It's a dream come true for S Club 7 fans — they're reuniting for a tour!

S Club 7

One of the hottest bands of the early 2000s is reuniting to prove that "there ain’t no party like an S Club party."

S Club 7, a British pop band that rose to fame with hits like “Bring It All Back,” “Never Had a Dream Come True” and “S Club Party,” just announced that they're hitting the road next fall for a much-anticipated reunion tour.

Twenty-five years after the band first formed, they stopped by the BBC's "The One Show" on Feb. 13 to share the exciting news.

"We are very excited to say that we are going back out on tour in October," band member Rachel Stevens said. "We’re just so excited to get back out there and sing our hearts out and perform. We're celebrating 25 years, which is just crazy."

When asked what fans can expect from the tour, band member Bradley McIntosh teased a few details.

"Obviously, we’re bringing the nostalgia. Obviously we're bringing the late '90s, early (2000s), so it's a lot of fun. It's very positive, our music, very positive," he said. "And I think in today's times you need a bit of positive, you need a bit of picking up so that's what we're here to do."

The news is likely a dream come true for S Club 7 fans, but there's one caveat: the tour only has European dates. The band will perform 11 shows across the continent, stopping in cities like Liverpool, Dublin, Glasgow, London and Birmingham.

Fans can sign up for the presale on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. GMT and tickets open up to the general public on Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. GMT.

In addition to Stevens and McIntosh, the other five members of S Club 7 — Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Jo O’Meara and Hannah Spearritt — are also on board for the reunion.

Fans of the band are naturally psyched for the news and flooded the comments section of the Instagram announcement.

"My 10 year old self is SCREAMING!!!!!" one wrote. Another commented, "Omg!!! My heart!!!! I listen to y’all every day in NYC ♥️♥️♥️ I gotta get out there!!"

Still, they were a bit disappointed to hear that the band doesn't have any North American dates on their tour.

"U.S. American fans crying ourselves to sleep tonight," one said. Another chimed in, writing, "I hope y’all come to America! I got so excited when the news was announced."

S Club 7 initially teased the announcement over the weekend with their very first Instagram post, and many fans were hopeful that they were going back on tour or releasing new music.

"I’m screaming. I’ve been waiting 20 years for this. S Club is about to take over the world of Pop," one wrote.

Per the BBC , this tour marks the first time the band will hit the road together since 2015.

As avid fans will recall, S Club 7 had their own BBC TV series ("Miami 7") and several hit albums. The band went their separate ways in 2003, according to the BBC , but reunited for a charity performance in 2014. In 2015, they released new music and went on tour once again.

S Club 7’s Reunion Tour to Continue Despite Paul Cattermole’s Death

  • By Daniel Kreps

Daniel Kreps

British pop group S Club 7 announced Sunday that their reunion tour will still happen despite the recent death of founding member Paul Cattermole. However, they’ll continue on as a quintet after revealing that singer Hannah Spearritt has dropped off the European trek, which kicks off in October.

On Valentine’s Day, the seven members of S Club 7 — Tina, Paul, Hannah, Jon, Rachel, Bradley and Jo — announced plans to fully reunite for the first time in eight years for a 25th anniversary tour. However, just two months later, Cattermole died at the age of 46.

“We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul,” S Club 7 said in a statement at the time. “There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us.”

Just two months after the group announced a huge comeback tour, S Club 7 member Paul Cattermole died unexpectedly in early April at the age of 46. The cause of the singer's death has still not been confirmed, but police have said that it was not suspicious.

Following Cattermole’s passing, the band released a statement which read: ‘We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.

‘He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.’

The group found fame at the turn of the Millennium, having been put together by music mogul Simon Fuller (who has worked with acts such as Spice Girls, Kelly Clarkson and Amy Winehouse). The last time S Club – known for hits  ‘S Club Party’, ‘Never Had a Dream Come True’ and ‘Reach’ –  performed together was for their ‘Bring It All Back 2015’ tour. The tour was set to mark 25 years since the band first formed.

Rachel Stevens added: ‘He’s always going to be with us. He was such a big part of this tour, so involved in everything that we are planning.

