and crew against the cold in the polar area, in case of an emergency landing.”
Passengers traveling Amsterdam-Anchorage-Tokyo would find a book-sized package under their seats containing the seven-ounce polar suit along with a swimming vest. The polar suit was woven from synthetic fibers and featured a layer of aluminum foil lining in the interior and exterior of the garment. These layers were designed to trap heat, ensuring the wearer could maintain an appropriate body temperature for survival.
Besides polar suits, KLM’s DC-7 Arctic flights featured additional equipment for polar emergencies. Supplies included a cozy group sleeping bag, sunglasses to prevent snow blindness, cookware and candles, and even a rifle to defend against polar bear attacks and hunt wild game in the event of a protracted stay in the Arctic tundra.
Fortunately for KLM passengers, the polar suit is out of commission and now only exists as a footnote in airline fashion history. “As far as we know, the suit was never used,” says Ogier. “We don’t have these suits on board anymore because we no longer fly over the North Pole. Instead, we take a shorter route over Russia. That wasn’t possible in 1973.”
“Polar Wear” was originally published in the 10.2 April/May issue of APEX Experience magazine.

Looking for the best men’s suit? Some may call it a travel suit or a tech suit, but look no further than our ultimate guide to the best men’s travel suits.
These suits are all wrinkle-proof, machine washable, comfortable, and super breathable.
We have compared five of the top suits on the market – from Ministry of Supply to Bluffworks to Twillory to xSuit and many more!
From wrinkle-resistant fabrics to being machine-washable, men’s travel suits have come a long way. In this blog post, we’ll take an in-depth look at some of the best men’s travel suits on the market today and compare their features and benefits.
Our #1 Dress Suit. While the most expensive on the list, it's also the one that looks MOST like a suit.
The best of all worlds: not too expensive, not too thick, not too thin... just right.
Super stretchy, machine washable and wrinkle-resistant. This suit is a great pick for anyone that hates traditional suits.
We were shocked at how good this Twillory Suit was, but it's another great pick packed with great features.
But, surprisingly, we’ve found there are a lot of great options – but which travel suit is right for you? Keep reading our honest review ( we’ve personally tested each item on this list ) to find out more!
Best Men’s Travel Suits: Meet the Contenders
We’ve been searching for many years. Here are the suits we are testing for this review: The Ministry of Supply Kinetic Suit, the xSuit 3.0, the Bluffworks Gramercy Suit, the Twillory Performance Suit and the Buck Mason Carry-on Suit.
Want the short story? With exception of the Buck Mason Suit (read our Buck Mason Suit Review ), you really can’t go wrong with any of the suits on this list.
So, which one is right for you? Keep reading our overview to find the right travel suit for you. We aren’t going to be covering super formal suits for men – like a three-piece suit, just the perfect one for your next trip that is crease-resistant (you don’t want to worry about packing it in a suitcase and getting wrinkled before you are even off the plane, do you?)and great for the summer, too.
A quick disclaimer: make sure to tailor any suit you buy
There’s nothing like the feeling of putting on a brand new suit. But sometimes, even the best suits can look a little off.
The secret to making any suit look amazing is custom tailoring.
This doesn’t have to be expensive, but it’s the key to making a suit look its best. Also, all suits shown here are paired with a Mizzen + Main Dress Shirt. Read our Mizzen + Main Review and learn why they are the best performance dress shirt we’ve tested.
Ministry of Supply Velocity Suit – The Best Travel Suits – Overall Pick
This suit does it all: no dry cleaning, lightweight and super comfortable. Also, it's not super expensive. It's a great value.
Meet the Ministry of Supply Velocity Suit – technically the Velocity Blazer and the Velocity Dress Pant – $686 if you buy separate, but get $75 here if you buy together – making it only $611.
The Ministry of Supply Velocity’s suit is impossibly soft, with a fabric that captures the crisp, classic look and feel of wool, without the hassle of dry cleaning.
