Top airline flying from Dublin to Tours
flight delayed, no information given until late on, Ryanair app said "on time" until 5 minutes before expected departure time, crew rushed us to board, when it was already 3 hours late
Speakers were blaring. It's like being in a Moroccan market and you keep getting shouted at with what's for sale
Due to long security check and no last call announcements from Gate staff, my family and 12 other passengers missed the flight.
very delayed boarding; the crew started the service extremely late and everything felt like they didn't want to be there and do their jobs; the pilot changed her mind about landing :))))))))) and we spent 10 more minutes circling around the airport before landing, eventually!!! lack of communication = lack of professionalism. she could have said 'ladies and gentlemen, due to us having taken off very late, we have lost our landing permissions and we'll have to wait some more', but she chose to shut up. big mistake that reflects poorly on the airline and herself.
Everything’s went straight forward, no issues, good service and friendly crew
Ryanair is the worst airline in Europe and easily one of the worst in the planet
Loupé l'avion pas pu embarquer mon bagage en soute. Pas compris l'heure de fermeture.
The Ryanair staff was not polite. We all travelled with the same suitcases as we departed from Thessaloniki, however they decided that for some passengers the suitcase was not the rigth one as far as the dimensions are concerned. Furthermore, one air stewardess asked passengers to close themselves the luggage cabinet in order to prove that the lugagge was not properly fitted, which i think is very unkind and unprofessional. We also had to wait outside , some metres away from the plane until last passengers came off....It was generally a dissapointing experience.
I hate Ryanair and have decided never to fly with them again, they treat you like animals on the way to slaughter and they never take responsibility for their errors and lousy service.
While this flight from Dublin to Venice boarded on time, its departure was delayed by about an hour because, apparently, there were no demonstration kits on board, and we couldn't depart until the safety demonstration was completed. We were informed that we were in danger of losing our delayed slot if Ryanair engineering didn't provide the kits 'soon', which would have resulted in an additional two-hour delay. Thankfully, we didn't incur that additional delay. It's not clear where the source of this problem lies but it needs to be addressed to ensure it does not recur for other flights in the future.

Irish Highlights (Summer, 7 Days)
The Irish Highlights Trafalgar Tour was excellent. The tour director and driver were great and the events and scenery were amazing. The weather was very hot and it was good that fans were available in the rooms.
- €100 deposit on some dates Some departure dates offer you the chance to book this tour with a lower deposit.
The Celtic Voyage - Multi-Day - Small Group Tour of Ireland
This tour was so good! We experienced more of Ireland than the itinerary indicated (because of stops we made along our journey, which I loved!), but never felt rushed. Our guide Diarmuid is such a professional - he provided us with interesting information about the places we stopped and Ireland in general, kept us on schedule with a relaxed demeanor, and is genuinely a very nice person. I've never traveled with a tour group before and this one couldn't have been any better. The Emerald Isle is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly that, even when there was a bit of rain, it was still fun. Many thanks to Mick and Diarmuid (the best!!) for making this a most memorable trip. PS the accommodations were fantastic - especially the breakfasts!
Wild South - Multi-Day - Small Group Tour of Ireland
Perfect size small group tour to allowed some small deviations due to weather and group vote that highlighted the most picturesque, historical, and thrilling sights of Southwest Ireland. Diarmuid and Michael proved worthy guides who are proud, passionate and knowledgeable about their homeland. My daughters and I truly enjoyed some of the recommended extra excursions (Gaelic Roots show with premium seating, Skellig Islands boat tour, and kayaking) along the way. Bring your rain gear and see Ireland without worrying about driving (these country roads are narrow). Absolutely amazing. Accommodations and breakfasts were nice, though room temp is generally out of your control in Ireland. Our favorites were Mizen Head, the Dingle Peninsula, and Killarney National Park. Will stick with us for life!
10 Day Wild Irish Experience - Small Group Tour
Best tour I’ve been on! Wonderful itinerary, beautiful accommodations, and our driver/guide was fantastic. He had so much information about every place we visited and we loved hearing about him and his life in Ireland as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
- €99 deposit on some dates Some departure dates offer you the chance to book this tour with a lower deposit.
Best of Ireland (10 Days)
Fantastic tour guide and exceptional driver! Every excursion was well worth the cost. I enjoyed the food and sights! I would highly recommend it
8 Day Castles & Coast Experience - Small Group Tour
We will be booking another trip next summer. Lee was an excellent tour guide. Accommodations were as good as I have ever stayed in. Already ???? ng forward to traveling with Castles and Coast group. Thx for great trip. Gary and Suzie.