‘And we are just going to keep his memory alive and share it with all of you and it’s going to make it even more special.’

Where can I get tickets for the S Club 7 reunion tour?

S Club 7 vow anniversary tour will still go ahead as band pay tribute to Paul Cattermole

Paul Cattermole, whose death was announced on Friday morning, was one of the first to sign up to the 25th anniversary tour which is due to start in October

The band have vowed to go ahead with the reunion in October for Paul

  • 20:41, 8 Apr 2023

S Club 7 have vowed to go ahead with their 25th anniversary reunion tour after the death of bandmate Paul Cattermole.

The 46-year-old – one of the pop group’s first recruits – died on Thursday, hours after being found at his Dorset home.

The group’s management broke the news of his death to bandmates Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, Tina Barrett, Jo O’Meara, Rachel Stevens and Jon Lee on Friday morning.

Sources close to Hannah and Jo told us how the six pals were “in pieces” after they learned of Paul’s death, just months before their 11-date UK tour beginning in October.

And they said it was “highly likely” the reunion – announced seven weeks ago – would continue in Paul’s honour.

One source said: “The band are still too upset to talk about this properly but from the little that’s been said, they want the tour to go ahead.

“Paul was one of the first to sign up for the reunion and would always talk about the positive vibe the band managed to create with their music.

“It seems like performing those gigs as they planned would be the best way to pay tribute to his memory. But things are still very raw.”

Another source told us: “Paul really cared about the gigs, he wanted them to be as good as could be.

“He did feel the pressure of that at times, especially as it had been a while since he’d performed on stage. While the others kept performing, he hadn’t. But he was looking forward to getting back out there.”

Paul joined S Club at the age of 22 after falling in love with the stage at the National Youth Music Theatre.

It was here that he met fellow S Club star Hannah – who he later dated.

The group, who sold more than 10 million albums and had four No1 singles, went on to win BRIT Awards for Best British Breakthrough Act and their 2001 single Don’t Stop Movin’.

Paul also performed in heavy metal band Skua, which he formed with his school pals and returned to after he left S Club in 2002.

But he was lured back into the pop world in 2008 as part of S Club 3. And when S Club 7 reformed in 2014, he was quick to sign up.

Ex-girlfriend Hannah was said to be “inconsolable” over his death.

In a joint statement issued on Friday, Paul’s family and S Club 7 said: “It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother.

“While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset police have confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.

Is the S Club 7 tour still happening after Paul Cattermole’s death?

S club 7 are scheduled to perform 11 shows across the uk and ireland in october..

Adriano Boin

S Club 7 were set to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary in an upcoming UK and Ireland tour, but those plans were dealt a blow following the sudden death of band member Paul Cattermole.

According to the Sun , the tour is still set to go ahead, though the remaining band members, Hannah Spearritt, Rachel Stevens, Jo O’Meara, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee and Bradley McIntosh will reportedly use the tour to honor Cattermole’s memory.

“The members are still reeling from the shock of Paul’s tragic death, but they all feel that continuing with the tour is what Paul would have wanted,” a source told the outlet.

“He was so excited about getting on stage again and feeling really positive about the reunion so it feels like the right thing to do.

“Management think it would be a lovely tribute to Paul and a great way to keep his much-loved memory alive.”

S Club 7 band members to meet with manager

The outlet adds that the band will have meetings with manager Simon Fuller in the coming weeks to discuss the upcoming tour, which is slated for 11 dates across the UK and Ireland in October.

“Simon and his team will hold meetings over the next few weeks to discuss the different options, but will make sure that everyone feels happy and comfortable,” the outlet added.

“There won’t be any public, official announcement immediately as details are finalised.”

Cattermole’s passing was unexpected

Cattermole was found at his home in Dorset on April 6, and  was pronounced dead later that day.  The cause of death is still unknown,  but there are no suspicious circumstances.

“While the cause of death is currently unknown,  Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.  Paul’s family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time,” read a statement.

Cattermole was an original member of the band when it formed back in 1998. He later left the group in 2002 and formed his own band, Skua, which broke up after a year.

