The nation’s favourite and most-loved musical duo Michael Ball and Alfie Boe have announced their ‘Together This Summer Tour’ which will visit ten stunning outdoor venues across the UK.

Actor and singer Michael Ball and tenor Alfie Boe met, somewhat appropriately, in a production of Kismet at the London Coliseum in 2007. The duo’s instant camaraderie and professional mutual admiration proved to be the start of a long-standing and incredibly successful partnership.

With decorated careers in theatre and opera, Ball & Boe suddenly added chart superstars to their bow. Their first album, Together, went to No.1 in the UK album charts in 2016, eventually going double platinum.

Their follow-up came just a year later, with Together Again also going to No.1 in the UK. Their third collaboration, Back Together, followed in 2019, this time peaking at No.2 in the UK album charts. In between albums, Ball & Boe embarked on sold-out arena tours and presented two televised ITV specials.

In October 2020, the duo announced they would be reuniting for a Ball & Boe Christmas album, Together At Christmas, due for release in November 2020. The album featured a host of traditional festive favourites and a guest appearance from Gregory Porter. A 2021 Ball & Boe UK tour was also announced, which would see their impressive voices tour arenas around the country in time for Christmas 2021.

As a duo, they have now sold over 1.3 million albums in the UK, received two Classic Brit Awards, sold out two headline arena tours and presented three ITV Specials.

What can I say! This show was Alfie Boe at his finest. An intimate setting provided superb acoustics for his powerful voice that resonated round the whole room. All the favourites were on the repertoire. Bring Him Home from Les Miserables as always outstanding. Snow Patrol's "Run" absolutely phenomenal and finished with a magnificent a capella performance of Danny Boy, brought the house down

He was his usual humble, humorous, jovial self and took great delight in interacting with the audience. AMAZING SHOW AS ALWAYS.

Les Miserables of course is a favourite musical of anyone, an absolute classic, but to hear Alfie Boe sing Bring Him Home to a huge theatre full of fans as part of his performance was simply incredible. Boe’s voice is distinctive and one of those goose bump guaranteed voices, and he brought everyone around me to tears before the end of the first verse. Watching Boe perform a variety show blew me away, as he demonstrated the incredible versatility of his voice in one performance, from tenor to bass pieces.

As well as being one of the most talented vocalists I have ever heard perform, Boe is hilarious and great at interacting with his audience. From the start of the concert he was cracking jokes and asking everyone in the audience questions, and although it was a huge theatre, it felt really personal and intimate. Of course all of Boe’s recordings are incredible, but the raw emotion that he injects into his music is something that is massively heightened in live performance and brought a whole new level of comprehension to the songs.

When he performed the duet Come What May, he and Becky were joking before the song started, and they had a little giggle in the introduction and started again. I really liked this comedic aspect, as it demonstrated that the couple were really enjoying the show as well as performing an incredible song.

Alfie kicked off 2022 filming BBC One’s new show ‘Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof’ the show followed Alfie along with 7 other celebrities as they give up their warm cozy lives to live in the Italian mountains in sub-zero conditions, facing a series of daunting cold challenges designed to push their minds and bodies to the limit all under the watchful eye of the global sensation Wim Hof AKA ‘The Ice Man’ who believes that embracing the cold can change their lives for the better. Filming the series had a huge lasting impression on Alfie as he opened up about his own struggles with mental health. As a young boy, Lancashire-born Alfie Boe (from the fishing port of Fleetwood) dreamed of a career as a singer. Turning his dreams into reality, Alfie has enjoyed a hugely successful career both in his native Britain and across the pond.

His career exploded in 2002 when stage and film director Baz Luhrmann cast him in a lead role in the acclaimed Broadway revival of ‘La Bohème’. Alfie's powerhouse performance brought him a Tony award and marked his arrival on the international scene.

Having conquered the world’s most prestigious opera stages, Alfie led the cast of Les Misérables in the role of Jean Valjean in the West End and played the lead role in Finding Neverland on Broadway. Much-loved tenor and singing legend Alfie Boe has announced an extensive 23-date solo tour of the UK and Ireland. The announcement follows the recent release of 'Together In Vegas', his fifth collaborative album with Michael Ball.

The Grammy-nominated tenor has been wowing audiences across the globe for more than two decades - from his 2002 critically-acclaimed lead role in the Baz Luhrmann Broadway revival of ‘La Bohème’ to his headline performances in the ‘Showstoppers’ show in Las Vegas, and three sold-out solo UK tours.

Fresh from conquering some of the world's most prestigious stages, the operatic icon will be performing classic songs and fan favourites at some of the UK’s finest venues, and tickets are expected to sell-out quickly.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, November, 4 at 10am via Ticketmaster and See Tickets .

With four top-ten solo albums under his belt, three number one collaborative albums and numerous sold-out tours, the Lancashire-born singer is still very much in demand. In 2019 he was awarded an OBE for services to the music industry, and in 2021 Alfie put together his own Livestream show titled ‘Alfie Boe & Friends’ which saw him team up with Gary Barlow, Freddie Fox, and Amanda Holden.