Built with incredible stretch and wrinkle resistance, it’s ready for whatever the day throws your way.
The suit is also soft (but not quite pajama soft), making it comfortable to wear all day long. The fabric is made from 61% polyester, 33% viscose, and 6% elastane, which gives it a smooth feel and superior drape.
Read our full Ministry of Supply Suit Review for more information and our Ministry of Supply Review .
The Ministry of Supply Velocity suit is the perfect choice for any man who wants to look his best without spending hours at the dry cleaner or ironing their clothes.
What we love about the Ministry of Supply Velocity Suit:
- It’s the best-looking suit we tried, overall
- It’s the most lightweight
- The styling is just impeccable.
What we don’t love about the Ministry of Supply Velocity Suit:
- It’s a couple of hundred dollars more expensive than the others we reviewed.
- It’s not as stretchy as the others we tested – but it is probably the lightest.
xSuit 3.0 – The Perfect Black Suit
I hate to say it, but everyone needs a black suit, either for a black tie affair or a wedding. The xSuit 3.0 is the perfect black suit – it’s machine washable, stretchy, and wrinkle-resistant.
Read the full xSuit Review for more information. Also, check out the newest xSuit 4.0 Review , too.
The xSuit is made from a polyester/spandex blend that makes it super stretchy and comfortable to wear all day long. And, because it’s black, it goes with everything. The xSuit also has a baggier fit, which can – and should – be tailored.
The xSuit 3.0 is only $595 for both the pants and blazer.
Made with Infinite Flex fabric, it stretches to provide unparalleled comfort. It’s also lightweight and breathable, ready for all seasons. I was slightly skeptical at first, since it is slightly thicker than other suits, but it’s actually really comfortable and breathable.
Whether you’re wearing it for the office, travel or events, you probably won’t find a more comfortable or versatile suit than this. They even tested it on extreme sports athletes and yogis to ensure maximum performance. Not only is it machine washable and wrinkle-resistant, but it’s also stain-resistant, meaning that it will last even longer in-between washes.
This is the only water-resistant suit we’ve test, too!
What I love about the xSuit 3.0
- The price! For about $595 for both the blazer and the pants, it’s a great deal.
- The stretch is super incredible.
- The stain resistance is also a great option.
What I don’t love about the xSuit 3.0
- I would only recommend the xSuit in Black, since it might not look as good in some of the grey colors, like the Ministry of Supply or Bluffworks Suit – however, it is PERFECT in black.
- We don’t like the buttons – small issue, but OK.
Bluffworks Gramercy Suit – A great in-between
Actually 2 pieces, the Gramercy Blazer and Gramercy Pants – total: $480
The Gramercy Suit is a great in-between suit: it’s a great price, great weight, and great overall look. While it doesn’t look as good as the Ministry of Supply Suit, it’s also cheaper.
It’s also more casual. There’s nothing wrong with that – it’s just a great in-between suit in the best way possible. If you’re looking for a machine-washable suit that you’ll actually want to wear, the Gramercy Suit is a great option.
Made using technical fabrics, it looks like wool but is soft, wrinkle-resistant, and holds its shape. This suit is perfect for those who want a suit that looks great but is also affordable and easy to care for.
What we love about the Gramercy Suit:
- It’s an in-between in the best way possible: a great price, great weight and overall look.
- Tons of pockets.
- The subtle, cool branding.
- Comes in both waist and inseam sizes.
- Designed for travel
What we don’t love about the Gramercy Suit:
- Not as formal as other brands, but still great.
- Not the cheapest (but also not the most expensive).
All of the Bluffworks products (as you can see in your Bluffworks Review ) are designed with ultimate versatility for travel. If you haven’t check out this great brand, then you’re missing out! Also, don’t miss our Bluffworks Suit Review , too.
This suit also has a ton of pockets, which is great for those who travel a lot. The branding is also subtle and cool, which I appreciate. And, it comes in both waist and inseam sizes, so you can get the perfect fit.