He later performed with S Club 7 in 2014 and during the ‘Bring It All Back Tour’ a year later.

Members of S Club 7 have vowed that their 25th anniversary tour will go ahead and is likely to include a tribute to Paul Cattermole , who has died suddenly aged 46.

Sources close to the band say while it is too early to publicly make a decision over how their 11 concerts will proceed, they want them to take place because the late singer was so excited about them.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal Cattermole was one of the first of the seven stars to agree to take part in the reunion shows.

One insider said: 'Paul was so excited, though he seemed awkward on the outside he was looking forward to reliving some of the old, happy times with the group.

'That's why there are some members of S Club 7 who are determined the tour goes on. To them, it seems the perfect way to pay tribute to him.

'There have been some meetings and some of the group are inconsolable, they are in pieces. It has all come as such a big shock to them.'

Cattermole was found at his Dorset home last Thursday morning and was pronounced dead in the afternoon, his family said on Friday.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

His ex-girlfriend and fellow S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt was said to be 'in bits' after she was told the news by the band's management team.

In a joint statement on Friday, Cattermole's family and S Club 7 said: 'It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole.

'Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.

'While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances. Paul's family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time.'

The Mail can reveal that on Friday morning, a member of the group's manager Simon Fuller's team called the six members - Ms Spearritt, 42, Rachel Stevens, 44, Tina Barrett, 46, Jon Lee, 40, Jo O'Meara, 43, and Bradley McIntosh, 41 - to tell them the news.

The source added: 'Hannah couldn't even speak of the news, her boyfriend has been having the conversations that need to be had.

'She is inconsolable, this has come out of nowhere and she is simply numb.'

Mr Fuller, who launched the band in 1998 and was heading up the forthcoming reunion tour, was said to be 'deeply upset' at the news.

Meanwhile, the band paid tribute to Cattermole on social media.

They posted a black and white photograph of the singer in the band's heyday and wrote: 'We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel.

'We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us.'

Cattermole, who made a living as a tarot card reader after falling on hard times after he quit the group in 2002, was said to have been in 'good spirits' when he was seen at a park close to his home near Swanage last Wednesday. An onlooker said he was 'smiling and enjoying the sunshine'.

Meanwhile, Fuller, who created the group in the late 90s, broke his silence on Cattermole's death on Saturday, saying: 'Paul was a beacon of light for a generation of pop music fans and he will be greatly missed.

A source said: 'Paul was so excited, though he seemed awkward on the outside he was looking forward to reliving some of the old, happy times with the group; (S Club 7 pictured in 1999)

'We're all deeply shocked and saddened by this news.'

His bandmates were said to be 'concerned' for his wellbeing just before he died.

Cattermole previously left Loose Women viewers in tears as he discussed his life living on the breadline, revealing he was living off noodles and couldn't afford a new shirt for his television appearance at the time.

The singer revealed  he had fallen on hard times and had been experiencing money problems since being declared bankrupt in 2015.

Following the sad news of his passing, a video from his appearance looking for love on First Dates Hotel in 2019 has resurfaced online.

In the clip, Paul sweetly admitted he would trade his 'success' and 'fame' in S Club for a chance at 'one true love' before going on the date.

Paul, who quit S Club four years after they catapulted to fame, said recognition and money weren't the 'route to happiness' but finding love is.

He said: 'Would I have traded the success and the number ones for one true love? I think yeah, yeah.

'Fame isn't the route to happiness, money isn't the route to happiness, being with somebody you love is.'

The singer went on to say although he had had an array of short relationships, including with S Club co-star Hannah, he wanted to find true love.

Following the news of his death, celebrities and thousands of S Club 7 fans took to social media to pay tribute to Cattermole.

Television presenter Vernon Kay wrote: 'This is so very sad. From when I first started in TV all the way through CBBC, T4, TOTP, smash hits poll winners Paul and Sclub were always there. He always had time for a chat. RIP.'

