The 2023 Tour Championship comes to an end on Sunday, August 27, with the final round at East Lake in Atlanta, Ga. You can find full Tour Championship Sunday tee times at the bottom of this post.

Featured pairing for Round 4

With 18 holes to go before we crown the 2023 FedEx Cup champion, Viktor Hovland is in complete control.

On Saturday at East Lake, several star contenders either stalled are went backward down the leaderboard. Hovland did nothing of the sort, firing a four-under 66 to move to 20 under.

He leads the player in second place, Xander Schauffele , by a whopping six strokes. Should he hold on to win, he’ll earn the $18 million winner’s prize, which comes one week after earning $3.6 million for his victory at the BMW Championship .

Hovland and Schauffele will tee off in the final pairing on Sunday, setting out at 1:40 p.m. ET.

You can stream Sunday’s final round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 11 a.m. ET or watch the action on Golf Channel starting at 12 p.m. ET and 1:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

How To Watch a Tour Championship Live Stream 2023

Viktor Hovland pulled away from the field during the third round, in which he shot 66 and now leads by six. While Hovland was moving forward his rivals were tripping up. Overnight co-leader Collin Morikawa did not register a birdie until the 16th hole, and carded 73; Bradley had three bogeys in four holes; Scheffler three-putted from 12ft; Rahm found water on the 8th which he double bogeyed; Schauffele missed two 4ft putts in the final four holes.

Schauffele is Hovland’s nearest competitor. In seven years of playing the Tour Championship, Schauffele has never shot over par for a round. The six-shot lead Hovland has now mirrors that which Scottie Scheffler had last year starting the final round. Scheffler then shot a final day 73 and lost by a shot.

To make sure you miss none of the action, below are all the streaming and broadcast details on how to watch a Tour Championship live stream from wherever you are, as well as today's tee time information.

For the second successive year, Scottie Scheffler enters the Tour Championship as the number one ranked player in the FedExCup standings. He starts with at least a two-shot advantage over the rest of the field. He will start at -10. The second ranked player, who is Viktor Hovland following his scorching record-breaking win in last week’s BMW Championship, starts at -8.

This year’s Masters Champion Jon Rahm , who won four times in the early part of the year and was on top of the FedExCup standings for 30 straight weeks until he slipped to fourth after the BMW Championship, starts at -6.

Rahm is a shot worse off than third-ranked Rory McIlroy . McIlroy is the defending champion and seeking a record fourth FedExCup title; currently he and Tiger Woods are tied on three wins each. This is McIlroy’s highest position entering the Tour Championship since the FedExCup Starting Strokes format was introduced in 2019.

The portents are poor for Rahm, and indeed this season’s other Major winners in the field, Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman. The last time someone won a Major and the FedExCup in the same season was in 2017 when Justin Thomas did so.

The full list of qualifiers and the strokes they receive is:

McIlroy -7; Rahm -6; Glover -5; Homa, Cantlay, Harman, Clark, Fitzpatrick, -4; Fleetwood , Henley, Bradley, Fowler, Schauffele -3; Kim, Im, Finau, Conners, SW Kim -2; Moore, Taylor, Schenk, Morikawa, Day, -1; Burns, Grillo, Hatton, Spieth, Straka, level par.

2024 T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards: Semifinal Match Results, Championship Match Breakdown

Leona Maguire

The semifinal matches produced more drama on Saturday afternoon in Las Vegas, Nev., and it will be a Solheim Cup showdown in the championship match at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards. Nelly Korda will work to pick up her fourth straight victory as she faces off with Leona Maguire, who is looking for her first LPGA Tour victory since the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give in 2023.

Take a look at the semifinal results and preview the championship match at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards:

Match 1 – Leona Maguire def. Sei Young Kim 3 and 2

Maguire came out swinging against Kim, quickly going 2 up after winning holes one and three. Kim landed a blow with a birdie on the par-5 4th hole to get back to 1 down, but Maguire erased that effort just a couple of holes later, parring the 7th hole to once again move two ahead. The Irishwoman struck again on the par-4 10th hole, now sitting 3 up with eight holes to play, and then tied the next three holes with Kim before the Republic of Korea birdied 14 to get back to 2 down. Maguire quickly answered, winning the 15th hole to hold a three-shot advantage with three holes to play, ultimately closing out Kim 3 and 2 with a par on the 16th to earn a spot in the finals at Shadow Creek.

