Join us for a day on the water on our custom built, powered catamaran! It's the only one like it on the Emerald Coast. The Cattywampus is the perfect vessel to enjoy unique eco cruises offering some of the best sights and unforgettable experiences. Captain Tony and his first mate will give you a tour from Okaloosa Island to the Destin Harbor and into the Gulf of Mexico in search of our dolphin friends. We even make a stop to jump in the water to swim and snorkel.

Fun for the Whole Family

We offer dolphin watching tours with a stop to get in the water on all of our cruise times.  Our cruises are 3 hours long.  Guests are welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and small cooler.  You may bring alcohol for guests 21yrs or older, please avoid glass.  You are welcome to bring your own mask and snorkel. Snorkeling gear is available on board for guests.  Capt and crew sanitize gear after every use. Don’t forget your towel and sunscreen!

About the Vessel

• The Cattywampus is super family friendly for guests 0-99
• We have a ton of space with over 960 sf of deck
• Half the deck is shaded with molded seating
• The other half is unshaded with nets to layout on & catch the sun
• Very easy on/off access via the retractable staircase that becomes part of the deck when closed.  This makes for a very friendly entrance/exit for children & elders on the water.
• We choose safe, shallow swim sites so all our guests can enjoy swimming & snorkeling.

We were looking for a sunset cruise for our family of 5 and came across Destin Excursions. It was perfect for our family and so nice to have the boat to ourselves! Captain Brian was very easy to work with and had some great stories to share! The sunset was beautiful! We had an amazing evening on the water with Captain Brian, I highly recommend him!

Best part of our trip to Destin was our boat ride! We saw dolphins and sharks as well as snorkeled. Marshmallow Beach was a great place to find shells. Brian was easy to schedule and work with- always communicated quickly. Would highly recommend and would use his tour again when visiting Destin.

We took a 2 hour sunset ride to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and the night could not have been more perfect! It is a beautiful area to cruise around, we saw dolphins and a beautiful sunset. Having the boat to ourselves made it so much nicer than hoping for the best view from a large boat crowded with people. Brian and Clarissa were fun and informative captains and I am so happy we found them!

We had a great time with Captain Brian and his daughter Clarissa on our snorkeling trip! We found lots of beautiful shells(with help from Clarissa) and had a fun time seeing all the marine life in the bay. We were very glad we went with a private charter that was almost the same price as one of the big snorkel trips. Brian caters to whatever type of trip you want to take which was super cool!