Devastating: While his cause of death has not been revealed, the band's manager reportedly said that there were 'no suspicious circumstances'

Tragic news: While his cause of death has not been revealed, the band's manager reportedly said that there were 'no suspicious circumstances'

Paul's former housemate and friend, Sheridan Smith, said in a post on Instagram that his loss made her feel 'sick', according to OK! .

Smith said: 'Devastated beyond words. We all grew up together in the NYMT then all lived together for years.

'He was an amazing man and my heart breaks for his friends, family and loved ones. Thinking of Han & Neil and his band mates too. Too young. Feel sick.'

Breakfast television host Lorraine Kelly tweeted: 'This is so sad. Lovely man and he was so looking forward to the #sclub7 reunion. Interviewed them all many times and struck by how gentle and shy he was.'

And BBC presenter Owain Wynn Evans wrote on Twitter: 'I am so sad to hear this. Sending love xxxx.'

Responding to S Club 7's words, TV presenter Rylan Clark wrote: 'Sending all the love to you all xxx.'

Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan wrote: 'Such sad news about Paul #Sclub7 he was always lovely on the occasions where we saw each other throughout our pop journey. My heartfelt condolences & prayers to his family, friends and band mates urghh I hate this. Love while you can guys.'

Paying tribute: The news prompted an outpouring of tributes from his fans and fellow celebrities across social media last night

Paul left S Club 7 in 2002, citing 'creative differences', and the group changed their name from S Club 7 to simply S Club before splitting for good a year later.

Their TV show Miami 7 was first aired in 1999 - getting around 90m viewers, before in 2001, the band starred in Hollywood 7, when Paul started dating co-star Hannah.

Hannah and Paul's friendship predates the creation of the noughties group after they became friends in their teens at the National Youth Music Theatre.

They first kept their romance private, with Paul later revealing he would sneak to and from Hannah's house in the early hours to avoid being spotted by fans.

Hannah and Paul split up in 2006 and got back together for a few months in 2015, before calling it time on their relationship for good.

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

S Club 7’s upcoming UK and Ireland tour is set to go on as scheduled following the sudden death of band member Paul Cattermole on Thursday.

According to the Sun , the 11 shows were originally set to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary, but will now pivot to honor Cattermole.

“The members are still reeling from the shock of Paul’s tragic death, but they all feel that continuing with the tour is what Paul would have wanted,” a source told the UK outlet.

S Club 7

The source added, “He was so excited about getting on stage again and feeling really positive about the reunion so it feels like the right thing to do. Management thinks it would be a lovely tribute to Paul and a great way to keep his much-loved memory alive.”

The outlet reported the band — which consists of members Hannah Spearritt, 42, Rachel Stevens, 44, Jo O’Meara, 43, Tina Barrett, 46, Jon Lee, 40 and Bradley McIntosh, 41 — will have meetings with their manager Simon Fuller in the coming weeks to discuss the upcoming concerts and make sure everyone is “feeling happy and comfortable.”

Fuller did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

The English pop group, which formed in 1998, announced Cattermole died at age 46 on Friday.

“We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel,” they said in a statement. “We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.”

Cattermole was found at his home in Dorset, England. A cause of death has not been revealed.

The singer was spotted in great spirits , dancing during a stroll in the English countryside just one day before his death.

“Obviously, we’re bringing the nostalgia. Obviously, we’re bringing the late ’90s, early [2000s], so it’s a lot of fun. It’s very positive, our music, very positive,” McIntosh told BBC of the upcoming tour back in February.

“And I think in today’s times you need a bit of positive, you need a bit of picking up, so that’s what we’re here to do.”

S Club is coming to Toronto on their Good Times Tour as '90s revival persists

Latest Videos

With '90s dance parties now  all the rage , NSYNC debuting on  Hot Ones , Modrobes potentially making a comeback ,   and  Nelly , Aqua ,  Creed ,  Blink-182  and others playing shows again, you may be asking what year we're in (or, rather, "what's my age again?").

For those eager to deny the harsh realities of 2023 and return to a simpler time when  Pop Up Video reigned, and skirts were revoltingly worn over pants — another '00s style that is having a renaissance,  by the way  — it's been a great few months.

Yet another hit band from our youth is about to make it even better with their unexpected but perhaps inevitable return.