Match 2 – Nelly Korda def. Narin An 4 and 3

Korda raced out of the gate in her match against An, winning the first three holes to take an early 3-up lead, and after a pair of ties on Nos. 4 and 5, landing a one-two punch of birdies on holes six and seven to move to 5 up on An with 11 holes remaining. The Republic of Korea native finally steadied herself with a win on the 10th hole to get back to 4 down, but Korda immediately erased that effort by winning 11 to once again sit five ahead. An tried to get some momentum going in her final holes with a win on the par-3 13th hole, but that effort wound up being futile as the pair tied the next two holes, handing Korda the 4-and-3 semifinal victory in Las Vegas.

Championship Match Tee Time

Match 7, 4:55 p.m. et – leona maguire vs. nelly korda.

Maguire vs. Korda Solheim Cup History

Korda and Maguire have both represented their respective countries in recent years as members of the U.S. and European Solheim Cup teams. Korda has teed it up in three of the biennial team competitions and boasts a 7-4-1 record with 7.5 points earned for the United States. Maguire has played in the last two iterations of the Solheim Cup, going undefeated as a rookie in 2021 with a 4-0-1 at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, and has also recorded 7.5 points for the European Team with a 7-2-1 record.

The pair faced off in two different matches in the team-play portion of the 2021 Solheim Cup, and Maguire, alongside her partner Mel Reid, defeated Korda both times in foursomes. They also played against each other in team play at Finca Cortesin in 2023, and Korda finally picked up a victory against Maguire, finishing 1 up over the Duke University alum and her partner Anna Nordqvist with Allisen Corpuz in the Friday morning foursomes matches.

Maguire answered the call, however, on Saturday afternoon, beating Korda and Ally Ewing 4 and 3 while partnered with LPGA Tour winner Charley Hull and picking up her third career Solheim Cup match victory over the current Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings No. 1.

2024 Masters odds, field: Surprising PGA picks, predictions from top-rated golf model that's nailed 10 majors

Sportsline's proven model simulated the masters 2024 10,000 times and revealed its pga golf picks for augusta national.

rory-tiger-usatsi.jpg

Back surgery sidelined Will Zalatoris for nine months last year, causing him to miss all four majors. He returned in December and is part of the 2024 Masters field, much to the dismay of his fellow golf pros. Zalatoris has been as dominant in majors as one could be without a victory, with six top-10 finishes across his last nine starts. That includes three runners-up, including at the 2021 Masters, and he placed sixth in his other appearance at Augusta National. Zalatoris is on the short list of best players to never win a major championship, a list that includes Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay, among others. Should any of these players factor into your 2024 Masters picks ahead of Thursday's opening 2024 Masters tee times?

Scottie Scheffler is the 13-4 favorite in the Masters 2024 odds, followed by Rory McIlroy (10-1) and Jon Rahm (12-1). Tiger Woods is going off at 100-1 odds to win. Before locking in any 2024 Masters picks of your own, entering picks on sites like DraftKings or FanDuel, or finalizing Masters props and Masters Pick Six entries, be sure to see the 2024 Masters golf predictions and projected leaderboard from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

SportsLine's proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June 2020. In fact, the model is up nearly $9,500 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament. McClure's model predicted Scottie Scheffler would finish on top of the leaderboard at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship this season. McClure also included Hideki Matsuyama in his best bets to win the 2024 Genesis Invitational. That bet hit at +9000, and for the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned nearly $1,000. The model also predicted Jon Rahm would be victorious at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express. At the 2023 Masters, the model was all over Rahm's second career major victory heading into the weekend. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner. It was the second straight Masters win for the model, which also nailed Scheffler winning in 2022. In addition, McClure's best bets included Nick Taylor (70-1) winning the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, Jason Day (17-1) winning outright at the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson, and Rickie Fowler (14-1) finishing on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic. This same model has also nailed a whopping 10 majors entering the weekend, including the past two Masters. Anyone who has followed it has seen massive returns.

Now that the Masters 2024 field finalized, SportsLine simulated the tournament 10,000 times, and the results were surprising. Head to SportsLine now to see the projected leaderboard.