7-Day Ireland to Island Small Group Tour of Ireland
Last week my wife and I did the seven day Ireland to Island tour. It was amazing, and our guide Pat was awesome! We saw and did so many things during our adventure, there's no way we could have seen and done all that we did if we would have tried to plan a trip ourselves. All the details were taken care of. Pat ensured there was flexibility when it came to activities, meals, and nighttime activities. Plus, Pat had so much knowledge of the history and culture of Ireland, it was like we experienced a college-level course on those subjects over the course of our trip. We also had the privilege of having Jessica, a relatively new employee of Overland, join us on the tour. Her added perspective and fun personality were an unexpected bonus. We learned that Jessica plans personalized tours, so if you are looking for that instead of a small group tour you will be fortunate to work with Jessica to make that happen. You will not be disappointed if choose Overland Ireland!
Introduction to Ireland
Our tour guide was Tiarnan....he was excellent and had a wealth of knowledge. I would definitely go with Globus again!! :)
7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small Group Tour
What a GREAT trip! Loved the opportunity to see so much of Ireland while still being active and engaged daily. The walking, hiking and kayaking adventures were tremendous ways to experience and see more than I could have done on my own. I really enjoyed the small group tour and felt lucky that we all got along so well. Eoin, our guide, was funny, patient and a great storyteller as he talked about the history of every area we encountered. I'd definitely recommend Overland Ireland for anyone interested in this kind of trip.
7-Day Emerald Explorer Small Group Tour
Loved every minute of this tour. Pat our guide was first class.
7 Day Ultimate Atlantic Adventure – Small Group Tour
This was by far the best way to see Ireland! We had an amazing time. It was planned enough that there was always something to do, but also still enough free time to do your own thing. Amazing!!
Focus on Ireland (Classic, 7 Days)
Fantastic tour. Gregg looked after needs, worked tirelessly and ensured that all important points and places were covered. Great personality, very personable, knowledgeable and outgoing.
5-Day Spectacular South and West small group Tour of Ireland
I really enjoyed the tour: It has been my first experience travelling in a group and I will do it again, it is so relaxing! The group was small and we had a very good time together. Our tourguide was excellent with a lot of knowledge about Ireland and about all those small things about history, people, life. We went to many places also a lot of small towns just to get a snack and have a visit there. Everything was well organized and all our needs were taken into account.
Kerry Royal
Overall good...don't like showers over tub..dangerous...slip mats essential. Gresham Dublin confusing because of the Reno's. Our tour leader and driver were excellent, but the relief driver for our visit to Dingle was downright scary.
What people love about Ireland Tours from Dublin
The entire trip was wonderful, very well organized, and satisfying. Peter Flood was an excellent tour guide. He was as knowledgeable as could be, funny, and helpful; and really seems to love what he does.

Viking Splash Tour, Dublin
All aboard? It’s time to channel your inner Viking – but in something a little more high tech than a longboat. Your transport on this tour is a repurposed amphibious vehicle from the World War II, which trundles thrillingly straight from land to water with a – you guessed it – splash!
Making pit stops at many of Dublin’s most beloved landmarks, and narrated by seriously energetic and engaging guides, the Viking Splash encourages you to get right into character. Rip-roaring Viking yells are encouraged throughout – especially when passing pedestrians!
Trad music instrument
Traditional Irish music and the Irish pub go hand in hand. Truth be told, there’s nothing quite like a rousing session by the fireside, toes tapping to the beat and singing along when the chorus comes around again.
Led by two local musicians, this evening tour takes you on a guided tour from Temple Bar through the much-loved trad music haunts along O’Connell Street, Cathedral Street and Temple Bar. Seats are reserved everywhere you go, and although drinks aren’t included, the free "craic" (fun) is unlimited!
Kayaking on the River Liffey, Dublin city
Pounding the pavement is a sure way to get to know a city – but how about paddling along its river? The Liffey bisects Dublin, like a flowing barrier that keeps the friendly rivalry between northsiders and southsiders alive.
Taking to the water is a truly memorable experience. Gliding under the Ha’penny Bridge; cruising past the 18th century Custom House; or gazing up at the masts of The Jeanie Johnston from right beside it, you can appreciate just how central the river has been throughout Dublin’s remarkable evolution from Viking settlement to modern capital.
Dublin Literary Pub Crawl, Dublin city
The Literary Pub Crawl walks you through the streets of Dublin, enlivening them with the words of Ireland’s greatest writers. Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, Samuel Beckett and Brendan Behan are all brought to life through the acting and orating of the local guides, whose passion comes second only to their expertise.