S Club, formerly known as S Club 7 ( RIP Paul ), has announced a new world tour called the Good Times Tour, which promises to let us wax nostalgic about better days this fall.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by S Club (@sclub)

It's the first time the group will be bringing its party (to which no other party can compare, as we all know) to North America after a quick jaunt around the U.K. and Ireland.

After 15 shows across the pond, including three in London, the singers will be heading to the U.S., starting with a show in San Francisco on November 5. The final show, and only Canadian date, will be at Toronto's Meridian Hall on November 16.

For whatever reason, the concert's promotion has been fairly low-key, and there are still  tons of tickets available starting at $74 plus taxes and fees.

Though they may be quite a lot older than we remember, Rachel, Jon, Tina, Jo and Bradley will surely be singing and dancing their hearts out to S Club Party, Bring It All Back and more 20+-year-old hits, making a must-see event for any diehard fans.

S Club 7 renamed as Hannah Spearritt pulls out of tour after Paul Cattermole's death

The band's five remaining members said they are "still in so much disbelief" following the death of Paul Cattermole last month.

Pop band S Club 7 have rebranded as S Club for their upcoming tour, due to the death of one member and the absence of another.

Founding member Paul Cattermole was found dead at his home in Dorset last month aged 46 , and Hannah Spearritt has pulled out of the band's 25th anniversary tour, meaning the group is now a five-piece.

Hannah Spearritt was at Chessington to open a new Jumanji section of the park at the weekend

On the band's Instagram, member Jon Lee said: "You've probably noticed that there are only five of us here today and, although Hannah will always be part of S Club 7, she won't be joining us on this tour.

"We wish her all the best for the future."

The number seven has also been removed from the band's social media and website.

In their Instagram video, the band members also spoke about the death of Cattermole, with Lee saying: "We have been in a bit of shock, and it has taken a while for us to find the right words to describe how we feel about losing our brother Paul."

Rachel Stevens added: "Just taking the time to process and get our heads around it all, and also taking time to share time together so that we could remember Paul and all the memories we had together."

Spearritt and Cattermole were in a relationship during their time in S Club 7 and later rekindled their romance for a brief period in 2015.

The actress and singer has since called Cattermole her "first true love," and said he was "so excited" about the band's forthcoming tour.

The band had been due to reunite in October for a 25th anniversary tour of the UK and Ireland.

Following Cattermole's death, S Club 7 encouraged fans to donate to the National Youth Music Theatre "in lieu of flowers".

Police have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Cattermole's death.

2024 RBC Heritage leaderboard: Scottie Scheffler nears fourth win in five starts with event to finish Monday

Weather prevented the final round from completing, but scheffler is well on his way to continuing his hot streak.

Scottie Scheffler's fourth victory in his last five tournaments will have to wait one more day. With the 2024 RBC Heritage experiencing more than a 2.5-hour weather delay Sunday, tournament action was unable to be completed before nightfall; it will instead leak into the work week. The final round at Harbour Town Golf Links will resume Monday at 8 a.m. ET with Scheffler holding a five-stroke lead at 20 under.

The world No. 1 is well clear of his nearest pursuer, Wyndham Clark, with three holes left in his tournament. Clark, meanwhile, is in the clubhouse at 15 under hoping for another runner-up check behind Scheffler. Others on the golf course like J.T. Poston, Patrick Cantlay and Sahith Theegala stand at that same number with holes to play.

Monday morning may only be a formality as Scheffler looks to be in control of just about everything -- like he has been the last two months.

Scheffler began Sunday in Hilton Head Island with one arm already slipped in the tartan jacket. Possessing a one-stroke lead, the Texan was crowned by many late Saturday evening despite the bevy of stars who had plans to upend him.

After knocking in a 6-foot par save on the 1st, Scheffler more or less turned those predictions into a reality. Chipping in for eagle on the par-5 2nd from long of the green (his 11th hole-out from off the green this season), Scheffler opened a three-stroke lead on the field and never looked back.