The only downside is that it’s not as formal as some of the other brands we reviewed – but it’s still a great suit.
Twillory Performance Suit
Technically the Performance Pant ($99) and Performance Blazer ($289) – $388 total
The Twillory Performance Suit has arrived! This suit has extreme stretch, doesn’t wrinkle, and NEVER needs dry cleaning.
Read our full Twillory Review for more information.
Some unique features of the Twillory Suit
You can just throw it in the wash as if it’s a tee. The Twillory Blazer looks professional with its 3D shoulder pads and warp-knit fabric, yet provides unmatched comfort and fit.
The matching Performance Pants are also made from non-iron performance fabric with the perfect amount of stretch. The shirt-gripping waistband and secured zipper pockets make these pants functional and stylish. Take your look to the next level with the Twillory Performance Suit.
What we love about Twillory Performance Suit
- The overall look is 1,000 times better than we imagined, this is just a great, AWESOME-looking suit
- Minimal branding
- Super stretch and really comfortable
- The gripper waist band is a game-changer for keeping your suit tucked in!
- The PRICE! This is a great deal on an great suit!
What we didn’t love about the Twillory Performance Suit
- This suit has minimal branding… except this annoying metallic tag on the pants. It even looks hard to take off, we just wish it wasn’t there
In short, we really loved the Twillory Performance Suit. It looks amazing, is super stretchy and comfortable, and is a great price. The only downside is the branding on the pants – but other than that, this suit is great!
Buck Mason Carry On Suit
Incredibly wrinkly and not polished. If you can pull off this suit - more power to you!
The Buck Mason Carry On Suit is a high quality, lightweight and airy suit that can be mixed and matched with other clothes from the brand.
The suit is loose-fitting and designed for comfort, but lacks some of the more advanced features of the other suits on this list – mainly the wrinkle-resistance, which makes this suit a big PASS on our end . The suit wrinkles if you look at it wrong and that’s just not acceptable in our book.
If you’re looking for a good quality, lightweight suit to travel with, we recommend checking out some of the other options on this list. But if you’re set on the Buck Mason Carry On Suit, be sure to call ahead and make sure you have access to an iron – or dry cleaner.
But that won’t even matter, because the second you put it on, the suit will be wrinkled. It may even get wrinkled just thinking about it.
What we like about the Buck Mason Suit:
- Honestly, the only thing we like is that it is Buck Mason and incredibly high quality.
What we don’t like about the Buck Mason Suit:
- Have we mentioned yet that it wrinkles faster than Shar-Pei? It does.
- Wait… have I mentioned yet that you won’t get the crisp, clean look of other suits on this list
So, in short, the Buck Mason Carry On Suit is a great suit for travel if you can pull off the poor newsies look. But if you want a wrinkle-free suit, we recommend checking out some of the other options on this list.
Best Travel Suit: Final Thoughts
Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the suits, except for the Buck Mason Suit. Every other suit on this list is wrinkle-resistant, machine washable and super breathable – perfect for the modern traveler.
So, there you have it! The best travel suits for men, according to us. Did we miss any? Let us know in the comments below!
Happy travels!

The Best Travel Suit And How To Get The Ultimate Fit (2024 Guide)
Travel suits, also known as stretch suits, are a more casual and functional version of the classic suit. Often made with a performance material, travel suits feature benefits like stretch and wrinkle-resistant technology.
However, the problem with most travel and performance suits is the quality of construction. Suits are one of the most complicated items in the world to manufacture, and travel suits typically sold cut corners on the construction, including glued components and cheap detailing hid behind the lining.
So at Sene, we were excited to combine the craftsmanship of bespoke tailoring with the comfort of athleisure. So you can have quality clothing that’s both comfortable and makes you look great.
We took that approach to the next level, with the custom FlexTech Suit .
We're humbled by what people are saying.
Introducing the FlexTech Suit
Most suits are uncomfortable. "Performance suits" often are designed by athletic companies with little experience in premium tailoring.