As well as the perfectly crafted words of our literary greats, the tour is peppered with stories of the wordsmiths’ lives and loves, rooting them right here on the streets where you stand. It’s a powerful reminder of how Ireland has inspired genius for generations – maybe you’ll pick up a pen yourself when the night ends!
Vintage Tea Tour, Dublin city
How would you like to see the sights of Dublin while sitting back and enjoying some delicious afternoon tea nibbles? Sounds good? The Vintage Tea Trip offers just that. Board the distinctive blue and yellow bus in Temple Bar and savour all the classic afternoon tea offerings, including scones with clotted cream and jam, finger sandwiches and delicious cakes.
A soundtrack of 1950s jazz will accompany you on your tour, and while you’re eating, your guide will tell you some great Dublin stories as you pass Dublin highlights, such as St Stephen’s Green, Trinity College, Phoenix Park , and the gorgeous 19th century Georgian buildings of Dublin.
Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin city
The Gravedigger Ghost Tour is after dark, and shows off Dublin in quite a different light. Departing College Green each evening, this special bus brings you from St Audeon’s haunted church to historic Kilmainham Goal , passing Dublin Castle and Christ Church Cathedral on the way to your final destination: The Gravediggers’ Pub. Next to Glasnevin Cemetery, here you get a restorative drink and a grand finale on body snatching.
If you love to be spooked, you can also try the Haunted History Walking Tour of Dublin , where you'll feel a cold shiver up your spine as your guide reveals the paranormal phenomena around Dublin, as well as walk by the mysterious 18th century Hellfire Club, and many more spooky locations...
The Pepper Pot Café, Powerscourt Townhouse, Dublin city
With the purity of Ireland’s natural larder, Ireland’s food is always packed with outstanding flavours, ably assisted by chefs who love putting a contemporary twist on traditional dishes. Dublin, of course, reaps the rewards with great restaurants scattered across the city.
Run by a mix of food writers, photographers and chefs, the Dublin Tasting Trail is made for foodies, by foodies. Over the course of three hours, you’ll visit six or seven venues, and enjoy a deliciously authentic taste of Dublin.

- Alexandra McDonald ★★★★★ 3 weeks ago What a fantastic and professional tour company! This Wild Rover tour from Dublin to the Cliffs was the perfect choice for my 7 year old and me. We were visiting Dublin for a long weekend and the Cliffs had been a bucket list item, and not stressing about driving was my main reason for booking. I reserved on their website directly (a fair price!) and went to the meeting point that day at 7am. They have … More large, comfortable coaches with their logo. The Cliffs are magnificent and a must-see! The driver Garry and our guide Rory were so professional and entertaining. Rory pointed out landmarks as we drove, gave us a comprehensive history of Ireland, and had such a lovely personality all day! We made a rest stop on the route there and back (no WC on the bus). We returned back at 7:30pm and it was such a great (albeit long) day. Furthermore, Rory came through the cabin as we were arriving back in Dublin to answer any personal questions we had about the area, and took a few minutes to recommend local restaurants, pubs, and experiences that we would find useful. Absolutely recommend!!
- Rosemary ★★★★★ 2 days ago During our stay in Dublin we took two of Wild Rover's Tours. They were both extremely organized and the guides and drivers were all amazing. I can't say enough good things about these tours. They maximize the trip so you get the most out of your time. The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. Both of our bus drivers were extremely safe drivers. The buses were clean, comfortable and … More had USB plugs easily accessible. Before we booked the tours we sent a few inquiry emails which were answered very promptly. Everything was amazing from start to finish. A bit about our Tours - The Cliffs of Moher, Atlantic Edge Ocean Walk & Galway (Rory was our tour guide & Brian was our Bus Driver) - This was SOOOOOOOO well worth it. The Cliffs were superb and you have 2 hours to explore them. The Atlantic Edge Ocean had amazing views and the countryside we drove through was picturesque. In Galway we walked to Merchant Row and had a lovely lunch at the Kings Head (this was one of the recommendations Rory gave us and it did not disappoint.) Rory was funny, charming and balanced our tour time with history, funny antidotes and was so helpful at every opportunity. Brian was a great driver and I felt completely safe in his care. Our second tour was - Giants Causeway & Belfast City Day (Barbara was our guide & John was our bus driver) - What a lovely day. If your a GoT fan, you will get to see several locations used in the show. You will have a choice to go to the Titanic Museum or the Black Cab Tours (I highly recommend the Taxi tours). The locations were amazing, the scenery was lovely and we had more than enough time at each of the locations. Barbara was fun and played a lot of music which certainly got us into the mood at each place we went to. She answered a lot of questions and John even spoke Gaelic for us! He was a great and safe driver.