Charges were made by many, including a familiar foe in Clark, but none were that threatening. The reigning U.S. Open champion turned in 7-under 29 and tacked on another birdie on the 11th to get within one of Scheffler, but the pressure of perfection proved too much.

Hitting a tree with his second shot on No. 12, Clark's ball ricocheted out of bounds and led to a double bogey. Another dropped shot came on the following hole and all but secured another near miss from the U.S. Open champion.

Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Åberg, Cantlay and Theegala all hovered on the first page of the leaderboard but never truly threatened. Instead, it was Patrick Rodgers who emerged as Scheffler's greatest threat thanks to an eagle-2 at the turn. A bogey a few holes later put an end to his Cinderella story.

Remaining in the wake of mistakes was a spotless Scheffler at 19 under, four ahead of the field. Turning in 3 under, the steadiest man in the game marched forward with a heavy diet of fairways and greens before a spell of thunderstorms halted his momentum on the par-4 12th.

Inclement weather was all that could stop Scheffler as the 27-year-old returned to the golf course more than two hours later and resumed his round without a hitch. While temperatures cooled and winds freshened, Scheffler was unaffected.

He picked off a birdie on the 13th to push his lead to five before a mud ball on the 15th led to his second finding the water on the par 5. It didn't matter as Scheffler launched a pitching wedge onto the surface, spinning it left and utilizing the slope to access the tucked pin. He avoided what would have been his first dropped shot since the 3rd hole on Thursday with an emphatic par save, and he will sleep easy Sunday night knowing five strokes separate him from the field and three holes separate him from victory.

Rick Gehman, Kyle Porter, Patrick McDonald and Greg DuCharme discuss Scottie Scheffler's hold on the RBC Heritage, Nelly Korda's fifth straight victory and Miles Russell finishing top 25 as a 15 year old. Follow & listen to The First Cut on  Apple Podcasts  and  Spotify .

Play called for evening

The final group is on the green on the par-5 15th meaning they will have three holes to play on Monday. Scottie Scheffler faces a par putt from 10 feet to maintain his five-stroke lead as he stands at 20 under.

Five clear with five to go!

The only thing that can stop him is the sunlight at this rate. Scottie Scheffler adds a birdie on 13 to get to 20 under and five clear of the crew at 15 under. Without the world No. 1 this tournament would be very, very good, but alas they are all fighting for first flight honors it appears.

Conditions are considerably harder for these guys. The wind has switched, it's about 10 degrees cooler and they are racing against the clock. Scottie Scheffler and Sepp Straka make par on No. 12 and head to the par-4 13th. Wyndham Clark posts the clubhouse lead at 15 under, four behind Scheffler.

Let's play ball!

Players are on the golf course and play is set to resume. Scottie Scheffler in the final pairing has about 7.5 holes remaining and one hour until sunset meaning this thing is probably going to leak into Monday unfortunately.

Play to resume at 7 p.m.

Coverage information, play to resume at 6 p.m. et.

The expectation is this thing will be finished today as the range is open and play is set to resume in 40 minutes at 6 p.m. ET. This will leave Scottie Scheffler a couple hours to complete just about seven holes as he left off in the middle of the 12th fairway with a four-stroke lead at 19 under.

Play suspended due to weather

The horn has sounded at 4:28 p.m. ET as a large weather system (with lightning) has engulfed Harbour Town. This comes as Scottie Scheffler stands in the 12th fairway with a four-stroke lead at 19 under over a number of pursuers up ahead of him on the golf course. Players are being brought back into the clubhouse as rules officials make an assessment on when play will return.

Rain comin' down hard

Scheffler turns in 33 with three-stroke lead.

Scheffler lets a chance slide by on the short ninth and will instead settle for a 3-under 33 on his front nine. It was highlighted by his eagle-3 on the par-5 2nd and Scheffler will head to the back side with a three-stroke edge.

Theegala thriving

Theegala cards four 3s in a row to end his front nine and get within four of Scottie Scheffler. Sahith spoke yesterday about how cool it is what Scheffler is currently doing and how it is a motivating factor for someone like him to get better. It's a great perspective and Theegala continues to get better and better, but it may not be enough this week as he is four behind with nine to go.