Top 2024 Masters predictions

One major surprise the model is calling for at the 2024 Masters: Rory McIlroy, a four-time major champion and one of the co-favorites, fails to complete the career grand slam and barely cracks the top five at Augusta National. We're coming upon a decade since McIlroy's last major win, and he has nearly twice as many missed cuts (seven) at majors over that span than top-three finishes (four). Two of those missed cuts have come over the Irishman's last three Augusta starts. McIlroy has broken par in just two of his last eight rounds at the Masters.

This year hasn't been promising to McIlroy's chances at Augusta, as he has just one top-10 finish against a softer field at the Texas Open. McIlroy's short game has been a catalyst for his struggles, as he ranks 124th in strokes gained: around-the-green and 78th in total putting. His scoring average (actual) on the PGA Tour ranks just 61st, so those metrics don't line up with the second-shortest odds. Thus, the model is avoiding McIlroy in 2024 Masters bets since it doesn't see much value with him at 10-1.

Another surprise: Jordan Spieth, a 20-1 longshot, makes a strong run at the title. He has a much better chance to win it all than his odds imply, so he's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday. Spieth's game fits Augusta National well and he has the results to prove it. Spieth won the Masters in 2015 in wire-to-wire fashion. He's also secured a top-four finish in six of his 10 starts at Augusta National, which includes a fourth-place showing in 2023. Spieth is coming off a 10th-place finish at last week's Valero Texas Open and enters the 2024 Masters as one of the most well-rounded golfers in the 2024 Masters field.

In fact, Spieth is currently ranked third in putting average (1.671), fifth in birdie average (4.88), eighth in strokes gained: total (1.203) and 23rd in total driving (135). If he's striking the ball well this week, he'll have a great shot at finishing on top of the leaderboard at the 2024 Masters.  See who else to pick here .

How to make 2024 Masters picks

The model is also targeting four other golfers with odds of 20-1 or longer to make a strong run at the green jacket. Anyone who backs these longshots could hit it big. You can only see the model's picks here .

Who will win the 2024 Masters, and which longshots will stun the golfing world? Check out the Masters 2024 odds below and then visit SportsLine to see the projected Masters leaderboard, all from the model that's nailed 10 golf majors, including last year's Masters and Open Championship .

The Five Players to Watch at the Masters

Among them are golfers who have won the event before and have a good chance to do it again.

Scottie Scheffler, wearing a light blue shirt, a white ball cap, and khaki pants, swings a large golf club.

By Michael Arkush

No golfer has repeated as the champion of the Masters Tournament, which begins on Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club, since Tiger Woods successfully defended his crown in 2002.

Such is the challenge facing Spain’s Jon Rahm, who closed with a 69 last year to secure his second major title. He also won the 2021 United States Open.

Rahm, who signed with LIV Golf in late 2023, will be one of the favorites.

Here are five other players to watch:

Scottie Scheffler

The strong favorite will be Scheffler, who is so precise from tee to green. When he is making putts, as he’s been doing lately, he seems unbeatable.

Ranked No. 1 in the world, Scheffler turned in a six-under 66 in the final round to capture the Arnold Palmer Invitational last month. One week later, he shot an eight-under 64 to rally to win his second consecutive Players Championship, which no player had done since the tournament — considered the unofficial fifth major — began in 1974.

The true test of his greatness, however, will depend on how he fares in the official majors. Scheffler, 27, who tied for second in March at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, has one major title, the Masters in 2022 .

Brooks Koepka

Koepka , 33, made a run at the green jacket last year before faltering with a final-round 75 to tie for second, four strokes behind Rahm.

The next month, he took the P.G.A. Championship, his fifth major. One more and he’ll match the total of Phil Mickelson, Lee Trevino and Nick Faldo.

Koepka said his inability to close the deal at Augusta National last year helped pave the way for his win at the P.G.A.

“I think failure is how you learn,” he told reporters at the P.G.A. “You get better from it. You realize what mistakes you’ve made.”

Phil Mickelson

It wouldn’t be a shock if three-time Masters champion Mickelson, 53, were to miss the cut. He missed the cut in last year’s U.S. and British Opens and tied for 58th in the P.G.A. Championship.

It also wouldn’t be a shock if his name popped up on the leaderboard late Sunday afternoon.