The sensational singing duo will headline at a number of outdoor venues this summer

Alfie Boe & Michael Ball have added three extra shows to their UK summer 2022 tour. Tickets go on presale on 9am Thursday 17 February and general sale begins at 10am on Friday 18 February.

Ball & Boe will hit three stunning outdoor venues with a huge outdoor picnic concert, including Longleat on Tuesday 28 June, Waddesdon Manor on Monday 4 July and Chewton Glen on Tuesday 12 July.

The operatic pair are already set to blow audiences away at six other venues across the country including Hampton Court Palace and Central Park Plymouth. See a full list of 2022 tour dates below.

After meeting in 2007 at a production of Kismet , the vocal stars have achieved massive success as a duo, reaching number one with their debut album Together in 2016 and again with Together Again in 2017.

Initial casting has been announced for the Les Misérables world tour, with Alfie Boe and Michael Ball set to return in principal roles.

Boe will be splitting the part of Jean Valjean with Killian Donnelly, while Michael Ball and Bradley Jaden share the role of Javert for the UK leg of the tour.

All four stars are alumni of the iconic Boubil and Schonberg musical, with Boe reprising the part of Jean Valjean for the fifth time and Ball having played the part of Marius in the first ever West End production, before later going on to play Jean Valjean and Inspector Javert.

The stars will be joined by a cast and orchestra of over 65 people for shows in Belfast, Sheffield, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Manchester and Newcastle as part of Les Misérables: The Arena Spectacular world tour.

Spanning over 15 countries, the tour will kick off this September with a limited UK run before carrying on to Luxembourg, Australia, Taiwan, Italy, South Korea and more.

This new tour has been specially designed for stadiums of between 3,000 to 5,000 audience members, which means everything from staging and choreography to the belting out Bring Him Home will be bigger and better than ever before.

Alfie Boes Danny Boy was probably the finest sound I have ever heard, with no musical backing, just alfie boe, a microphone and an arena in total silence listening to a thing of beauty

I went with my husband as an early Christmas present to each other...Alfie didnt disappoint. His voice was amazing and he had great rapport with the crowd...got us all up dancing!! Even when the crowd heckled him(nicely, of course), he laughed along with them and carried on! His whole show was fantastic and I would definitely go and see him again. Wonderful!!

Simply the best. This is the second time we have seen Alfie Boe and he did not disappoint. The show was different but excellent throughout. His rendering of Come What May was literally breath taking. Nessun Dorma sung accompanied by just a single piano was sublime and his unaccompanied Danny Boy was very moving. The rest of the show was varied and very very good. Cannot wait for the next concert.

Alfie Boe has announced an extensive UK and Ireland tour.

The Tony award-winning tenor will celebrate 20 years in the music industry with shows in Leicester, Bath, Plymouth, Brighton, Southampton, Southend, Bournemouth, Llandudno, London, Sheffield, Newcastle, Harrogate, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Oxford, Blackpool, Birmingham, Belfast and Dublin between September 13 and October 17.

The concerts will see Boe perform "classic songs, fan favourites and more." Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 4.

Following his very special evening with at the Royal Albert Hall earlier this month celebrating 20 years in entertainment; Much-loved tenor , Alfie Boe has announced a nationwide UK tour for autumn 2023 including a date at the Winter Gardens Blackpool .

Alfie Boe has conquered the world’s most prestigious opera stages and has entertained fans around the globe. From leading the cast of Les Misérables – which received a Grammy nomination for ‘Best Musical Theatre Album’ and three sold-out solo UK tours, Boe has always strived to bring great music to different audiences.

As a young boy, Lancashire-born Alfie Boe (from the fishing port of Fleetwood) dreamed of a career as a singer. Turning his dreams into reality, Alfie has enjoyed a hugely successful career both in his native Britain and across the pond.

His career exploded in 2002 when stage and film director Baz Luhrmann cast him in a lead role in the acclaimed Broadway revival of ‘La Bohème’. Alfie’s powerhouse performance brought him a Tony award and marked his arrival on the international scene.

Alfie is a platinum, multi-million selling recording artist, with four top ten solo albums, three number one albums as part of ‘Ball & Boe’ alongside Michael Ball – the last one being 2020’s ‘Together At Christmas’ which was followed by a sold out UK and Ireland arena tour in December 2021 and a Summer Festival tour in 2022. The duo have just released their latest, current album ‘Together In Vegas.

This year Alfie appeared on The BBC Series Freeze The Fear with Wim Hoff and made a very special guest appearance on Love Island. He debuted ‘Showstoppers’ – his first headline performance show in Las Vegas, where he’s also just announced his next show April 8th 2023. He played a sold out headline show at The Royal Albert Hall this month and he’ll be headlining 3 shows in Tokyo in February 2023. Alfie is currently in the studio writing and recording new music…watch this space.