- Bob Carey ★★★★ ☆ 3 weeks ago Our tour guide Barbara was great. She was very entertaining and informative. The Giants Causeway was beautiful and breathtaking. My only disappointment was the Black Cab tour. Our driver was not aware of our passengers, at one point we had to get back in the cab to go no more than 150 feet…. He presented the time of the Troubles from his perspective as a youth growing up. Otherwise, I highly recommend … More Wild River.
- Sara Mouyass ★★★★★ a week ago Absolutely informative and lovely tour to the Cliffs of Moher! Both our driver and guide were really nice people, and respectful of our morning tiredness! Our guide, Yvonne, gave absolutely useful and historical info as well as fun stories/facts when that was needed. I'd recommend Wild Rover anytime if you'd like to spend an amazing journey across Ireland! 😊 Thank you!
- Brenda Burrows ★★★★★ a week ago We went on the Giant’s Causeway and Titanic museum tour and can thoroughly recommend it. Great driver (Krishnan) and excellent tour guide (Una). Good mix of Irish history, folk lore and culture served up with humour and practical tips. Beautiful coastal scenery.
- Helen Lim ★★★★★ a week ago Thank you very much to Dave and Marko for a fantastic Dramatic Day Tour to North Ireland (from Dublin) to Titanic Experience at Belfast, Dulunce Castle and Giant's Causeway which allowed me to tick off my bucket list. Although this is a long day trip, it is worth every minute for around 2 hours at the UNESCO World heritage Giants Causeway which is an ancient creation around 60 million years ago, … More created by volcanic fissure eruptions which layered the surrounding area with 40,000 interlocking basaltic columns. It is mind boggling and magical to be able to scramble over and explore such a natural phenomenon. Do tread carefully as the basalt columns are uneven and slippery. We took the Red trail which overlooks the polygonal column formations, and midway turn left to some stone stairs which lead you down to the hexagonal shaped basaltic columns by the coast. This route is around 40 minutes one way. Then you can walk back up 15 mins by the easier Blue trail. You can opt to pay EUR1.20 or GBP1 to take the shuttle bus back up, which runs every 20 minutes. Go early to the Tour meet up venue before 6:45am as they let early birds queue up for their seats (except for 1st 2 rows reserved for elderly and pregnant guests). The lovely scenic atrim coast ride is spectacularly scenic. Dave is a humorous guide who explained about the sites, and joked, and kindly helped to take a few pictures, for us. The historical 500 years old Dunluce Castle remnants (set against a steep cliffside of the North Atlantic ocean) also make for gorgeous photographs. The Titanic Experience is a 2 hour interactive and immersive time, in a modern and expensive building. Marko is a safe and efficient driver. Highly recommended great Day Tour, to make new friends from other countries. We were blessed with mostly sunny / a tad cloudy but no rain weather. Kindly tip your guide and driver generously please. Helen
- Chang Liu ★★★★★ 2 weeks ago We did the Cliffs of Moher and Galway tour with Kiera and had the best time. Kiera was simply one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had! She explained the Irish history so thoroughly and clearly; she might as well be a history professor! She’s also very funny and so, so friendly. All the shops and restaurants she recommended in Galway were spot on. The tour’s organization was quite smooth and we can’t … More complain a thing. Highly recommend wild rover tours.
- Michelle Calheiros ★★★★★ 3 weeks ago I went to Ireland in April '24 and booked two day tours leaving from Dublin; one to the Cliffs and another to Wicklow. Both tours were amazing, truly! I never really leave reviews but felt compelled to share my positive experience because I traveled solo and felt safe and entertained the entire time. I made friends on the trip and got to experience some amazing places, some really good food, and … More a lot of cool stories thanks to the guides. The day to Wicklow was with Liam, he was extremely funny and very passionate about the locations we visited. The day tour to the cliffs was with Ciara and Steven, both very helpful, fun, and professional. Overall, I had an amazing experience, and I would recommend Wild Rover to anyone looking to see Ireland and learn about the beautiful country while having a lot of fun.
- Mary Norton ★★★★★ 4 weeks ago We truly enjoyed this tour! The driver and host were so knowledgeable and entertaining. The visit to Kilkenny was grand. The experience in the mountains, holy land and sheep farm were all beautiful and lovely! You need to do this tour!