That’s what happened last year when he fired a 65 to tie for second behind Rahm. In 2021, Mickelson won the P.G.A. Championship at age 50, becoming the oldest golfer to win a major.

Could there be another week of magic in Mickelson on a course he knows so well?

Hideki Matsuyama

For one thing, Matsuyama , 32, is a former Masters champion. In 2021, he became the first Japanese man to win a golf major, edging Will Zalatoris by a stroke.

For another, he has been playing extremely well in recent months.

In February, he recorded a 62 on Sunday to capture the Genesis Invitational by three.

In March, he tied for 12th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Then, Matsuyama, who has nine tour victories, tied for sixth in the Players Championship. And on Sunday, he tied for seventh in the Valero Texas Open.

Jordan Spieth

Put aside how he has performed recently — he hadn’t cracked the top 25 for nearly two months, until tying for 10th in the Valero Texas Open — and keep in mind that Spieth , still only 30, often comes to life when he tees it up at Augusta National.

Last year was no exception.

Spieth, now ranked No. 18, closed with a 66 to end up in a tie for fourth. In 2021, he tied for third. In 10 appearances at Augusta since his Masters debut in 2014, Spieth, the winner in 2015, has notched six top five finishes.

“From the moment I got here,” the three-time major champion told Golf Digest in 2023. “I was always very excited, and I wanted to learn it and fall in love with it.”

Nelly korda, aiming for a fourth straight lpga win, faces leona maguire in final at t-mobile match play, share this article.

tour championship fourth round tee times

Can Nelly Korda make it four in a row?

On Sunday, she won’t need to fend off an entire field to claim another LPGA title. This time, she’ll need to outduel Leona Maguire in the championship at the T-Mobile Match Play at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas.

Maguire has been the best golfer this week. After 54 holes of stroke play, she was at 6 under, three better than the field. When the format flipped to match play Saturday, Maguire beat Sei Young Kim 3 and 2 in the semifinals after knocking out Moriya Jutanugarn 4 and 3 earlier in the day.

Korda, meamwhile, was 1 under after the first three days but then topped Angel Yin 3 and 2 in the quarterfinals and Narin An 4 and 3 in the semis.

The match play event stretched over five days and had a new format in 2024, with the first two days consisting of 36 holes of stroke play with a cut to the top 65 and ties. After the third round Friday, there was a second cut to the top eight players, who were then seeded in a match-play bracket with No. 1 taking on No. 8, No. 2 taking on No. 7 and so on.

If Korda can win Sunday, she’ll make it four wins in four straight starts, including three in the last three weeks after winning the Ford Championship in Arizona and the Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship near Los Angeles. She also won in January at the LPGA Drive On Championship.

The longest winning streak on the LPGA is five, with Nancy Lopez first doing it in 1978 and Annika Sorenstam over the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

The LPGA is off next week and then it’s the first women’s major of 2024 at the Chevron Championship.

GILBERT, Ariz. (AP) — Nelly Korda won her hometown event in a playoff after closing eagle-birdie. She withstood brutal wind in Southern California to win in another playoff last week.

The world No. 1 made it three straight by staying steady through a soggy Sunday in the desert.

Korda became the first LPGA Tour player in eight years to win three straight starts, shooting a 7-under 65 to rally for for a two-stroke victory in the Ford Championship.

“It’s very hard mentally to be 100% especially after a win, especially playing in tough conditions,” Korda said. “So as boring as it sounds I was just taking it shot by shot and seeing where I was going to end up. To get three in a row, that’s just a dream come true.”

Korda won the Drive On Championship in late January in her hometown of Bradenton, Florida, before sitting out all of the LPGA Tour’s Asian swing. She was still sharp after a seven-week break, winning the Fir Hill Seri Pak Championship in a playoff last week outside Los Angeles to move back atop the world ranking.

Korda stayed steady through four days in the desert, entering the final round two shots back through weather that got progressively worse at Seville Golf and Country Club.

Korda nearly holed out her second shot on the short par-4 16th to take the lead and birdied No. 18 to finish at 20-under 268 for her 11th career LPGA victory. She’s the first LPGA Tour player to win three straight starts since Ariya Jutanugarn in 2016 and first American since Nancy Lopez won five straight 1978.

“(It) just honestly feels like a blur,” Korda said. “Taking it day by day, really trying to stay very present and just played really good golf, solid golf in tough conditions today, which I’m very happy about.”