Sene's FlexTech Suit combines the technical detailing of a $3000 bespoke suit with athleisure material from the top performance fabric mill in the world.
And it's for both women and men
The FlexTech Suit: High-end tailoring meets radical comfort
Available at a accessible price, including free alterations, remakes, exchanges and returns:
- Custom Two-Piece FlexTech Suit: $595
- Custom FlexTech Blazer: $430
- Custom FlexTech Pants: $165
- Four-way stretch: Radical flexibility, making it the perfect travel suit
- Quick dry / moisture wicking: Spill liquid on yourself? Sweat easily? Don't worry - our moisture wicking technology will handle whatever your adventures throw at you
- The same quality as a $3000 bespoke suit : No corners are cut in the construction of this garment. We literally use the exact same craftsmanship applied for our high-end $3000 suits, the only difference is the FlexTech fabric
- Beautiful & functional: The FlexTech Suit is designed to look great across activities and lifestyles, from the office to brunch to a night out. Multiple pockets, and durable construction complete the outfit
- Custom fit: A few sizes do not fit all. We custom-make the fit so that you get exactly what you want, no matter what size you are
You'll find the same bespoke detailing used in a $3000 suit. Plus plenty of pockets for phone, wallet, and other goodies.
Shopping custom is risk-free with our 60 Day Fit-Guarantee
" What happens if it doesn't fit?"
We are so confident in our process that we guarantee an amazing fit. Once you receive your FlexTech suit, try-out the fit for 60 days.
If the fit is off, remakes, alterations, exchanges and returns are free (shipping included).
The perfect travel suit: from plane to meeting, no steaming required
There's no doubt this will become your go-to when you travel.
- Feel ridiculously comfortable onboard with our four-way stretch athleisure fabric
- Look sharp when you land with wrinkle-resistant fabric
Custom-made for real life.
Designed to be versatile, you can easily wear the blazer and pants separately.
All bodies welcome.
Because we make everything from scratch to fit, we can accommodate any body type. Whether you are petite, plus-size, lift heavy or another shape, Sene will look amazing on you and feel even more amazing as you move in them.
Our 1-to-1 model: Only make clothing if there is someone to wear it
Fashion is the 2nd most wasteful industry in the world, with $5 billion dollars of clothing being thrown away every year. We believe the only way to solve it is to nip the problem in the bud - don't make clothes if there isn't someone to wear it.
So we make everything on-demand and custom-fit.
For our FlexTech fabric, we created it with a Japanese mill known for fabric innovation, serving other clients such as Lululemon. More importantly, they are committed to net zero emissions, using recycled synthetics, and upholding cleaner air and water standards.
Create your custom fit with our Smart Fit Quiz
(Smart Fit Quiz in action below)
Upon completion of the campaign, you will be invited to take the Smart Fit Quiz, which is a 19 question quiz. We have a machine learning algorithm based on thousands of body measurements that we use to generate the custom fit. Below are points of customization:
Each garment is laser cut, hand-assembled and then delivered to your home
Your garment goes through a thorough production process, and each piece is made one at a time to order.
There are multiple quality check points across the production process to ensure the fit and craftsmanship are up-to-par.
We have three years of experience and thousands of loyal repeat customers
Ray Li and Mark Zheng are the partners behind Sene. Our mission is to use elevated design to empower people of all shapes and sizes to feel their best.
Sene started in Ray's tiny studio apartment, confusing his doorman with why so many boxes were going out the door. Before launching Sene, Ray was running global rebrands for tech and consumer product companies. Ray started out his career with global process transformations at Deloitte Consulting.
Mark is Ray's cousin, and used to build valuation models for the healthcare industry. Mark is the brains behind Sene's smart fit algorithm and has worked with our factories to connect our patterning software with the production process.
Today their team and advisory board brings experience from places like Deloitte Consulting, Google, IDEO and Interbrand.
All orders start by taking Sene's SmartFit Quiz to create your unique fit.