Australian rookie Hira Naveed was in position to tie Korda after hitting her second shot just right of the par-5 18th, but an indifferent chip led to a par. The former Pepperdine player shot 66 to finish second at 18 under in her second career start.

Lexi Thompson briefly shared the lead and was within a shot through 15 holes in her bid to win for the first time since 2019. She hit driver on the 16th and sent it way right into the water, leading to a bogey.

Thompson also missed a short par putt on No. 17 before closing with a two-putt birdie on 18 to shoot 68. She finished in a five-way tie for fourth at 17 under.

“It was crazy conditions, but it was almost just like it gets to where it’s mental when it comes to these kind of conditions,” Thompson said. “You just have to stay positive with it and know that pars are a good score. If you have a good number, take advantage of it; try to shoot for the pin and make some birdies.”

Temperatures dropped dramatically and steady rain fell most of the final round, adding a layer of difficulty at a tournament that started with two days of record-setting scores .

The inclement weather did little to slow the leaders down, with four players tied for the lead and 11 within two shots early on the back nine.

Korda had consecutive birdies starting on No. 4 to kick off her final round and added another on the par-4 ninth to turn in 3-under 33. She tied for the lead with a birdie on the par-5 12th and took it outright at 18 under by making a 6-foot birdie putt on 13.

Thompson and Haveed tied her, but Korda went back up with her near holeout on 16, setting up a birdie that gave her a one-shot lead. Korda hit a massive drive on No. 18 and chipped to three feet for a closing birdie.

“Just tried to stay really aggressive and I knew I had to shoot a low one to be in contention,” Korda said “Just played really smart golf out there today.”

Naveed made the record-low cut of 5 under on the number and raced up the leaderboard with a third-round 65 before the winds picked up. She pulled into a tie for the lead at 18 under with a birdie on the island par-3 17th, but left her chip on 18 about 20 feet short and missed the putt.

“It’s just breathing a sigh of relief really and just saying, ‘All right, put your head down, there is scoring opportunities out there,’” Naveed said. “Just go out there and try to do the best you can, commit to every shot, and try and hole some putts. So happy to do that on the weekend.”

So is Korda after putting herself in position to make it four straight at the T-Mobile Match Play next week in Las Vegas.

The Masters Preview:

The first major championship is here as Augusta National is in full bloom. Eighty nine players will tee it up for a Green Jacket and bragging rights.

Among the 89 players, 13 LIV golfers are in the field, including former Masters winners Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, Charl Schwartzel, Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, and defending champ Jon Rahm .

Joaquin Niemann, Bryson DeChambeau and Cam Smith are three other LIV players that could perform well at Augusta National.

Niemann is on a burner this season after winning two LIV Golf events. He received a special invitation to play in the Masters, so watch out for this Chilian because Niemann wants to prove a point.

However, Brooks Koepka should scare the rest of the field. He almost won the Masters last year and went on to win the PGA Championship. Koepka wants that green jacket bad, and this year could be the year it happens.

World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler already has two wins under his belt this season, as he went back-to-back at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players. Scheffler came up short at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, but his game was almost unbeatable. A couple of putts prevented him from winning three in a row.

Scheffler is another to watch as he eyes his second green jacket. He has the momentum on his side, and it’ll be interesting to see if Scheffler shows up with his beard at Augusta National.

Rory McIlroy is once again attempting the career grand slam at Augusta National. He recently received a lesson from legendary coach Butch Harmon and will play at the Valero Texas Open to prep for the Masters. The four-time major winner already has a win on the DP World Tour but had not finished inside the Top 10 in any PGA Tour event entering the Valero Texas Open this weekend.

Swedish phenom Ludvig Åberg is making his Masters debut, but don’t count him out. His game is made for Augusta. He could shock the world this week. Viktor Hovland found success last year, finishing T7, and looks to build off that in 2024. While struggling to find his swing with a new coach, he thrives at Augusta National, so don’t overlook him.

Of course, Tiger Woods is in the field and will play for the first time since his Genesis withdrawal. Will he be able to keep up and do something special, or could the golf world see him head home Friday evening?

This field is full of the best golfers, and the storylines are plentiful. The tournament winner will be determined by who can keep it in the fairway and limit the mistakes. Who will don the Green Jacket on Sunday?
